Hi,
Recently purchased the following iPhone clone:
z5_4.0_Android_4.2_MTK6577_Cortex_A9_Dual_Core_1.2GHz_Smartphone_Android
It runs iPhone launcher which uses "iPhone like" settings.
The problem is that the available languages are limited and even if I download keyboard pack it doesn't show it in the options.
Other keyboards like emoji present only english (emoticon leaves a blank).
I'm ready to lose the iPhone GUI.
How can I revert it back to Android 4.2 native GUI, without loosing USB, Wi-Fi, GPS or any other available functionality?
I went through the posts but couldn't find a match - if there is one, please point me to it.

Hello everyone, I am new to the xda-developers forums. I currently have an iPhone and I will be switching over to the Galaxy S5 come Saturday. The only thing I will miss about my iPhone is the emojis. I know Samsung has made their own emoji keyboard with a recent update. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to getting the iOS emoji keyboard for the Galaxy S5 (where emojis will show up every where and not the android ones)? Hopefully it will be the route where I will not have to root my phone.

If you don't want to root or flash a custom recovery the only solution I see would be to use an alternative keyboard which has iOS emojis.

But you need to root your device !

Whats a flash custom recovery? And if i were to use the alternative of finding a keyboard with iOS emojis, will those emojies appear as they do in the keyboard when I use them lets say in the notepad app or something? Or will the android ones appear once typed? Sorry, I'm a noob when it comes to androids.

First off, try the above app and see if it fits your needs. No root/custom recovery needed.

when I receive messages with emoji from a Blackberry, I can not see the emoji.
It 'a problem of incompatibility between the two phones, or is there a way to fix it?
NB: Inside my samsung s3 Lte (i9305) , I have amcha rom with android 4.3 and i use SwiftKey keyboard.

By default android only supports google or other android makers emojis like samsung, htc etc so it cannot "see" BB ones and only a select few ios ones.
Change to a messaging app that supports other emojis eg I use gosms pro (even though its free) as it supports something like over 800 emojis (including displaying ios ones)

Hello, i am thinking about getting my Grandmother a tablet or something. and i was wondering if it is possible to create or if it already exists
my idea is simple, i am looking for some custom firmware with only the basic apps, like internet and phone app. perhaps even a gallery app however i want it to have big letters, with adaptiveness so i can change the letters to the size she likes, well i think you get what i mean. i want a smartphone that is a grannyphone what i have available is a note 2 4G and a huwei tablet or how it is spelled

Wow your ROM is a quarter of the size of the BTU official ROM, yours 1.19Gb BTU 4.052 Gb! connects to my S6 Edge via bluetoothOK, seems twice as fast than original ROM. All my apps and watch faces I paid for transfer to gear great!
1-Could you fix news briefing page as its a chinese web page and not in English?
2-Select keyboard only shows Chinese IME, could you add English?
3-Could you enable delete of stored Chinese contacts that are loaded?

1-The news is based on the ROM package, I use the Chinese package, so it will be chinese.
2-Input method and language can change ah. After you change the English, the following is not a keyboard settings, in the choice of.
3-
4-Connect to use Samsung gear.
Connections can be synchronized with your contacts, and may also change the language of the news briefing.

Thanks again for your ROM and help, I have re flashed original stock ROM due to a few hicuups with chinese language (when creating SMS), and when I paired with my S6 Edge plus and getting weather updates when the gear was a standalone again.

IMHO, I think it's a bad idea. The battery is only 300mAh..you're going to kill the battery in less than 4 hours, I wager.

不是我没有服务器 没法像安卓那样可以在设置里升级那种。只能以后在电脑上刷升级包。升级包目前不到1m！！！

Hi, at the beginning I want to point out that this is my first thread, so if I did something wrong I apologize. I also want to apologize for my English.
Recently, on many old Samsung phones, the AccuWeather weather widget stopped working for me. First, I noticed the problem on the Galaxy A5 2015 with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. When I wanted to enter the city into the weather, it did not find my town, and after entering larger ones it was, but after selecting them suddenly disappeared, I tried to use the map, it showed me several large European cities there, but after selecting any it wrote that the service is now unavailable. I decided it was a temporary failure, so I ignored it. Some time later I managed to fix my Galaxy Note3 with Android 5.0 Lollipop, so there I wanted to introduce the weather, but the effect was the same. A month later I reset my Galaxy S4 with Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the effect when trying to enter the weather city the same, 2 days later I got a Galaxy S2 with Android 4.1.2 JellyBean, the effect exactly the same. I remembered that on my second S4, but with Android 4.3 JellyBean, I have the weather introduced, so I charged it to check it, the weather was there, but it showed the state of March 26, 2023, after trying to refresh itself refreshed the moment, but finally there was the same effect, when trying to add another city, the same effect as on the phones mentioned earlier. Maybe someone knows what the problem is? If AccuWeather doesn't work, maybe there's another widget that looks like the original one? Please help.
Accuweather requires Android 6.0 or newer. So that's why it doesn't work on Android 5.0 anymore.
Ehhhh, can I use a custom app to use this feature? I want it to look like the original. By the way, I will add that on my Xperia Z2 with 5.0.2 works AccuWeather.

If that works on Z2 then maybe it's older version. I just look out playstore that newer versions requires Android 6.0+
And it is possible to somehow make it work, for example, a custom widget, but to look like the original or something like that?

Watched the same behavior...
AFAIK no custom widget will work since the app itself is the one to blame.
Accuweather v5.8.6 was the latest version to support Android 4.1+.
Search the web and install it. It works. The widgets are slightly different though.
