Hi, I'm running stock Android 4.4 on a Nexus 5.
Does anyone know how to delete an email account listed under Corporate in Settings / Accounts. I deleted two Hotmail accounts by clicking > Settings > IMAP > *click on account* > Settings > Remove Account. However, both Hotmail accounts are still showing in the Calendar and Email apps. I was trying to uninstall my Hotmail accounts and reinstall them again as my Hotmail calendars were showing duplicate entries in the calendar app. Now it seems they are uninstallable / unremovable?!!!
Please help!
PROBLEM SOLVED
EDIT: I rebooted my phone and checked the sync boxes under Settings > Corporate > *account* and the Remove Account option showed up under the Settings Dots. God. What a palava. Why do those boxes have to be ticked to have the Remove Account option showing?!

Hey,
I gotta a problem. My phone will only sync my main gmail calendar, and not my subcalendars, which is a real pain in the ass. My gmail structure is the following:
Home (Main calendar)
Uni (Sub calendar)
Work (Sub calendar)
Sport (Sub calendar)
If I edit, add or delete a event in Home from desktop it sync's, same thing if I do it on the phone. However it doesn't sync with my sub calendars (it doesn't get any events down, so calendars are empty on phone), so if a add a event on my phone it doesn't sync to gmail, if I add on gmail it doesn't sync to phone
Checked the settings, all the calendars are set to sync and be visible, have manually sync'ed a 1000 times. It started to happend sometime late last week, haven't had any problems before
Tried to wipe all calendar data, and that worked
Settings > Applications > Manage applications > All > Calendar Storage > Clear data > OK
Hi, is it possible yet to delete multiple emails (over 800 in my phone trash folder) from the mini.
I have deleted the emails from my hotmail account on my computer but they still show up on my phone.
Would it be possible to sync the accounts to delete the emails from my phone.
Thanks
Mark
why dont you try deleting data for your email application and then re entering your email settings?
go to applications > manage applications > all > email
then clear cache and clear data
Hi
I am using 2 imap accounts within the messaging application but the emails are nto being pushed to my device (the problem described in this thread.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1432778 )
Yesterday I found the "Accounts and Sync Settings" application in my phone and as I checked it there, I found that my email accounts are listed there but the synchronisation settings for them is set to "OFF" which may be the reason why is the push not working...
I checked all the settings regarding the email accounts and their delivery options but they are set to be pushed, there is no data saver or whatever - simply are conditions are fine but I can't get them to sync in the background (yes - the folders are set to work in the background sync mode....)
Anyone knows what is wrong? - why are not the imap accounts enabled to use the background sync???
thanks
Hi. I have a problem with my new Galaxy S3.
Once I login into Twitter, it doesn't add twitter contacts to my contact list. And in 'Settings > Accounts and Sync > Twitter' (sorry, my mobile is in spanish) it only appears to be synchronize data, not contacts.
Twitter doesn't appear neither in 'Contacts > Accounts'.
What should I do?
Thanks
Contact sync was deleted in the lasts updates, compatibility, I guess
So how do we add Twitter contacts to the address book now? Is there a 3rd party app that does it?
hello. please, after update to nougat my h850, if i delete a mail or open a mail, even after many hour, doesn't refresh and in pc browser i found again the same mail and i have to delete again. what can i do for this?
thanks
Try and remove the account in the settings app:
Settings -> Accounts & Sync -> Google
Select the account and click the three dots in the top right hand corner and select remove account.
After doing this go back to the account settings and re-add the account.
