hello friends
i have jb sense 4+ rooted dsx on stock ROM.
i have installed just a mod for notification bar recently then and did nothing else to my phone but after few days when i clicked on any video my phones goes black every time and i have to restart it by removing battery to work again. i did a factory reset from custom recovery and the video started playing normal but after some days it is happening again.
help is appreciated

Unlocked Bootloader, everything was completed with no problems
Currently Using Armin Rom, but i have used at least 4 previous roms and I am getting the same problem
Problem
-Battery drains right in front of my eyes
-Phone crashes at certain applications such as after a call / during a call, and when watching YouTube
-When you press the power to reboot you get a blinking red light notification
-update" was using google sky map and phone just died tried rebooting got red light again. charge level was low -_- the battery stats says that it is good health ?
Anyone else have similar problems ?
Saw same thing happen from old dying battery, new battery fixed it.

Flash stock 2.3.3 ROM, to determine is the problem related with the hardware (battery) or it is unsuccessful ROM settings.

1) Yeh checked up on ebay theres some battery under $20 CAD
2)I flashed to stock rom / unlock / custom rom
same issue happens before. Today I was on a call and the phone died. Try rebooting the phone and kept on getting red notification light -_- after 2 mins I was back

i got Resurrection Remix ics v1.0 PRO[XXLPQ-LPJ]4.0.3 ROM for a few days and i am experiencing the problem below.
The phone out of a sadden it freezes. when i say freezes the screen is totally black, it looks like its turned off and none of the buttons are functioning. moreover, if i keep pressing the power button it does nothing. i have to remove the cover take out the battery and put it back on in order to restart and work.
last time i wanted to check if the phone was turned off when it had that black screen so i called my mobile number from the land-line. surprisingly when i tried to call the call went through but there was no ringtone no vibration nothing. just a dead screen. so i had no clue if someone was calling or not.
by the way i had the exact same problem with a previous version of this ROM Resurrection Remix ics v9.6 and i had to do the whole battery and cover thing in order to switch it back on again.
i hope that all the above make sense and that hopefully there is a solution to that. the ROM is very nice and smooth with great battery life and i don't wanna change it with the official ICS for SII or something.

Hi there,
Installed Omega v15 - XXDLH6 on my GT-I9300. After a while when I'm using the phone the screen turns black in facebook app when I click on a picture. when I go from potrait to landscape it shows the transition and disappears again, Press back and I return to the timeline with working screen again. This all starts after the first time the phone turns the screen from time out.
Tried cache clearing, reinstalling app, killing app end clearing RAM. The only thing working is rebooting and then it starts again after a while.
Suggestions anyone?
Suggestion is dont use beta test firmware as its always flakey .
Second suggestion is to search your problem see if other users have found a fix ,

i was tired of my Unrooted padfone 2, so i used this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2130276, worked and rebooted,
then i downloaded https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.font.installer
changed the font, to http://www.fonts2u.com/haxrcorp-4089-cyrillic-altgr-regular.font
then after 2-3 seconds my phone background started to resetting to the normal background, couldnt change the background so i turned the phone off, and then on, and now i can't boot the phone anymore, only showing "padfone 2" (aka loading screen) tried to do a factory reset, no effect :/

The battery broke.. while i tried to reboot by taking the battery off complety.. just ordered a new one, and i'll come back when i need help!

Yes sounds like you bricked your phone! The font installer app will do that when trying to change the system fonts to another type some fonts will work but others will not and you end up with an expensive paper weight! I'm not familiar with this model of phone but I'm afraid that you will have to send it in for service or purchase a new one! Sorry !
Hello everyone!
I have a Galaxy Note 3 sm900 and rooted my phone while on ics. After a year or so started getting random restarts and thought its a perfect chance to upgrade it to Lollipop. My friend did it for me, and it works perfectly fine except icons after a while started behaving strangely, it's like they got corrupted (black squares, blue sqares, dissapeared icon or false shadowing of the text etc..).
I have tried factory reset- didn't help.
Any help? Thanks for understanding
