Why would you want a 2mA charger? That wouldn't even charge enough to keep up with drain at idle.
Are you looking for a 2A charger, maybe? HUGE difference.
I use the HP touchpad charger for my devices, it's 2A. Got it straight from HP for $5.
Or maybe 2,000mAh ? LOL

The good chargers cost money. Samsung and apple make the best chargers. Sticking to brand names is worth it. Got 4 samsung 2a chargers now one of which is powering an s charging pad. One to keep in back pack. The other two are for my apt or my folks house.

Chargers meant for the iPad are 2amp at least. FYI.

Go to ebay and type "Samsung genuine note 3 charger". Narrow the search field to Buy Now and Least to Greatest.
Now if you're going to come back and say "hey, all those are from China and HK"! My response is going to be, what part of our device isnt? So dont go expecting one from a US seller because we all know where they got their from and price jacked it.

How do you know, I mean REALLY know what you have is genuine? Are you using CORE or comparing disassembly or using o-scopes?
Isn't yours "stamped" like everyone else's?
I have this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A9PO5AM/ref=oh_details_o09_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I bought it when I bought the samsung QI wirelss charger pad a while back. The pad needs a 2 amp charger. The build quality is pretty good. I wanted one that the cable doesn't come off because my wife steals all my USB cables. I've been happy with it. I use it all the time for my Note 3, 2013 Nexus 7 and the QI pad when I have the time to lay my tablet down and not use it while its charging.

Because since I stopped buying "genuine" from eBay, amazon or the like I haven't had to buy more chargers to replace "genuine". All the chargers I've received with my phones or I have bought from the OEM itself are still going strong. The only charger I would trust not bought from a big known corporate OEM or similar is phi hong of which the original nexus one and galaxy nexus came with by the way. My phi hong nexus one charger is still going strong. Phi hong makes good power supplies also. Ive also researched what you get when you buy fleabay. Dirty unreliable power that 9 times out of 10 isnt rated what it says on the sticker and if it does output what is says on the sticker you're getting a charger that probably wont last 3 months or might start a fire or burn out your phone or your battery. Buying from amazon or eBay is very high percentage you're buying disposable to save a buck or two and being a tree hugger I realized myself and other people were spending more going that route. Peace out.

Well, my Note 2 didn't come with a charger and I bought a "genuine" one off ebay. That was a year ago and I recent went to the Note 3. Now that charger I bought off ebay is still working fine. So either it's "genuine" as it was advertised or its a really close copy being it looks the exact opposite as the one that came with my Note 3.
So maybe, just maybe, there are genuine Samsung chargers on ebay.

the TF is relatively cheep for what it is, but is Asus thinking of making bank with accessories?
$150 for dock, somewhat reasoable, but still a bit overpriced.
$40 for cheap (as in weak) portfolio case
$40 for cable?!?!?!

I disagree on this note.
the dock is pretty damn cheap for what it is. 150 dollars, (I paid 123 shipped through tigerdirect) and its a keyboard, USB ports, SD card slot, and the biggest point here, a HUGE BATTTERY. Think of how much something like this would cost if it were just a battery. People love to charge premium for batteries.
For the accessories, everyone knows tat they are gonna be expensive. Look at Apples accessories. They set the standard for expenive ass items.
That being said, the charger price is wicked expensive. 24.99 would be a fair price from a nmanufacturer.
One bad thing about the charger they are selling is that it doesn't look any different than the one that came with the Transformer to start with. And it's defiantly not worth 40$.

$40 for a charger is kind of outragous when you stop to consider that one didn't ship with the dock.I'll be taking extra special care of my cable and charger till there are less expensive alternatives availble.

Some effort has already been done on this and it appears that the charger must be connected to the TF to actually supply voltage. AKA nothing when open circuit. Since charger is listed as 5V and 15V it is possible a sense pin in the connector lets the charger know what voltage to supply.

I don't believe anything other than the tablet/dock terminating pin on the cable is what triggers the charger to charge. Once I my 3.0 extension cable comes in I should be able to figure it out.

There's a couple of stores where I live in Canada, selling the dock for just under $130. I'm expecting Monoprice to eventually come out with a USB cable for the Transformer, which will cost under $10.
WG
I posted a couple comments on ASUS' Facebook page. They deleted all of them claiming I "spammed" them by asking in two separate posts about the availability of chargers.
They magically "undeleted" my post and two different ASUS employees responded with boilerplate "we will check and have someone respond to you ". I never heard back from anyone. This was about two weeks ago.
So, does anyone have any updates? Why no third party chargers? I would think the market is huge. eBay is flooded with cases now, but no chargers.
now its $50 for the charger.. lol?
It is consider cheap. In Singapore, the charger cost S$50 and the cable cost S$20.
I paid for the charger as it is very fragile, used less than a month, it is broken.
I posted a couple items on FB. Let's see whether they get a response.

I really like the estore, because they are a direct parts supplier for little guys. We do not have to be resellers nor repair shops.
In retail USA shops and on eBay we can buy AC Adapters now. I am starting to see these chargers distributed in *many* more places as the accessory line catches up.
In my opinion, I cut the estore slack because of the *service* it provides across a broad ASUS line.

You got something against buying straight from the source and saving tons of middle man money? It's like how overpriced most of the cases are. So much stuff is made in china now I really don't care about paying a lot extra for a warranty on a product if i can buy it over and over 5 times before i spent as much as the "official" made in china from an overpriced accessories manufacturer.

I think the discount is because Verizon gets to put their name/logo on your accessory.
Also if you register your phone on the Samsung site you get a code for 50% off accessories under $50. If you order at least $50 total, I think shipping is free.

There's a good picture up somewhere around here, and the OEM charging back is much thicker than the very minor build caused by the Docooler insert I have.
As BlueChris hard pointed out you can also remove the outer film from the inserts to make them a bit thinner. Since I'm using a bumper my phone still lays flat even with the bulge, so I don't think I'll bother to do that. If you want to use a full case it would be worth the effort.
Off Topic: I ordered the Docooler brand insert on Amazon and the shipping estimate came out to a range of 24 to 43 days, but it arrived in 10. Now I'm really happy I went with the cheap one ($11.98 with shipping).

I have purchased from TigerDirect - many years ago - and they were reliable then. I presume the same is true now... They are I the US and have been in business a long time...
Hello,
i got the Charging Pad and Back Cover Bundle today (Gray/Black).
Package Contents:
1m Micro-USB Cable (White)
Charging Pad Color light Gray/White
Black Back-Cover.
Quality of Cable and Pad is ok, but not exceptional. But why white/gray for a black Note 3 .
Quality of the Back-Cover is much less worth than the original one.
It offers not the "grip" and "Leather"-Feel then the original one.
the "Samsung" is really cheep printed in grey rather than the silver one on the original.
The Charging-Cover adds 2-3 mm to the Phone. NFC is working and it charges at a rate of nearly 700 mA.
Regards
Robert

I bought one of these last year.. Like that it keeps the phone propped up. I must have like 3 or 4 qi chargers all over my home.. Very convenient.. Whats a USB charging cable again..? Lol

Just got mine. Sold my nexus 5 charger on eBay, used the $10 amazon promo code, got it for next to nothing. And prime 2 day shipping.
Great product!

I know! but if you can get one, you can see the difference between other wireless charger! now I'm using the TYTL to charge the stone and this one as a portable charger bank! But the qistone cost 532 SEK (swedish)... 48 dollars!:silly:
So I came across this and I had to order it. figure I'd spread the word its the new Samsung phone stand fast charge wireless pad thing u can use it flat to a Samsung power pack with fast charge also (over 10,000 mAh) and a car charger with fast charge technology Its Verizon brand. but the other two are official Samsung.
check it OUT

For 99 bucks it better be.. try amazon. For your fast chargers... paid 18 to 23 bucks each. Just looks like over priced Verizon stuff..

Some people are even taking the small round wireless chargers and using magnets to hold the phone to the charger kind of cool

The only thing Verizon is the car charger brother. I actually work for Tmobile and we sell that same battery pack for $80 and we just got the wireless pad there $70
even with my Tmo discount this was way cheaper.
got to buy quality boss. most people know these cheap aftermarket chargers dont last or WORST can damage your device. good luck with that brother cheers
