i cant open some websites like torrents websites
i was able to open them on my previous roms
i have used chrome,dolphine,opera,firefox browsers but result is same in all browsers

many torrent sites are blocked by isp.Just change your dns server to google dns.

Go to settings 》 Wifi 》 Your Wifi Network(Tap and hold on it till a pop up occurs ) 》Modify Network 》 Show advanced options 》IP settings: Static 》DNS 1:8.8.8.8 Then go to DNS 2 AND TYPE 8.8.4.4.

Hello Guys i found a fix for data disconnection problem for all MIUI
Just extract copy and replace the attached file to system/lib then set the permissions(check all).

If Wifi did not connect automatically than use the static ip method and put those settings:
ip address :192.168.1.101
gateway: 192.168.1.1
netmask: 255.255.255.0
DNS1: 208.67.222.222
DNS2: 208.67.220.220
ANYONE CAN USE THIS FILE WITHOUT CREDIT ME CAUSE I AM NOT A DEV

It's a shame we can't have wifi working just as normal. I think I may prefer the signal reset app although not tried to it yet. Thanks though

Oh I got confused I thought you had to know the ip of each different access point!

Wifi is not working normal for me. It will only connect if i configure a static ip otherwise it just wont connect (obtaining ip address -> disconnected over and over again) the thing is im at uni with multiple computers using the wifi so i cant assign a static ip.. urrgg only real problem i have! :S

Try to set your ip to 192.168.1.172 for eg and test again.i know that it is impossible that all users have the same ip but it was a solution for now.if a good dev can rewrite this lib file then we will have data and wifi working together.
Anyway i am still searching and testing stuff and hope i can find a good news.
another solution is using 'wifi static' free from the market

It let's you configure different static wifi ip for each AP, and it switches automatically between them
Worked fine for me on any MIUI ROM, until I switched to thegoCM....

That's right, but you can connect on the first time with DHCP, and then the application can generate the ip, dns etc automatically

I think you have something wrong in the rom that you are using, cause 400 user download this file,and only you have this problem.so maybe try a fresh install for the rom without any restore and try again.

I have copied the file and replaced and set permission (ticks all), reboot. But wifi still can't connect (802.1x EAP).
I have downloaded wifi static, key in the settings shown, also can't connect.
Requirement- Latest UC Browser from Google's Play store.
We know that there are many file sharing sites like Mediafire, goo.im, depositfiles.com, upload.net etc. which provides files to download with no resume support and limit for maximum download speed or low download speed or we have to wait for some time to download the file.
Now I have found a trick with latest UC Browser to overcome all these problems.
Just download and install latest UC Browser and make an account or sign up in Udisk which is a cloud download facility by UC Browser. After creating an account just sign in into Udisk. Now whenever you download a new file from the sites like I mentioned above it will provide you two options-
1 Download
2 Cloud download
Now click on cloud download and it will open new window in UC cloud download service or Udisk. In Udisk cloud download facility there are two options. First one is 2GB permanent file storage option in which you can store files permanently up to 2GB whereas on the second option you can store files up to 4GB formally it was 8GB but it is temporary storage valid for only 7 days, after 7 days it will be deleted automatically also you can renew this file before it gets deleted.
After selecting storage type that is permanent or temporary UC cloud download facility will download file for you within some time[10-40 minutes]. And then you can download that file from cloud storage facility with a high download speed and resume support enabled.
You can also directly copy and paste the download link in UC Browser cloud storage facility.
You can download UC Browser from following sources:-

Mate it needs login authentication..
Link does not work in other browser..
And u cannot log in any other browser other than uc browser so this trick only works in uc browser..

Wait atleast 2 minutes
A message come on screen GPS fixed after xxxx sec.

I have tried this and it worked for me.
Download and place the GPS.CONF file in system/etc/
Rename the file to gps.conf
Let me know if it works for you, i am counting on this option since in MIUI rom you have access to advance GPS settings.

i used miui official rom on galaxy i9100 (4.1.2) . there is tabs in this rom -contacts and yellow pages (only for china)(tied to the contacts).. i can disable or delete this pages but the tab ramains and i want it diseapeared forever... which file must delete through this rom to solve this problem?

The way is installing other contacts app like: play google com/store/apps/details?id=com.jiubang.gopim (remove spaces between play and google, and google and com)

you may need to use rapidleech-web bro. theres a lot of site that providing rapidleecher. you may use google to know what is rapidleech and leeching i just suggest it. btw, did you download from rapidgator than terafile? i recommend you download it from rapidgator.

I guess your internet connection has a problem.
I downloaded the file from Sammy.. and it has no problem..
Flashed it on my i9200..
Flashed Philz recovery
used titanium bacup to remove the Knox apps..
Rooted phone
Went back to download mode..
knox 0x00
So, all looks good.
No great difference in this new India ROM, but yea.. using it as of now.
