It works fine I use it all the time. Make auee mhl adapter is plugged into USB power for it to work.

Why is it when i use mine the display on the tv screen is all distorted and flickers alot but on the phone screen it is fine????? I am using AOKP

I couldn't tell you, all over the adapters I got barely work it might be easier to just get the official samsung one

One is for the Mic.!
But the other one is for thread or a hand cuff or mobile holder... So that u can hang it to ur neck...& reducing the risk of phone getting forgotten stolen or dropping accidentally..!
