Hi, I was installing a ROM and I formated /system and rebooted but the ROM didn't work it repeatedly said process android sopped or something like that, so I rebooted to CWM recovery and was going to restore from my external SD card but there wasn't an option for that there was an option to restore from internal SD card but it said no files found so now i'm in cwm recovery and when I try to reboot the samsung logo appears and disapears constantly and nothing happens. The CWM recovery version is 6.0.4.4. I have the restore file on my PC. Is there any way I can send it to internal SD card? I can't access it even on my computer because the phone isn't fully booted. Please help me
My phone is Samsung Galaxy S2 and PC is Win8

Tried to replace one custom rom with another using CWM. But instead of formatting sd-ext (after formatting all else too obv), I formatted sd card. Now when I turn phone on I get "android" in the middle of the screen and nothing else happens obviously :S.
How should I proceed?
edit: figured out how to enter CWM again to flash a rom, but how do I put rom onto SD card as my computer doesnt recognise phone
edit2: figured it out! had to choose mount storage in CWM!

So here's the deal, I screwed up big time.
Bottom line, the SDcard is formatted and I can no longer get in the phone (stuck at the splash screen for King Kangers build).
I have a backup of the SDcard and a nandroid backup of the phone, but when I enter CWM, I cannot get the recovery to recognize the external SD card and I can no longer access the internal SD card.
Also, Samsung Kies no longer can access the phone either so I can't re-flash back to stock.
Help please??

Ok, I may have gotten lucky.
I reflashed the ODIN CWM recovery tar and then re-created the folder on the SD card for clockworkmod/backup/ and placed my backup files in there.
Now, I'm back in the CWM and recovery found the external SD card.
I'm in the process of restoring from backup, crossing fingers this all works.

hello, I just MAde a mistake . In recovery mode i flashed a rom then after flashing rom i wiped data and wiped partiton.
after rebooting the rom is stuck, so now i want to get back to stock but , i have not placed stock rom on internal sd card
and my recovery mode is showing internal sd card. so i am unable to copy stock rom into my internal sd card.
As my phone is unable to connect to pc. i tried odin but it did not work
( note: recovery mode is showing internal sd card ) Plz give me some suggestions

Assuming this is a Samsung phone, Odin would be your best bet, however as you've mentioned, Odin didn't work out. Your next choice in options would have to be going with ADB and pushing a zip to the phone since it has a internal SD that can't be mounted from recovery to your PC. Hope this gives you some insight.
I do not remember the adb commands to do so nor the sdcard mount point for your device. You'll have to look for these also.

Hi guys. A little help please. I can't seem to get my phone to see my internal SD card after repartioning my phone. Followed the instructions to the letter on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2538947. Everything went smoothly. And restored my nandroid backup of slimkat but now I can't get into my SD. Also, now my PC can't even see my phone. Windows keeps saying device is broken. Everything works except internal memory. I tried to mount SD in recovery with no luck. I remember there were SD mounting problems with kk so I also tried flashing slimbean 4.3 but also unsuccessful. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated....
Edit: after flashing, recovery says "unable to mount / 'emmc'". Also, after boot, I get a notification "Blank SD card- SD card is blank or has unsupported filesystem".
Problem solved! After hours of reading posts with nothing working I decided to try a cwm recovery kernel (I have been on twrp forever). I was able to mount the internal SD card with cwm! Flashed tarp back and flashed slimsaber and like magic everythings working again!!
i'm in neatrom and i do buckup to my phone by cwm v6.0.3.7 then i put the neatrom in ext-card not in sdcard (internal ) then the i turn to cwm and do wipe data ,wipa cach , wipe dalvik ,format system & preload to flash aosp neatrom but i find the cwm can't read the micro sd card (ext-card) just internal sd
after that i do restore by cwm but when done and reboot it's stuck in neatrom logo then screen go black the come logo again & again / so restoring field
i do wipe data cach dalvik after restore but no change in stuck loop just the neatrom logo turn to android logo

Seems like a corrupted backup. Did you install the proper drivers for your phone? I would suggest you to reflash neatrom( if you already have the zip file in your internal sd card). If your pc can't detect your phone, how are you supposed to put any files into your phone?
there is the last kies & drivers in my laptop and it can recognize my brother's galaxy s4
also the last flash zip file was from long time and i delete it
my pc can't detect my phone but before format i put aosp neatrom to ext-card by wireless by es explorer !

Ii had a version of neatrom on my device i forgot wich. But i think the ex-card has some errors couse i could mount exsdcard. I had the same problem with restore don.t know why. I suggest you take microsd card to pc and formaat fat32 before you recover your data. Put also o new recovery and a desire rom zip. And try again . if is not working try with other microsd card.
