I have stock 4.3 on my tmo HTC one and was wondering if somebody could please point me to the thread that has information on the most successful and easy root method. Any suggestions?

Just got my HTC One X+ a couple weeks ago and I've been looking to root the device. It's from AT&T though and as far as I have researched, the device right now can't be rooted? I am just making sure. Can it or can't it be rooted right now? Much appreciated!
Hail to all android users!!!

You'll want to read this.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1994961
There are a few other threads you'll want to read for reference. You should be able to find those. You can go through this process manually which takes a little longer but you'll learn more.
Make sure your flash the TWRP recovery to your AT&T phone. The CWM recovery will result in tears.

What is there to elaborate on? There is at the very least 5 or 6 kernels for this device either here or in the international forum

Now see that is what I was trying to get out of someone... I wasn't sure what other forums that I could look in. I have not performed the super cid and didn't know if I could go outside the at&t threads to find another one.

You don't need to change the cid for anything except flashing ruu's or firmwares

Decided to trade out my S4 mj7 for an HTC one. Simply can't stand the inability to flash custom recoveries/ROMs/tweaks. That being said I need to unroot my S4 but haven't been able to find a real how to on it. I would greatly appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction to do so. Thank you.

Did you try a full unroot from supersu? Also flashing the latest odin tar should make your phone seem like new.

Truthfully I was unaware that there was a full unroot option in supersu. I'll re-enable the apps I have frozen, remove root apps and try that. Thanks
