Hi all, tonight my Hero has bust! The bottom of the screen won't work so I understand its going to have to go back to T-Mobile as its a contract phone.
Its got a Modaco rom on it - do I need to flash it back to the original ROM?
if you're going to take it back, i'd flash it with a stock rom with no root. As im pretty sure that voids your warranty or something...
Flash it with the latest Tmobile update there is then.
Since they will expect their own branding on the phone.
I just got an update from t-mobile and now i'm wondering will if it is safe to root my phone? Is there a way to flash it back to the original settings?
Hi,
I rooted my Rogers Galaxy S and then I've install the Cognitation 2.4. Everything wet well, but now I need to roll back to the Rogers Version and I don't know how.
Can someone help me?
Thanks for all the good work
To start I am only rooted, not sure if I am going to unlock. Most likely I will do that tomorrow morning. Anyway, how would I go about updates, I saw Verizon came out with the 4.1.2 update for the phone but how would I go about getting it. Should I just unlock my phone and install a custom rom? If I do install a custom rom should it be a T-mobile rom since I am using there service or should I just install a Verizon custom rom since technically I am still using a Verizon phone. Any help would be great since I already messed up my phone this weekend and don't want to do that again. Thanks.
Hey guys, so I haven't really touched my M9 in a while, I'm still on a very old version of viper ROM (3.1.0) We recently switched services to T-mobile so I am giving this phone to my dad. I already had it SIM domestic unlocked to use on T-Mobile in the US and the SIM is reading and everything is working, but I want to just return it to stock software so he can receive updates on the phone via t-mobile OTA. If anyone can help point me in the right direction of what to do it would be greatly appreciated! I am trying to get it done tonight so I can give it to him tomorrow for Father's day, My phone is also S-off via sunshine if that helps.
