I tried it on stock rom bt hope it will work on jasp rom coz it iz also a stock based custom rom.

don't use custom rom now!! use stock rom for sometime!!
root your phone 1st do some basic mods then go for custom rom when u are bored with with stock!!

On the other hand, you have all the instructions in the CM7 thread. Don't be a f**** and read the install guide from there.

am saying him to try everything but not now!! cz most users f*** up their phones by trying stuffs when they are newbie so am telling him to try those stuffs after learning more abt Android & flashing
Edit: IMO i recommend u to use SPEEDMOD kernel or SIYAH kernel over stock cz speedmod is good in terms of speed & battery compared to stock & siyah is best in battery backup flashing kernel won't change UI & some kernel like speedmod won't support custom ROM's dunno abt siyah i think it supports custom too

U said about speedmod n other one,wheare can I get those n how can I update plz give me the links n also tell me if I don't like them can I revert back to thia original custom ROM....?? Plz rly,tanq

here's the link for speed mod use the stable kernel 16 am on v17 test-1 & that is perfectly fine
dunno abt siyah, i hink it has custom clock!!
i recommend u to use SPEEDMOD!!
u can make even stock kernel like custom upto certain limit if u are on XWKF3 temme i hv an mod for battery, auto color change to green in notif when connected to gtalk & CRT screen off!!
& i hv musicplayer.apk customised by me to look like itunes cz Samsung default album art looks cheap!!
i also have mod to use volume keys for camera
volume keys can & musicplayer.apk works on any firmware
u can freeze apps u don like with titanium backup i freezes game hub & readers
don't forget to take cam bakup
before flashing & this is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!
& take an cwm as soon as u root & copy it to pc !!

SpeedMOD can be used for any version cz its just a kernel !!
u can have different kernel, Modem & ROM in a phone (Mostly but i can be wrong read every line of mother post in a thread before flashing & read some user feedbacks too)
If I don't like speedmod ,can I revert back to my old look...?

Kernel wont change look of ur phone its just an intermediator between OS & hardware which decides speed & other hrdware properties !!
& about ur concern yes u can but u don need to go back to stock
BTW i flashed CheckROM & Siyah Kernel yesterday ll let u knw soon & if u wanna change ROM u can ask here !!

dear XDA community , i am looking for a good ROMs for my SGA (ACE) . i want the Fastest ROM , Xperia look alike . OverClock Ability and anything that good for my ace . and i also want to make my ACE to play the HD games and THD or Nvidia Tegra . xperiatized is just an xperia S themed rom
and is based on stock
gingercruzt is an normal xperia themed rom and based on cm7

why you dont associate with Infinity for the Gaming ROMs ? ahaha , Xperia Themes + fast/lightweight ROM = awsomeness
try hannimod its the best in speed and customization in 18 roms which i have tested

sir , i was clueless on how to find my Gallery and Music Player on Xperiatez . well that was frustuating situation you know LOL . whare is the Gallery and Music Player ?
gingercruzt if you want CM based and xperiatized for stock based, both are good.
Since the ace is not tegra or Nividia powered Chainfire is I think the only hope if it didnt work then nothing.

its cm 7.2 build giving 2260 benchmark score(without sd card read nd write benchmark ) with slaid mod fix, gps fix and lag free 3 fix used with 92 apps installed mostly on my sd card which is higher than any of the new roms available all of which i have tried on my SGA...........

@ mv_style because it can be done by using xperia theme zip nd using clockwork mod recovery>mount system >flashing the zip...... all easier with better results

my friend set CPU need customizable Karnel and till now there is no absolutely stable custom Karnel available for galaxy y. so not possible just wait and watch some dev. to make custom kernel than it WILL work.

your on XDA you shouldnt compare any ROM r KERNAL as it ll start fight between the developers
thr r 2 kernals KASH KERNAL and BLAZE KERNAL
so it s better you try both and go with wht suites you the most
every1s priorities are different :good:

saiyammorakhiya you are not breaking any rules and you can ask questions about which one is better but at last it comes to personal preference. Don't feel bad about asking this question. Another thing you should note is that if you are going to use a custom kernel do check that the ROM you have on your CHD is stock or custom rom whose base is A116 stock.

XDA's rules permits comparison and no the devs won't fight because they work as a community and share the patches with each other (for ex. the battery fix was shared) and most important of all they are grown-ups. If you think that they would fight over such a small thing there would be no XDA so you need your brains checked. Kernels and ROM's are compared all over XDA forums and is one way of many for devs to get feedbacks. So please stop telling what's right or wrong (for that XDA rules and mods are present) and answer what has been asked.

thnxx for your rply bro !! but nw m on custom kernel but it is not stable on my point of view so can anyone tell me how to revert back to stock kernel !! i have zip file of stock kernel and backup also but when i m going to flash it with recovery phone stucks on boot logo n restarting !! and again if i flash that custom kernel phone boots and work !! and yup i m on stock rom v 4.2.1

Flash the stock kernal zip and if it dosent help take a backup of ur data alone and do a factory reset and flash the stock kernal and try to restore ur backup :good:

Both are awesome but I like apna wala rom its smooth and have all the features I needed I m using apna wala rom now and btw droidwin lags . And u can also try miui dark themed rom that rom is also grt
