hello friends
after more then 2 weeks without my note 3 and using only Nokia N95 cause i have cracked my LCD and there no new one for N9005 in my country ...
so finally i suppose to get a new LCD today but i wanna be more safe cause i slide my Rollerblade and i have no phone now....
I have thought about otter-box but i want the white and they have it only in their store but shipping is 38 US $ ...
Is there any good protection other otter-box that u can recommend me ?
thanks !
UAG Case: http://www.amazon.com/URBAN-ARMOR-G...TF8&qid=1384756227&sr=8-3&keywords=UAG+note+3
Spigen Slim Armor: http://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Samsun...=1384756313&sr=1-1&keywords=slim+armor+note+3
SUPCASE: http://www.amazon.com/SUPCASE-Samsu...8&qid=1384756364&sr=1-18&keywords=case+note+3
For now, those seem to be the top 3 with minimal weight and good quality protection. UAG will always still be one of the best. I had it on my Note 2 and it protected very well.
Another vote for UAG, good mesh between form and function
I have the supcase and its nice and slim, but I wouldn't say it's the best protection. Corners are not that big and they're firm. If you want something really protective you probably want something with thick rubber corners such as this:

thanks my friends !
the things is that i want the front protection around the screen to be higher ...
i had same "height" in my old case and i have cracked the screen over the ground...
Otterbox is high then others ...
any more ideas please?
thanks
Ballistic Maxx is worth a look as well. My phone kind of flew out of my lap at a gas station. Bounced twice face down but when turned over not a scratch.

Then, go with the UAG. It has a lift closer to otterbox than the rest. I know UAG was the biggest competitor against otterbox for the Note 2 and other phones. Up to you. I think it's the best case for protection personally.
I also recommend you get a tempered glass screen protector like the Spigen Glas.tr. I have it and it's wonderful. Really a flawless screen protector. No scratches or fingerprints or smudges so far after a month. http://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Samsun...i-Chip/dp/B00DD5TWXK/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
thanks friends
about the SPIGEN, i see there are 2 kinds. one is 0.23 mm and one thinner...
what is better then ?
You will be fine with UAG + any Tempered glass screen protectors

I don't know which ones you're looking at. The glas.tr is .4mm and the glas.t is .26mm.
I like Otter because they have plugs for the USB and audio jacks. This is important if you spend time in dusty areas. A tight fitting case also helps here because dust can get between the case and your phone and it will mess up the finish!
If Otter releases the Armor for the Note 3 the choice for best protection would be obvious. I don't know if they plan on doing this or not. I would buy one because I'm a case junkie!
I use Case Mate Tough

Just got this one. Can cover the edges and not bulk!

Here...its a MAJOR GO!
Thats not me...
I've had the 9H for 2-3 months now and mine has started to lift a little. It started last week and stretches from the upper left hand corner to the edge of the glass directly above the Samsung S.
It's no better than a $7 one from ebay and their CS is far from impressive.
Try the MIME USA Feather Glass, rated 9H and .15mm thick. Mine has been on for a couple of months and still looks brand new.

Flossy Carter made a review of this on youtube if you want to check it out!
I used the MIME Ghost Glass on my S4 and was amazing so I bought it for the Note 3 and I'm loving it as well. Plus lifetime warranty. It ever breaks... It's half price to replace as many times as you need to.
Thing about those lifetime warranties is that you could buy at least 2 generic ebay ones for the price of one MIME replacement (or w/e brand).
Yeah but they are better. The cheap ones a lot of the time don't add the oleophobic coating they start to look bad in a short amount of time. My S4 looks today like it did it did when i put it on back in June.
ive been using the iloome one for over a month now and it gets scratched REAL easy. then again ive been trying to see just how scratch resistant it is by sliding it around on a smooth table face down. and yeah it scratches SO easy wow. i havent tried other ones but im sure they all do.

No problems. But I do use the magnetic accessory from a spigen that holds the cover closed. The cover was able to stay closed before I used this magnetic addition, however after prolonged use (being flipped open and folded over) it would have a tendency to not lay flat on the screen. This was always a tendency of the S view cover and not due to the glass screen protector.

May I ask which one you bought? I'm trying to decide between the Sparin or intelliGLASS HD. Both have decent reviews but I no nothing about either company.
I got the intelliglass one.. Its still solid no complaints
Sent from my SHIELD Tablet using Tapatalk
Go for the Intelliglass...
Easy to clean, looks beautiful, covers the entire screen (ambient sensor etc), and is always slippery lol (awesome oleophobic coating)
Thanks for the quick responses. I'll probably order the Intelliglass screen protector along with a case. Random question for you both: Do you have any random separation between the casing and the screen around the speaker grill? Mine had a very small one and I'm thinking of exchanging it
I have purchased the Sparin one, and it was fine but extremely difficult to put on correctly. The 9H hardness level means that it's going to be a bit brittle so you can't use the tape trick if you get dust under it.
I bought the Sparin one. As to a comment above...all tempered glass screen protectors are brittle. If you get dust trapped underneath, you must take great care to lift it without breaking it. I had to lift mine as I put it on a bit off center. I used a razor blade along an edge to lift it up and reapply it, with no issues. I have a review of it and an "Exact" brand case on this forum, with pics. Also, the Sparin does NOT have the cutout for the sensors. Even without the cutout, I've noticed no issues with the sensors not working. As to smoothness, I notice no difference between the naked glass and the now covered glass. As to sensitivity, I laid the cover on top of the screen while it still had the peel off protective layer on it, while it was still in it's protective foam envelope (was checking for rough size) and I still had no issues with the screen picking up my finger. Even though the 3 extra layers of material were basically opaque, i could still easily see stuff moving under my finger through all 3 layers with the screen set at max bright.
I have the Intelliarmor one installed and love it. Their oleophobic coating is the best of all the tgsp's I've tried on multiple devices. They're not the cheapest but their customer support is great though most sellers on amazon would gladly send a replacement even if you're the one who messed up the tgsp.
Hey guys finally ditched the samsung camp and got myself a Nexus 6 for relatively cheap here in the uk, xpansys selling for £250 with a free Google Chromecast.
Initially I was over come by the sheer size of this phone, and in now pretty worried that I'll drop it or "scuff" the soft touch case.
Anyone able to recommend a slimline but smart looking case & screen protector that doesn't take away from its looks? Thanks guys.

Best I've found over the past year:
http://www.amazon.com/Ringke-Essential-Protector-Scratch-Resistant-Protective/dp/B00O152P7G
The SF Black has a nice soft touch to it and it comes with a screen protector. I'm sure there are better protectors on the market but for an all in one package it's tough to beat. Only gripe is that I wish it had the Moto dimple cut out. That would make it perfect for me.
Third one looks good ?.

just run mine naked - love the looks of the phone
The incipio dual pro fits this beast well and has a nice grippy feel to it
I'm using Nillkin Frosted Shield case. Really slim and gripped so it's not slips from the hand. I don't really know if it's protects from dropping, but I don't really care about it because I'm really careful with my devices and I have tempered glass on it.
I got two different ones and use them both (not at the same time) depending on the need for the day.
The first one is really nice/inexpensive and since I got clear it doesn't affect my original color choice for the phone (which is white). It came with a free screen protector but despite rather significant experience at applying protectors this one didn't go so good so I removed it and now I'm just going without, but that's mostly because I use the second case most of the time.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00SX1NNJI/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The second one is a larger pouch case and it's my favorite because it allows me to keep the phone naked so it will fit in the Proclip custom mount in my truck. I can still easily hear alarms, notifications, etc with the phone in this case. It protects the screen and the whole phone very well. It's a little pricey but really good quality/construction. My phone is in this case like 99% of the time.

The OP was looking for a slimline case. That's the total opposite, probably the biggest case you can get for the N6. The Ringke Fusion is probably the one the OP wants. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ringke-FUSI...hash=item3aad336132:m:mm5wuDQt5cp30pfU-E1_3cQ

I see that the holster for this case is a snap in holster and not a slide in. Does the holster allow for the phone to be attached screen out?
today I got my level 5 performance series case from Incipio today.
Anyways so far I like the case a lot compared to my Otterbox Defender. The case is very durable but thinner and more sleek than the Defender. The holster is top notch and premium as well granted I never use the holsters with my cases but some might like it.
The built in screen protector also fits very tight to the screen too and the home button on the bottom of the protector has a plastic frame all around it but doesn't affect using the finger print scanner. It looks like less dust will get under this due to it being tighter and really no gaps near the home screen for dirt to get under.
The only downside to the built in protector like the Otterbox Defender it's not very clear. granted it is a lot more responsive than the Defender though and has no rainbow effect. Not impressed by the clarity but not really much out there right now to protect the screen.
Only other downside I see is the speaker volume is a little softer due to the protector covering it.
Overall I say this is a great case. However you might want to look at the Level 4 because Amazon has the white case for about 31 bucks if you want to use your own tempered glass and not have a built in protector because otherwise the level 4 is almost the same thickness as the level 5 but maybe with a bit less of a raised edge around the screen.

i wouldn't say a hard plastic but more of a soft, matte finish.
I really dig the case except the built in screen protector sucks just like the otterbox defenders does. This one might be worse but it is far more responsive and tight to the screen.
If there would have been good tempered glass protectors out there I would have simply bought the level 4 case which doesn't have the built in protector and is only 27 bucks now on amazon.
Just wanted to bump the thread. Got this case today and it is really good. The white and black are on sale for $25 at Walmart and Amazon. I agree that the screen protector is responsive but the clarity is horrible. I don't care as much about screen protection so I just popped the screen protector off the front cover - solves that problem. I can always add a screen protector directly to the screen later on. The feel of the case is very good in hand and is the best "protective" case I've tried for the S7, better than the Poetic and Supcase ones, at least.
I highly recommend this case especially at $25.

The other issue I don't like is the audio is muffled due to that section being covered. When using my Otterbox or Supcase the audio is a lot louder than the Incipio.
I saw Amazon knocked the price down. Otherwise I'd say order the level 4 protector from Amazon if you don't want the screen protector then. Still rated for 13ft drop (I never trust drop ratings) and is cheaper than level 5. On the level 4 the audio sounds louder too. I'm guessing because it doesn't have port covers or a screen protector more sound can escape through the case. I might just go back to my level 4 vs the Otterbox Defender since I keep getting dirt under the screen and go naked on teh screen.

I ordered a devil case with extra buttons last month and still waiting for them to ship it.

Yeah shipping can take quite a while, took about 2 weeks for me from Taiwan to the UK.

Is anyone using a case with a screen protector in one? Like the SCTH70 for XZ3.
I'm deadly afraid of scratching my screen with my keys or dropping it or whatever, so need something to protect the screen as well.
I've bought spigen clear hybrid case and spigen glass.
Disliked both
The case protect well but it's simply too bulky imho and ruin phone look.
The glass is good, it doesn't eat screen space like lot of cheap glass but i simply don't like glass with black border (i like full clear glass), but after a few days of use it the tempered glass simply lost a little piece on the black part.
I simply removed the glass protector and bought the slimmest cheap cover on amazon (ELYCO COVER) and i like it very much. Super slim with a little more protection for camera.
Probably this cover with became yellow very fast, but i can deal with that.
I purchase the gor protector, has a perfect fit.

I just got these cheap glass screen protectors from Amazon, it has some sketchy reviews, but it was cheap. it actually worked out really well and I don't have any areas that aren't adhered. It just took some time to align it up. Take your time. Well worth the $7.

Hello
i own the Spigen Rugged Armor and okay it's a good case with protection but just a little bit bulky.
I want a slim case (not the aramid one)
Does anyone use his device with a slim case with a good fitting?

I bought Elyco cover off amazon. It's not a good brand but is ultraslim and with a little camera protection and fit the phone perfectly. If you smoke btw expect the cover to became yellow very fast XD
The Spigen cover made for older xperia and iphone are way better then the one for Xperia 1 III (i also bought the same you are using but it's too bulky for me)
I got both Spigen, Devilcase and GOR.
GOR case for slim feeling on hands.
Spigen is the greatest clear case but it will get old colour after a few mounth.
Devilcase has better protection with the same phone colour on border. The shutter button of this case very bad but luckily I found the way to get the naked feeling.
isnt the button supose to be double press to take photos.
Im guessing he has never used a real camera before. that behavior is normal. And also your before and after video does not show any difference between before and after. It looks the same, though the after video looks worse as it made the button less sensitive to pressing and can't tell the difference between focusing and taking a picture.
