alright I have only tested this on the MI3 firmware, but I have tested it on rooted and stock and both worked. I have sucessfully gotten the MSL without sprint and I also changed it to 000000. Ok so here are the instructions....
MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW STEPS VERY CAREFULLY, BECAUSE THEY WORK IF YOU DO EXACTLY AS I DO, I HAVE TESTED ON 3 DIFFERENT NOTE 3 NOW AND IT WORKED ON ALL 3 OF THEM.
Ok so first make sure usb debugging is on and unknown sources and that your using the newest adb out and that you have adb access.
next make sure you are on mtp+adb, I havent been able to get it working if diag is enabled so dont enable it.
ok now open the file GETMSL.bat, and its going to run a logcat in the background thats fineas long as its running thats all you need.
VERY IMPORTANT, if you dont do this exactly it wont work ok.
DIAL ##3424# not ##3282# only ##3424# will work, and then click edit or enter msl and then MAKE SURE you put 123456 as the password. Nothing else works that I have tried so it has to be 123456 and then click ok.
Its going to give you a bad spc error, thats fine press back till your at the home screen and sit and wait for 5 seconds. After that unplug your cable from the phone and read the command prompt for your msl. THIS WORKS but you have to follow exactly.

for most people on MI3 ##3424# does require msl, and im not sure if it works on other builds, give it a try and let me know, I have only had mine to do this too and there might be other steps that are required to do this let me know if it doesnt work and ill post other steps
Ran on my phone and couldn't find the msl line. Msl checker is on there though.

alright well i hope you have root cause you will need it now if you pull your /data/system/packages.xml and send it to me (just use adb pull /data/system/packages.xml if it gives you a permission error then do adb remount first, of that doesnt work then download this apk here and browse to the location and copy it to your sd card and then send it and Ill edit the files necassary to get your msl to show up.
I am rooted yes. Could also just let me know what lines to change.

1. enable USB debug
2. connect phone with the pc , it will ask you for permission. click on check box & Ok.
3. run the cmd "adb devices" it will show you (see screenshot)
List of devices attached
0f3ab02x device
if not(offline) pl update your adb tool. search on Google "latest adb for 4.3 or 4.2.2 android".
4. Copy GETMSL.bat into adb folder & run
5. Dial ##3424# enter 123456
6. cmd will not show you any output.
7. goto adb folder & open logcat.txt file (dnt close cmd)
8. search "I/MSL_Checker" press enter 4-5 times & you'll get the MSL code.(see screenshot)

In my search for a solution to disabling CABL on this phone, I wanted to take a look into all the LG hidden tests/settings. As the Verizon variant doesn't have this apk, I took it from an AT&T build, deodexed it and it seems to run fine on the VS980. I haven't been able to launch it from the dialer, but using the below will get you there. If you don't know what these tests or settings do, then you're better off leaving them alone, as there is the potential to mess something up.

yeah i haven't ever had my phone get so hot that the thermal controls limit my screne brightness..my GS4 did all the time, though.

No, it needs to be installed as a system app. As for the dialer code, it won't work because the corresponding broadcast intent wasn't built in the vzw ROM. If I have some free time I could do that, but it really is easy to launch it via command I listed above.

Well, i struggled for half a day relentlessly and finally got Reaver Working on my Xiaomi Mi4 android phone with a big help from the below mentioned link , everything is going good and fine, i got the Reaver app working on my Rooted app without bcmon and it worked and i'm ready to hack the network but just as i bypassed "Test Monitor" successfully(by loading a few scripts and debugging) and hit "Start Attack" this thing showed up, below i've written down the issue as it appeared since i'm not allowed to post screenshots & Links untill i make 10 posts(i'm a new user) and the scripts that i used to bypass Test Monitor are attached below, i'm basically a noob but good at technical things, the guide mentioned in the below link isn't as easy as it is told there, there are a few more steps that aren't added in the guide!!

keep it open for 5s and then press home.
(This will surely create a com.bcmon.bcmon folder in/Data/data)
7.Open root explorer and browse to the bcmon apk.
8.Select it and press view.
9.Open assets.
10.Copy all the files to /Data/data/com.bcmon.bcmon/files.
#If any file or folder of the same name is found then delete it#
/Now you’ll have to add custom scripts that I have given below(just copy them in a note editor and save with a .sh extension)
Start script-
Start script- mentioned above in custom start script
Warm script- mentioned above in custom warm up script
Stop script- mentioned above in custom stop script
#Now open root explorer
Browse to com.bcmon.bcmon/files/tools/reaver
Long press on it and press permissions and then check the execute boxes(all 3).now click OK.
Now in tools long press enable_bcmon and give it execute rights (all 3).now click OK .
#All set….now open reaver and scan for networks press on one with green color and with a good range.
Go to settings and monitor mode setting and unchek the use bcmon and load all the scripts properly.
#while loading scripts start.sh is the activation script,warm.sh is the warm up script and stop.sh is the stop script. #
Now scroll down and check the debugging mode.
#Go back to the attack screen and press test monitor mode.
Rfasuccess comes then press OK and press start attack.
#All done,now wait until it finds the routers key for you.
#This worked on my I ball slide 6318i,Alcatel ot 918n and redmi note.

The person who posted this method is my frnd on FB , whenever I tried to connect he ignored my text.
Stucked at the same..
So I was having the same error as the couple people above me, but I was able to get Reaver to recognize where my files were. I moved it off of the SD card to: /data/data/com.bcmon.bcmon
Then I manually typed in the location path of my .sh files:
/data/data/com.bcmon.bcmon/start.sh
/data/data/com.bcmon.bcmon/warm.sh
/data/data/com.bcmon.bcmon/stop.sh
Obviously you'll want to put in whatever you named those files there.
So I've gotten past that hurtle. I am however stuck with this new set of errors now, although it will allow me to progress to "start attack".
I'm new so the site is preventing me from posting these links normally but here are the two errors I'm getting:

Your scripts shebang points to /bin/bash you could try changing to #!/system/bin/sh which should hopefully solve the sh not found error. More recent android versions force pie executables as a tool to help lower hack risks, the option there is to try to bypass pie systemwide or get a pie executable. Libcap error is due to the file not being present I'm not sure if your app is supposed to include it but it's not a standard android library.

Well, i struggled for half a day relentlessly and finally got Reaver Working on my Xiaomi Mi4 android phone with a big help from the below mentioned link , everything is going good and fine, i got the Reaver app working on my Rooted app without bcmon and it worked and i'm ready to hack the network but just as i bypassed "Test Monitor" successfully(by loading a few scripts and debugging) and hit "Start Attack" this thing showed up, below i've written down the issue as it appeared since i'm not allowed to post screenshots & Links untill i make 10 posts(i'm a new user) and the scripts that i used to bypass Test Monitor are attached below, i'm basically a noob but good at technical things, the guide mentioned in the below link isn't as easy as it is told there, there are a few more steps that aren't added in the guide!!

These are the Steps i followed to get the monitoring mode done.
1.Download bcmon- (link)
2.Save the app on your sdcard but don’t install it.
3.download Reaver apk(RFA) and install it.- (link)
4.Download root explorer by speed speed software and install it.- (link)
6.Install and open bcmon app
keep it open for 5s and then press home.
(This will surely create a com.bcmon.bcmon folder in/Data/data)
7.Open root explorer and browse to the bcmon apk.
8.Select it and press view.
9.Open assets.
10.Copy all the files to /Data/data/com.bcmon.bcmon/files.
#If any file or folder of the same name is found then delete it#
/Now you’ll have to add custom scripts that I have given below(just copy them in a note editor and save with a .sh extension)
Start script-

Warm script- mentioned above in custom warm up script
Stop script- mentioned above in custom stop script
#Now open root explorer
Browse to com.bcmon.bcmon/files/tools/reaver
Long press on it and press permissions and then check the execute boxes(all 3).now click OK.
Now in tools long press enable_bcmon and give it execute rights (all 3).now click OK .
#All set….now open reaver and scan for networks press on one with green color and with a good range.
Go to settings and monitor mode setting and unchek the use bcmon and load all the scripts properly.
#while loading scripts start.sh is the activation script,warm.sh is the warm up script and stop.sh is the stop script. #
Now scroll down and check the debugging mode.
#Go back to the attack screen and press test monitor mode.
Rfasuccess comes then press OK and press start attack.
#All done,now wait until it finds the routers key for you.
#This worked on my I ball slide 6318i,Alcatel ot 918n and redmi note.

So I was having the same error as the couple people above me, but I was able to get Reaver to recognize where my files were. I moved it off of the SD card to: /data/data/com.bcmon.bcmon
Then I manually typed in the location path of my .sh files:
/data/data/com.bcmon.bcmon/start.sh
/data/data/com.bcmon.bcmon/warm.sh
/data/data/com.bcmon.bcmon/stop.sh
Obviously you'll want to put in whatever you named those files there.
So I've gotten past that hurtle. I am however stuck with this new set of errors now, although it will allow me to progress to "start attack".
I'm new so the site is preventing me from posting these links normally but here are the two errors I'm getting:

Could anyone tell me how to copy bcmon assets files from sd card to data, because all the options says is extract.

Possible Fix for libcap.so.1 problem
By moving "libcap.so.1", "libsqlite3.so.0" from "/data/data/com.bcmon.bcmon/files/libs" to "/system/lib" and setting the wifi-interface in the "Monitor-Mode settings" to "wlan0". I was able to solve the "libcap.so.1" error.
Straight afterwards, I got the "<stdin>[3] : not found" error.
By changing the "start.sh" script from :

I was able to pass the "<stdin>[3] : not found" error but now it is stuck on "Waiting for beacon from <Mac Address here>".
I've tried multiple router and waited around 15 minutes on that screen for each router with my phone next to them but it will not get pass that line.
Galaxy s3 i9300 here.
script errors
start.sh, warm.sh and stop.sh are not functioning properly, I am stuck at the same stage as you are and a can't even run the scripts on the terminal emulator.
I have tried granting permissions to the scripts but is is giving errors, if you enable "debug mode", you will see that not even one command is being issued without errors.

How do I fix the PIE problem? I'm using a Moto E LTE Surnia with CM13.
I cant copy files from extracted folder/asset folder of "bcmon" from any root explorer even from premium root explorer by speedspeed software. Please help me with this. Thank you in advance.

It not allowed to also upload version 6.0 for retail and still has not left the AT & T version.

1. Charge phone up to 100%, keep charger connected.and make sure you insert a correct working sim card.
2. Start the phone, connect to WiFi, get to the last screen (input Google email) and press on text input and
open Google keyboard settings (long press @ on bottom left).
3. press Google keyboard settings, and select Languages, Deselect `use system language` and scroll down to activate
Vietnamese.
4. Go back to the screen whereby the phone is asking for your email address, pop up the keyboard and
press and hold the Globe symbol near the `@` a tab will pop out showing `Change keyboard` ,select `Google voice typing`
5. you will see a keyboard emoji at your down right, click on it and select choose keyboards,after that activate
`Google pinyin input and iwnn IME` go back and press and hold `@` key and select google keyboard settings and choose Text
correction
6. choose personal dictionary and tap on `for all languge` click on the magnifier glass,type `C` scroll down and select
Google pinyin input and select the same option,select about and click open source licenses,select a text and click on
the share option and choose messaging
Send the composed message to emergency number 112
7. Press the phone icon that just appeared on the top right part of the screen
8. Delete 112 from number selection and input *#*#4636#*#*

Same problem over here, the one issue is no one wants to even help Android 5.1 or older users seems everyone has gotten spolied
In CN version you can active the app list in the watch, if you have not already enabled "Launcher App List", go to "More Settings" -> "About" -> Keep clicking legal information till you see countdown to zero. Once that is done, you will have the Lab link below. Click on Lab and select "Launcher AppList". This will restart your Launcher. Now go to the Right most app from your watch face, you will see the Launcher.
This method allows you to activate the app list also on the American versions so as to use the third-party app!
Connect the watch to your computer via USB and access via ADB (install ADB Drivers as needed)
Open command prompt or shell
Enter the commands :

> /sdcard/launcher_config.ini
am force-stop com.huami.watch.launcher
After Launcher restart you can go to the Right most app from your watch face and you will see the App List.
Thank you very much! US firmware 1.3.1, this did work. I was able to install and use AmazfitCNTimer.apk without installing Chinese firmware.

BUT IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT ALL APPS WILL WORK.
It's only the app starter.

Hello there. I was using this metod on last 1.3.2b update and it was working.
Now i've received 1.3.3a, that should have app list by default.
But it desapparead from the watch, and also using this method, i have no more app list.
any idea?

Got no errors, but got no file in C:\temp.

Search for the item TRANSACTION_setSimPowerStateForSlot. Note the = x after it; this is the index number.
Now you have the index number you can test the following command in adb shell (or Tasker, with the "run shell" function). You will need to "su" in shell, or set Tasker to "Use Root".

x = index number you fetched previously,
y = your subscription ID (generally, SIM1 = 0, SIM2 = 1)

Of course, now that you can execute it in Tasker you can now switch either SIM off at specific times.
I've verified that it does indeed switch the SIM off (calls go straight to voicemail right after this command is executed) but I'm unsure of any further effects this switch has.
