well m using cyanogenmod nowdays, but i had a nandroid backup of my stock firmware, so extracted from the backup.

I have been in the android development section for so many time and I cant make a post or reply there because I have to post at least 10 replies in the General section.
Anyway , I dont know whether this question is in the right section or not , But the admins can kindly take care of that.
THE QUESTION :I have been using customs roms posted by developers in the android development section for so long and I know how to edit them after downloading but can anyone tell me how to remove sound mods like Xsinfinity or any other sound mod from the rom? See sometimes i like the whole rom and the music players but what spoils it to me is messing with the sound levels .. so is there a way to remove them ?

The mod most probably replaces the system sound files... So in order to revert back you'll need to restore the backup... Or flash the original sound conf files in cmw..

I think it's much better to reflash the original Rom than to search and replace individual files... Hmm. .. You can backup your apps and contacts... I did the same when sound mod messed up with system files and disabled xloud....

Alright, that was helpful
1)Download Xs-infinity sound mod
2)Unzip (or just open the file) and look for same files in the rom
3)Delete exceeding files (the ones that don't have a correspondant in the same destination)
4) Replace file with same name (sound.lib etc) using ones from a stock or other custom rom
5) ???
6) Mod deleted

Just re flash your Rom. Then it replaced original files.
Guys .. The rom already has this sound mod .. So flashing it again wont do me any good .. Unless u mean that i reflash the stock rom but whats the point then i'll lose the custom rom .. It seems like theres no solution but deleting the files.
The only solution is the one i posted.
If you want you can make a script that will do it using adb shell rm cmd but not many other solutions than this..

the prob is : i want my pictures back ! and i have no idea how to restore ONLY those , if the backup even backed these up .
please help me .. what should i do ? :crying:

What pictures do u refer? Nandroid backup only save all to ur system works dont inclued /sdcard

Deodex the bubuanh1 and am working the error and save the audio not saved!

I flashed it I got all the features but after that when ever I receive a call it shows only contact number not the name.

I installed viper4fx it worked great... But I'm getting problems on call.. I cannot hear sound and also my mic is dead.... Everything is perfect except the calls....

Reflash the rom you are using, and flash root again. You wont lose anything. It will be same device when you boot the phone.
Hello guys i have rooted Nokia 8 TA-1004 i need stock camera with oreo update if anyone can help me give me the base apk from his phone (rooted phone ) i accidentally replaced it with plus camera when tried to install it .
You can find the stock camera in root directory (/data/app ) then nokia camera
if you couldnt find it you can search in /data/app-private or /system/app/ .
i would appreciated if someone upload it for me .:angel:

sorry buddy as i mentioned above those programs not working fine with my model i need original apk inside rooted phone (those app's having bugs with hdr or flash on or freezing )

This is the latest stock camera from HMD , I did install it over my stock and it worked but if you are looking for the modded ones that's a different story

well you need bootloader unlock and for that there was a topic about that but for now closed ,hence u cant do it for free unless u pay for it
