Hello. I am running the stock T-mobile 4.3 Rom and I am wanting to be able to see the time that my alarm is set for to show up on my lock screen. Is there any way to add this feature? Thanks.

Mine does that. I think it only shows if your phone is locked with some sort of security. I have the pattern lock enabled on mine and it shows that as well as the battery percentage as it's charging.

Do you mean alarms, or the upcoming appointments from the calendar? The appointments will show up if the "Productivity" lock screen is selected. I personally never use the alarm function - I set all my alarms via reminders in the calendar.
Yea I mean the alarm. I have some daily alarms set and it would be nice to see the next alarm time on the lockscreen.

So what can I do to replace my lockscreen? I'd like something like WhisperCore which forces me to wipe away my fingerprints in order to unlock so that others can't unlock my phone by looking at the smudges. Is there anything like that out there?
I'll just leave this humongous thread here:

Wow that is a hell of a lot of lockscreens but I'm looking for a specific feature which they all seem to lack. With whispercore (for the nexus) you have a feature called sumdge-resistant screen unlock patterns. So you draw out your pattern as normal but instead of simply unlocking you are brought to another screen with stars all over the screen. You wipe your finger up and down the screen to highlight the stars. Once they are all highlighted your phone unlocks and you've successfully wiped away your the smudges from your pattern. Honestly if I'm not forced to do this then I'll probably forget.

Yeah I read about that lockscreen on these forums. It was the reason I decided to ask.

Anyone know of a lockscreen or widget that will allow me to control my Google Music app without having to slide unlock the phone. I see that the photon allows you to do this with the stock music app but not with the Google music app. Much thanks.

Agile lockscreen lets you select the music app to use as lockscreen control
I'm a fan of no lock.

Widget locker does that, and more its what I choice to use
has anyone explained yet how to replace the lock screen via root to the aosp rotary one? I am interested in completely replacing the blur lockscreen
Using Widgetlocker and the darn stock Motorola lockscreen keeps popping up from time to time. Anyone know how to disable it or freeze it in TB to keep it from coming up? Very annoying to have 2 lock screens to mess with.
Anyone else where the orginal weahter widget is not refreshing automatically? I've put it to 1 hour, and 3 hours, doesn't make any difference. Always have to refresh manually.
Same here

No just with the original Samsung Widget, realy wierd that the Stock Weather Widget doesn't automatically refresh. Hope they are going to correct it in software update.
I have the latest software and the same problem, anyone found a solution?
Officially it's not automatically updated , wither you have to press the "refresh" button or enter into the widget and " shake" mobile if shake-update criteria is enabled from options menu .
Hello all,
Don't know if this has been asked before!
I have a custom JB ROM (myONRdx+ RC 1.0). Whatsapp notifications in the notification area (after pulling it down) shows the message, I also have this thing in an email application "[email protected] mail" where it shows almost the whole email. Is there a way to disable this?
Thank you.

If you drag it down with 2 fingers it expands if you pull it up with 2 finger it hides the message !

Is it the power saver notification removed ? This usually the situation when the feature is disabled.

Yes, i removed it using an app from play store. But i installed widgetsoid and added a notification power widget. Now it seems it's working just like ICS.
*****EDIT*****
Yes, it is Widgetsoid notification power toggles that made it one line (collapsed and not expanded).
Thank you guys for the useful info

A quick icon set to be as oem as possible but put my own little twist on. These can be used for anything however i use them for the free app Notification Toggles which i love. Here are some pics of some icons i made more on request and a pic of how it looks on my device....
Some toggles have more then one to choose from. Also some toggles dont use an on and off switch because they will just open something. If anyone wants to use these and needs a different toggle icon to match i will make no problem
5/27/13 Added Gps on/off, Alternate Brightness Toggle, Screen Rotate Toggle, Camera Flash On/Off
Also I removed the Off images to show new icons however they are all in the zip
More to come today or tomorrow
Will work for stock users?
How did you get the notification bar settings?

i used an app from the store called Notification Toggles it gives you the option to pick icons from for sd card. I made these toggle icons because those are the 5 togles i use. However if anyone uses diff toggles and likes this icon set i can gladly make new ones..
Can you make icons for screen rotation, led flash and gps? Would really appreciate it.

I have upgraded from a Nexus 4 to a S5.My home screen has the default weather app, which takes up half the screen almost!
Do you keep the default weather app that comes with the S5 or do you recommend something else?
Also, any recommendations on what to use for an alarm clock? I used the default alarm clock on my Nexus 4 before.
Thanks,
Jon

The original weather widget can be made transparent at 100%. I'm using the default alarm clock and I'm completely satisfied with.

Check out this thread for the mod weather: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2766014
I always debate this myself. You can make the widget transparent is settings, but I also like the background changing with the weather.
I'm currently using Nova launcher so I have no choice, but Beautiful Widgets has excellent options. I'll go back to TouchWiz launcher eventually, just feels like Nova is missing something that stock offers. Can't put a finger on it tho
