On what os and device?
All popular custom kernels have oc capabilities, Rage, Krsh, M.E.S.A and also kernel panic i believe.
Usa any of those (or the one suggested in the rom ur using) and then use a program like setcpu or no frills cpu to change values.
kernel panic is very good

I'm using cm9.1 n when I use rage kernel... it often automatically reboots n hangs my device.. and also drains my device battery very fast..so tell me which is the best kernel . ..with over clocking n good battery back up....

It deppends on you. Almost all kernels support overclocking. Rage Kernel, Mesa, Extended Stock. They all are good and have they own tweaks
You cannot use any other kernel when using Cyanogenmod Rom except the kernel supplied with it because Cyanogenmod kernel and Rom and very much dependent on each other . The ramdisk of cyanogenmod kernel is unique and can only work properly when it is used with a Cyanogenmod Rom . If you want to use other custom kernels then use some other custom Rom .

- Added Governors for more options
- Added I/O Schedulers for more options

[Q] What Is Best Kernel For My Device?

Hello Everyone
My name is Mohaned
I've got the budget mobile Vodafone 858 mart ( Huawei U8160) with CyanogenMod 7.2.0 RC1 Flashed with the latest Gapps package.
I Have Clockworkmod Recovery 5 Official Installed
I've got the stock CM7 kernel installed
I tried SIO,CFQ,NOOP,DEADLINE...etc. schedulers with InteractiveX Governor, Min cpu : 480 and Max CPU : 710
I tried all schedulers but all crash
Then I tried all governors with NOOP and CFQ with Min CPU : 480 and Max CPU : 710 but still crashed
So I was wondering if there was a custom kernel for my device? and where to find it? Would really appreciate link to download and way of installing
And another question : What Should My Overclock Settings Be Based On?
Sorry I'm little noob :$ but Noobs Learn Everyday

Well, I know nothing about sdcard emulation. Can you provide more information or a link about that? I have an optimus black with cm installed on it. It will be great if you can point out the location related to sdcard emulation on a cm rom.

Its not that fast but its smooth ..needs more optimization ..
A great result for the fans of tests.
Is the gpu undervolted? if not you could set 110.0 mV for 384mhz and 90.0 mV for 192mhz.
Should be safe and battery saving.

There is actually another temporary method to shutdown the bluetooth process. Just turn on the airplane mode and turn it off.
I have forgotten this bug. Will try to solve it as soon as possible.
