I have a couple of these and have a problem with GPS on both.
The problem is that the GPS will not find/lock on to any satellites - continually 'searching for location'.
Has anyone any experience of this issue on these clones, or better still, does anyone know any solutions to fix the problem.

I've recently bought a new chinese android 4.2 mobile phone and I'me having problems with it's GPS.
I've read a lot of threads and managed to get GPS signle but my problem is that it's not acurate and seems to have a deviation of about a hundred meters from time to time.
I'm on a main road but it seems to show me that I'm off the main road
I've installed GPS fix and several other apps but nothing helped.
Any suggestions?

Hi after looking far and wide and trying just about every fix I can find for my Zopo C2 Platium 16gb, phone, I am at a loss and don't know what to do other than forget the phone as far as GPS is concerned. I know there is some very clever guys on here and was wondering if anyone could help out here, thanks.

Hi all. I have just received an iNew V8... seems to be a great phone. Only thing I'm having trouble with is getting a GPS lock. The phone supports AGPS but not EPO. Sits there forever with 0/12 satellites...
Anyone else with one of these like to share their GPS experience?

The iNew V8 I've played with does not have problems with its GPS. It locks rather quickly. Are you by chance trying to GPS lock while indoors?
I solved the problem. The GPS antenna seems to be the one at lower left when the phone back is off. There is a ribbon extension that passes through to the circuits underneath. I pressed down on that and made sure the ribbon was pushed well into the gap, assuming a connector beneath. Whatever I did cured the problem as it began working well and hasn't missed a beat since.

Hello guys, has anyone been able to update their V8+ to Lollipop or Marshmallow. I have tried porting countless times but failed, maybe I was doing something wrong.

I´ve recently bought a Galaxy S6 Edge (G925F)and I am very shocked by its very bad GPS reception. I tried using FasterGPS and set a nearby NTP server (i.e. north america) and also to download aGPS data, to no avail.
Actually, the GPS is able to fix in quite a short amount of time but then, for some strange reason, it is unable to maintain the GPS fix!
I noticed that if change the Location Method from "GPS, Wifi and mobile", to "GPS" only, the drop seems to be less disruptive - instead of putting me in the middle of the ocean, the maps seems to block for a couple of seconds.
I started to think that it was software issue, but changing firmware version or kernel did not help it at all. This is very unfortunate because this is really not acceptable GPS quality for a phone this costly and otherwise awesome.
Using stock firmware: COH2 (XEU). Rooted and using kernel from Alex-V (v1.3)
Anyone else having this issue?? Any ideas on how to solve it?
P.S: I thought of returning it ... but I already rooted it and love the phone

I've got some problems with the gps, it finds about 21 sattelites but doesn't connect to 1. I know MTK isn't that strong on GPS but anyone faced the same problem and what can we do to prevent it?
