I have had an issue on 3 different ROMS with getting a network error when attempting to access Google Now. I have tried everything with the phone and the ROM and I have found out it is something with my google account. I signed in with another account and it is working perfectly. Any ideas? No 2 step verification and I havent opted out of ads and I have tried clearing the Google Search cache
Thanks

So I have a Thunderbolt running Protekk's latest CM7 build. I tried updating some apps but nothing was happening. I would get an error message saying "<app name> could not be downloaded due to an error." When I try downloading an app from market.android.com the app downloads and installs just fine. I then tried logging into a spare Google account on my Thunderbolt and I was able to download apps with no problem either.
I've tried wiping and installing different ROMs but no dice. My main Google account seems to be broken. Anyone have any idea of how to fix this?
okay so i flashed speed rom 7.8 and it was working well, i did a full wipe and flashed the new 8.0 but i keep getting a google sign-in error anytime i use the google now, and a few of my google apps wont work, they either force close or give me an "unable to connect to google servers". which is weird because play store works... i tried a few other roms but they all keep giving me the same error
Solution:
flashed 7.8 signed into google and then wiped everything BUT DATA then flashed the rom that was giving me the sign-in error (fixed it because my account data was still there after flashing the new rom)
First, I am running SlimBean 7.1 for a while without any problem. In the past, I had a few times of unable to log on google appstore, but a few times of clearing data or resetting apps preference would fix it.
Today, it happens again and no matter how I tried to reset apps preference, clear google playstore data and reboot the phone; it does not let me log on.
Then, I tried to delete all the google accounts and resign in again . Now, it does not let me sign in the accounts ( these accounts work fine with different phones ) under any apps such as thru main system account add-on , youtube, gmail.
The message is " cant establish reliable connection .... your android device may not be provisioned for data services.... "
I also tried to disable wifi, using 3G, or even reflash gapps .. no luck so far . Any thought ? TIA
Hey guys,
So after exhausting all my ideas, can anyone offer help for my current problem?
I own an Xperia S tablet, rooted but cant unlock bootloader, which was running fine up until yesterday. Now I am getting crashes when trying to sync google accounts and play store is saying no connection. The specific pop ups are com.process.google (or along those lines) google drive and gmail have stopped working.
This is on every sync however gmail still works fine as does drive.
I have tried various solutions myself which are:
1) factory reset
2) reinstalled playstore through lucky patcher (all unmodified originals from various versions)
3)checked date/time to be correct
4) disabled/enabled download manager
5) went into system root and reinstalled apks for related apps
6) tried more than one account, same issue
7) reset app preferences
8) force stopped store and services and cleared all data
can anyone else please suggest a way to fix the problem? I have run out of ideas since the tablet is locked bootloader i cant easily reflash gapps.
EDIT: just forcibly deleted my old google services system apk and replaced with my phones version and reset, had no effect after cleaning all caches and dalvik.
google play had one of its own updates then its not working.....only server error and store stettings page!
tried clearing all data and uninstalling updates but still getting the same error!!
I had the same error and tried:
Clearing data of Google Play and Google Play Services
Wiping cache and dalvik cache in recovery
Signing out of Google account and signing back in
All of which didn't work. Maybe you could try flashing opengapps over the ROM you're currently running.
Personally, I took this as an opportunity to jump from PixelExperience to LineageOS since I thought factory resetting was my only option.
Cheers!
It was temporary halt, reboot your router and phone and check it later...your problem will be resolved...
