Hello, I just bought the Lumia 1520 but I am also keeping my Xperia Z ultra around. Now the 1520 uses a nano sim card and the Z uses a regular sim card tray. IS there anyway to make it work so that I can use the nano sim card on the Z ultra?
Thanks,
try a aim adapter like this
Check out this item I found on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=171160867061

No it does not. Dual sim means it has 2 sim card slots in it and the sgs2 only has the one standard sim slot.
Most chinese "knock off" devices have dual sim which is a cool option in my opinion...

Hi,
Does anyone know of a dual sim adapter for 2x micro sims to 1x micro sim? I have a Galaxy S3 with a micro sim slot, so most dual sim adapters don't fit. Would a iphone dual sim adapter work? Or don't they have the SDK for android?
I have been told magic-SIM.com will have one in a week or so.

Regular!
Enjoy your new phone!
Thank you! Coming from an SGS2 on Sprint... decided to go prepaid and while this phone isn't the newest, I've always wanted to try something of this form factor.
Does it take micro, mini, or regular sim card?

Chip it or get a new one of your provider.

Call your carrier and tell them to send you a new SIM, or if you don't want to wait for a new SIM, go to [Insert carrier] store and tell them to make you a new one, and you'll have it within five minutes. That's how it works here at least.

Yes, just visit your carrier and ask for a nano sim.. us here in the Philippines would replace it free of charge and would say it will take 24hrs to activate.. but it normally activates w/in 6hrs..

Or if you are confident enough you can cut it manually with scissors. What I did and worked perfectly.

I think it would be much safer if you use a exacto knife (i dont know how u spell it but we call it blade cutter here at my place) + a ruler or any straight edge to guide you rather than just a scissor...
Scissors have the tendency to bend the card if you made a mistake and slipped..

It is micro SIM, not nano SIM...

There is too a mini sim! It's what you called 'regular sim'.
The original sim (Full Size Sim) was the size of a credit card!
Then they bought out the Mini Sim. Which was used for years and years.
Then came the Micro Sim. Likes used in the Z Ultra and SGS3.
Then came the Nano Sim. Likes used in one of the iphones. Don't know which one, don't care. I phones suck.
There's also an Embedded Sim which is tiiiiiiiny.
Hi, im new here. But does anyone know if using a Nano Sim card adaptor for the Z2 work good? Cause I heard some ppl ruined the sim connector on the phone after using the adaptor. So is anyone using a nano sim adaptor in here? any help would be appreciated.

I'm using a sim adaptor and have been for a little over a month now.
No issues found at all, but have not removed/reinserted since first getting the phone.
Did not buy a fancy version, got this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0093UU6AW/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1402354469&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX110_SY165
Can you take out the sim now and insert it back in and let me know?
