[Q] Xperia P battery drop to 0% - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

sorry for the bad english, english is not my first language..
the problem is... when I charge my phone, the led will turn into green and sometimes orange..
but after a moment it will go back to red led or sometimes it's not charging at all.
So I tried to turn on my phone; the battery is about 1-2%, and then drop to 0% so it switched off. Curious, I try to turn on my phone again and the battery is 47% and the problem is same, drop tp 0% again.
What's wrong with my phone? whether the charger is the problem or my phone?
thank you :fingers-crossed:

Battery stats are not very accurate, and I can see fluctuations on mine too even though not drastic as yours.
Charge your battery until it's "Full" then disconnect the charger and plug it again after few seconds and wait till it's full again and see if it behaves more normal.

[Q] 2.1 World - Battery Issue - NOT CHARGING 100%

Hi!
I found a problem on charging X10 can anyone help me to fix it.
when i turn off my X10 with battery near to 0% and plug it in for charching
when phone is still off; charching... charching... charching... LED turns green and also after 10 hours when i turn on my X10
1st problem is: LED doesn`t turn off after phone is started still pluged in the
charcher, then i unplug the charcher and LED ist still on all the time.
If charcher is unplugged until the phone is off, LED turns normally off.
2nd problem is: If charching the X10 to normally full; phone shows only around 88%
I tied to charche more than 8 hours and it didn´t charche 100%
After that i unplug the phone than i plug in the charcher again it charches normally to 100%
please help me to fix the problem!!!

Ok first of all why did you post in 2 areas? One is only good, and second of all its normal for the X10, itll reach 100% and itll slowly reduce to a certain percentage and itll charge itself back up again

1st issue is a known bug.. There is no way that you can fix it..
2nd issue is not a bug. Its a protection of overcharging since these batteries does not respond well to be kept charged when %100 full.. Phone cuts off the electricity when its fully charged (still green led though). It starts charging again when it drops down to %90.. This keeps looping until you plug off your charge kit. So the battery level you see is randomly changes between %90-100 when you plug off the kit..

just said it in the other thread
Try app like Battery Graph to see a visual history.
Okay, but battery graph only analyzes the battery and how heavy its used.
This app doesn't fix the problem for charging

Read post #2. This is not a bug. Once the phone reaches 100% full, it switches off charging to prevent over-charging and ruining the battery. Then when the phone falls to 90% battery level, it starts charging again. Hope this helps.
Yep, it is normal, no bugs, problem solved...

Its DEAD ?? PLEASE

Hi, i today fully discharge my phone, and now when i connect it to charger, only blink red light, after some second again...
when i try to run phone, blink 3-times and nothing more...
Please help me...
U need to leave it. On charge for at least 10 min before it lets you turn it on once battery is fully discharged
Yes, its definitely not dead
1eyedmonster is right, its just deep discharge. You have to wait and charge it until orange or better green led will light up.
It goes red first for below 10%

Take out ur battery.....Insert it properly....
then charge it again atleast for an hour...Will b healthy again...
Hit thanks if Helped...
i have same problem before
just charge about 3 hours
and the LED turn to green
means fully charge
if after fully charge your battery drain fast, maybe your battery is broken
or your IC in your phone is broken
Have you wiped battery stats? If not try this via cwm recovery or any other recovery after that download antutu tester off Google play (will take ages so I would run it at night) hope this helps
its ok, now run perfekt...
but i have another problem ... Charging takes too long... About 5-6 hours + ...
I would wipe battery stats again reboot should charge quicker next time. There's a app called dx battery saver which will alert you when battery gets too low and prompts before the red blinking light gives you more hassle!

Xperia P battery level jumps high from low.

I have a Sony Xperia P. Few days ago i changed my old battery to a new one, after that my battery level jumps high dramatically . If i remove the charger when the battery level at 49% and after like 10 minutes it automatically jumps high (90%). Every time this is happening and i did root, repair the software and factory reset the phone and problem is same. Anyone faced the same or have any idea about this issue?
I'm pretty sure this is gonna be pretty quick end of your battery. I don't really know anything about its lifespan, but I have pretty similar problem sometimes.
My idea? Try to discharge your battery to its flat end. Even try to turn discharged phone again and again - until it won't turn on again. Then plug your charger and charge your phone to full once it being turned off. When LED will turn green and battery indicator will show it is full - just power on the phone with charger still plugged in. Let it settle, then reboot. (charger still plugged...). See if anything changed. Try to discharge and charge battery in various ways - once slower, once faster. This will give some more info about your battery life.
Btw. is this battery Sony genuine?
Short answer: Your battery is dying, get a new one.

Redmi note 3 only blinking, when i am turning on and battery is discharged.

Hi. I have problem with redmi note 3. Notification LED only blinking, when i turning on with discharged battery, only for a while. What is it problem? Thanks for answers.
As you already explained, YOUR BATTERY IS DISCHARGED AND THE DEVICE WON'T BOOT WITH AN EMPTY BATTERY so I'm asking you kindly to leave it charge itself for a while and then try again smh

As I said. LED notification only blinking when I turning on my phone on discharged battery (on red color for. While). Normally notification led isn't working, even when I am testing in service app.

Your battery is in negative state means no power at all it happened with me also, to fix this just plug your device to charger for some time like 20-30 mins it will show no signs of charging but it will charge after 30 min try to switch on your device ?
If nothing work, the last option (before change battery) is try to charge with inverse polarity.
You need to charge the battery without phone with cutted cable. Use inverse polarity...
Red cable (positive) in negative place of battery
Black cable (negative) in positive place of battery.
This for 20 minutes approximate.
Now try to charge with normal polarity (without phone during 30 minutes).
Put your battery in your phone and charge normally.
I repeat, this is the last option before change the battery.
For good maintenance of battery not allow low than 15% or more than 90%

Try with other rom, the led controller for discharged phone is in kernel but in Android is in system I think.
I don't know if I'm right, sorry.

xperia z2 wrong charging amount and restart / turn off randomly

the phone restart or turn off randomly and show different amount of charging
for example it was 17% battery then it turn of when i try to turn on again it shows 1% and turn off again
so i put it on charger for few seconds while it was off and it shows 100% battery then when i turn on again it shows only 5%
also while it was charging and reached 17% suddenly it shows 0% and turn off and charge back from 0% while it's off and remain on 1% for so long
what is the cause of that and any one know how to fix such problem?
I had the same behavior. It's bad battery. You need to replace the battery. My one was good until I got Android 10 and because of heating problem in our Android 10 I replaced the battery two times then went back to MM and all things good now. The heat broke the battery, especially during charging.
That was my experience.
