Pls Help! Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V bricked!! - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

Hi guys,
I bricked my Sony Ericsson Neo V today trying to install CM 10.2. I hope someone can help me revive it. So this is what I did.
I installed Clockwork recovery and made a backup of the stock ROM.
Then I booted into recovery and wiped cache.
Then I tried to install CM 10.2 from 'install from zip' option.
I got a 'Status 7' error (assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device")).
Then I made the stupid mistake of restarting my device without restoring my backup and now my phone wont go beyond the sony logo.
I have rooted the devices before but did not unlock the bootloader.
Now I tried to unlock the bootloader through fastboot but when I enter the command in cmd, all i get is <waiting for devices> and there is no response.
I tried to install recovery image through flashtool but invain. Flashtool says my device is connected in flashmode but it aborts flashing. This could be probably because windows tells me that the device is not recognised.
I have installed ADB drivers and Fastboot drivers. Nothing works. I am so frustrated. Could someone please help me. I am a novice at installing custom ROMs

Is your pc Windows 8.1 or something?
Have you installed drivers?

Running CM 10.2

Pls help flashing boot.img for CM7 on Xperia Ray ("waiting for device"- error)
Hello,
I am desperately trying to get CM7 onto my Ray.
I got to the last point, but am severely stuck here
When I try to flash the boot img by <flashboot -i 0xfce flash boot boot.img>
it's always stuck at <waiting for device>
I already unlocked the phone using the test point method successfully and am Using the driver provided in the CM7 Wikia from the page about installing the android sdk and fastboot.
Can anyone help?
My OS is Win 7 Enterprise 64-bit
I believe that this should be in the General section, not the Development area.
While it's here though:
Whilst the phone is powered off, hold down Vol[+] as you insert the USB cable to your Ray, it should light up blue around the home button. If it doesn't you've not unlocked the bootloader properly.
If the blue light is there it would seem you've not got the correct drivers installed. Uninstall the ones currently in use and re-install.
The blue light shows up and I am certain the bootloader is unlocked as my log in S1Flash tool was 100% identical to that of the poster.
I tried several drivers to no avail, can you tell with one you used for your Ray or if you don't own a Ray which one I should use?
Thanks.
Also: Should the Phone show up ad Android ADB Interface in device manager?
Posted a reply in the proper thread, where you've also asked this question:

Can you explain with more detail about "connecting to flashmode in flashtool" ?
I read in some posts-connect your phone to flashtool and flash the stock firmware files to get back your phone
I connected my phone with the volume key down to flashtool, but it stated an error and didnt proceed..
You erased everything, obviousely. But Flashtool should still work.
I'll go searching for a user who I know already did the same as you... maybe he'll have useful information
EDIT
Which error?

Which sony logo, The first at boot or the boot animation one?
Are you able to boot your device in clockworkmmod?
Ok, let's do this:
-Start Flashtool
-Plug USB cable to PC
-Turn off the phone
-Press and hold volume down button
-Plug microUSB to the phone
-Post the complete Flashtool log
By the way, did you install flashmode drivers?

He formatted everything, CWM included.
I installed the flashmode drivers..
It gets stuck at the black sony logo at the start and does nothing,I had to switch it off after removing the battery..
When I connect the phone in flashmode,it says error and says device disconnected and then the phone remains at sony logo..
I'll post the log soon
GOOD NEWS!
I tried flashtool again and this time it WORKED!!
THANK YOU TO ALL
p.s-Now I'm on stock GB .58
Try to flash a different ftf file and see, preferentially an old GB Build.
If this doesn't work,
Try updating to latest Flashtool.
Install the exe at /flashtool/drivers folder.
Then flash again.
Thanks,
Rick
Edit: Okay, never mind. It's done.

Yes..As suggested in the Procedure,
1.Powered off the device.
2.Powered in ON,Simultaneously Presseing Menu Button & Plugged USB Cable in and fast boot button kept pressed.
3.While Mobile is booting can see Blue LED Indicator flash once and Mobile completes to boot to safe mode as shown on the Home Screen.
Is it the right procedure or I am missing anything??
Follow the steps in this http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/instructions you seem to be missing the win usb file...

May be issue with drivers
After connecting to computer in fastboot mode check the following. It is the 15th point in sony developer tutorial.
Enter fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version, and verify that you get a response back (for example "0.3"). This means your device is connected properly.
If you don't get "0.3" or may be "0.5" your drivers are not properly installed. That is the cause of "waiting for device"

[Q] Stuck @ bootloop while trying to unlock Xperia M bootloader. Plz Help!

I tried to unlock the bootloader on my Xperia M following the instructions in the post given here. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2484428)
It went well and I unlocked the bootloader(I think) and I reached the step where I would be stuck in a bootloop and should flash the custom rom to recover from it. But, when I tried to flash it normally using flashtool,(PS: I have successfully flashed my xperia M using flashtool before without problems) it's not working and when I connect my phone in flash mode, it's showing that device drivers are not installed. I tried reinstalling the flashboot and fastboot drivers but no use. Plz help! I am currently stuck with a bootloop.
