[ROM][Feb07][4.4.2][KOT49H][CM11][HALO][TRDS] **crDroid Simple** - HTC Droid DNA

This is crDroid Simple for Droid DNA
crDroid Simple build will always be based on CyanogenMod with some extra and few features (Cool and useful).
My main goal is: Keep up to date with CM11

This one will be more dry of features compared with other crDroid versions. I want to have fun with some that i really use and also made it easy to update, since the main base is CyanogenMod​​
Be warned that it's a custom ROM and NO guarantee is available if you kill your device​
I will avoid answer anything related with features request and ETA's
CUSTOM FEATURES​​Frameworks and Settings​Halo;
Movable and re sizable Halo window;
Screenshot quick trash;
Power menu QS tile (simple press to go into power dialog or long press to go into reboot dialog);
Power menu added in navring targets;
Non intrusive call;
Navigation bar dimensions;
Enable or disable navigation bar;
Low battery warning options;
Lockscreen see through with blur effect;
Lockscreen PIN keypad shuffler;
Lock before unlock (Show sliders before secure unlock);
Extended QS options (3, 4 or 5 tiles per row + option to duplicate tiles in landscape mode);
QS tiles custom colors and transparency with ribbon linked;
Notification drawer custom background and transparency;
Notifications row transparency;
Custom clear all recents button (place it in any corner of the screen);
RAM bar;
Option to hide app's status bar notification icons;
GPSTile from SlimRoms;
TRDS from SlimRoms (Dark droid);

Coming from another ROM?
Download the zip(s).
Install a compatible Recovery
Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
Wipe data & cache partitions of your device (required when coming from stock!).
Flash ROM.
Install the Google Apps addon package.

FAQ
Q1. `OK Google` feature not working.
A1. Select GE launcher to enable it. Its in gapps package. Launcher3 is not having this feature.
Q2. If apps are fc`ing, root is not sticking.
A2. Make sure you are NOT using ART. ART is for dev. purposes. Many apps are not designed to use ART currently. Dont report any bugs when you are using ART runtime method.
Q3. Titanium Backup is not restoring apps.
A3. Set your backup dir for Titanium Backup as ::
storage/emulated/legacy/TitaniumBackup
After setting backup dir, System will prompt to move your backups from previous dir to new correct one.
Then proceed with restoring backups.

Nice, might be placebo effect but this feels snappier than the other 4.4 I've used... Still only getting 3g though, is that just me?
Edit: seems to be my SIM card, I get 4g when I use my girls SIM

It was the Wallet app. Google Wallet will now work with all devices, including Verizon's if they are running android 4.4. The changed the app that allows it to get around the protected sim issue with Verizon phones. I have not tested this yet but did read an article in one of the blogs that explained it.

Yes the app works but so far on 4.4 we haven't been able to actually use "tap to pay" yet. I think some code or something is missing at the moment in the rom.

I'm getting a error, "executing updater binary in zip, set_metadata_recursive: changes failed". Could not flash failed. Not sure what went wrong, maybe a bad download? I'm going to try another download and see what happens.

yeah so I might have jumped the gun a little. I got the tap to pay in the settings, and the section in the google wallet app that indicates its working, but when i tried it today at the gas station it didn't recognize the NFC being enabled... so I dont know may have been a bad terminal, or it may not be working properly on the phone...

ROM working nice on my end. Had an issue with GPS locking, but upon a reboot it locked fine?! Also was able to connect to WiFi at work this morning, but once I disconnected I'm not able to reconnect. Can't turn off WiFi either. Weird issue. Overall great rom. Bugs are to be expected with such an early build :beer:

Edit. Got WiFi working by turning on WiFi tether for a second, which forces WiFi off. Once I disabled WiFi tether WiFi turned back on and working properly.

My Google wallet says tap & pay is setup but when attempting at our vending machines here at work, it doesn't work. :-/
Maybe in the future we'll get this capability!! Solid work nonetheless
