The next update is Android 2.3 with sense 2.1. In this Rom data. IS working. It will be uploaded once complete. This new Rom from HTC desire s. And it will run on the new FXP kernel once I ask permission of jerpelea.

Camera= not working yet.
Camcorder = not yet.
GSM is bassicly working. calls can come through to me but i cant call out. so need to make GSM 100%.
Texts service = fully working.
Data = not working will fix A.S.A.P.
Vibrate = not working will be fixed in 1st release.
Wifi = Fully Working.
Bluetooth = not working too many FC will fix A.S.A.P
Sensors now working
EVERYTHING ELSE = FULLY WORKING.

I have got it booting and everythings going fine. i am now just trying to get data working and it is hard to do as we have No HTC kernel ATM so i have towrite everything and make it work with our stock kernel so PLEASE be patiant.

BTW ide like to thank racht as i used again some libs and all apps from his 2.3 port of his rom as i didnt have time to resize all the apps but now we have data. im really tired and my backs hurting i have been on this computor all day working on this so now its time for some rest and 2morrow is a new day for our x8 we can now have FULL sense rom on x8. i just gotta figure out how to do this damn camera and camcorder :S i might need some help with that if any1 wants to help

AFAIK, you can use the original SE libs in every 2.1 ROM, so you would just have to copy the libs and then all bugs should be fixed.

this does not work already tryed they have to be related to HTC in some way but cant figure it out. i have just been getting things working by modding the lib files to work with our kernel

my rom is only in beta stage so most things work but some dont so just test rom in general mate please

LOL no i got it mixed up with my other 1 its 2.2.1 sorry lol i am working on 3 sense roms lol but my oh my check out how nice and smooth the scrolling is on it feels SOOOOOOOO much better than any other rom i have made or even used beats GB by far
Ye i just noticed its 2.2 ok first impressions very smooth scrolling across homescreens lags a TINY bit but i can live with it quadrant didnt work when i tried it but will try again i personally hate the font but i can change it myself maybe others want it camera and camcorder dont work for me :/ will update as i test more but very impressed so far

thanks. yes i tryed a quadrent test but failed dunnno why. but i got a feeling i may not be needing this rom after all read 2nd post in 5mins ill show you why i think every1 is going to be exited when they see what i have just done

HTC's Sense is not an android version. it is a user interface over the android OS.
Hi, since it seems that Pricey doesn't update his ROM anymore, I've tried to port Official MIUI for Arc S to our Play.
I have used as base Keiran's DFR ROM, because it was deodexed.
What works:
Sound
Touchscreen
Wi-Fi
Bluetooth

What doesn't work:
All MIUI apps
Virtual keyboard (IME)
Orientation (Only landscape)

Camera
All problems with MIUI apps are related to miui-framework, in fact I have this in logcat for all MIUI apps:

I don't know... Doesn't work Phone, touchpads are not my first problem.

Are you using MIUI PatchRom? If so, try using CM9 as a base, and use a CM9 compatible kernel This might help it because MIUI is very similar to CM in terms of code base.
If you aren't, still, base it on CM, you will see why

No, 2 reasons
1. Video recording will be broken anyway as MIUI will probably use the same hardware encoder as cyanogenmod does.
2. Touch pads aren't added to MIUI framework, so they would work like they do in CM anyway

As for the windowmanager issues:
phonewindowmanager.smali from CM9 needs to go into framework.jar

I have already made a working gb miui check through the forums.. only things that don't work are Bluetooth and touchpads.

Yes I got it... "just" have problems with display drivers... As scritch released his 4.4.3, I will work harder to make the kernel working... hopfully 4.4.3 bugs would be solved with it...

I am still using gingerbread developed by Feralab, I really want to use ice cream or jelly bean but there is no compete rom but the version is keep on releasing I don't understand it , then why there is no 3.x kernel developed is it impossible for our phone? There's some pretty cool version of JB. The CM10 now has every thing except hardware video encoding/decoding. Everything else is working nicely.
CM10.1 and Everolv 4.2 and 4.3 have an issue with the kernel. But I can't manage to fix it. So we've been working on newer kernel, 2.6.32 but it has a camera issue. And we're trying to port a newer kernel, but it's not that easy.

I agree.. I was on the ICS version from FXP but when i recently switched back to Feravolt's GB, it was a lot more smoother and fast.. !!

I am using this phone from 2.5 years and used stock 1.6, 2.1, 2.3 and custom ROMs of Fera, Zahid5h, Scritch, Vasishta, Walker all 2.3, 4.1 and now 4.2.2 ROMs... It's been a great experience with this phone and with great ROMs by great Developers... Thanks a lot guys from all X10 users.

I installed this ROM yesterday. First thing - GPS work fine - dont know why you wrote on OP "NO GPS"?
ROM is fast and good - only problem is with WLOD usualy when first start some apps or doing something too fast ;p

Yeah, only place when You change something with GPS options is "Location access" in "Personal"
Some other options i cant find - for example i cant change icns on status bar - wifi, sync or something else - i dont know chow too change it ;p
But ROM can be nice in the future i like it too in alpha stage its better then other in beta ;p
One more thing - is it possible to restore USB charge or something like this to kernel? Becouse i read You remowe this options from source code and from 4.X kernel we cant use other then Sony charger - i have Philips charger for 2 phones but cant use it.
Hello to all developers. I have noticed that some of the developers are using the new sources. But nobody improved the old roms, I think.
In CM 9.1 from FXP is the FM Radio not working, in CM 10 is not working video playback/recording and FM Radio.
I think that it can't be a problem to fix these two things with the souces. It'll be great to have a complete bugless custom ROM.

I think many developers are enthusiastic about new CM11 now because it's chalenge for them. But CM11 isn't stable itself yet.
I join to your wish. We could collect some money for developer who will make for us bugfree custom rom. If there would be more financial contributors, it wouldn't have to be expensive for each single user. Any other person willing to contribute for it?

I agree. Hands down the best JB rom.
for what i know CM10LE and MSR Rom
are for what i see the only stable/bugless CM10roms.
with only 1 bug like fm radio

I have a sony xperia u with cm 11; bluetooth and wifi don't work with any rom, i tried the slimcm the cm 10.2 the cm 9, the stock rom gingerbread, but when i try to turn bluetooth on the button does't turn on (it should higlight ON), if i try the same thing with wifi the phone starts a bootloop. Can you help me? I'm sorry for my english
flash stock rom, and in flashtool choose to wipe everything (data, cache..)

I was thinking of opening such a thread, but requesting bug free Cm9, so locked bootloader users would be able to have better Rom themselves than stock.
Unfortunately my netbook would be a PITA to build it, besides me being a complete noob at developing lol

Hi All ,
This is Saurabh from India and mine is a rooted Quattro. I was facing an issue where fm radio used to stop if I was on the home screen. It used to work in the background if any app was open but won't work in home screen. As a remedy , I did factory reset and now the FM app won't start even on launch.
Also , there is a lot of stuttering while playing music using the stock music player. I refreshed the music library as all of my songs are on external sd card but the problem still persists.
My warranty expired just a month back and now im facing all these issues. I am sick and tired of this bloated Samsung ROM and maybe it was a mistake to buy this phone. Anyways , please also suggest few stable supported AOSP ROMs for my device.

You can see the Development sections. All the roms available for our device are stock-based, and CM is still in progress. So, there's no AOSP for us, at least for now.
The best thing for you to do is reflash a firmware and root again after.

Thanks a lot for the info freitaz. Please tell me the custom rom you are using and if possible provide me a link. I get flustered every time while browsing through the dev section for our device.
It would be a great help if you can suggest a stable rom. And I hope flashing a new firmware will sort out my problems.:angel:

S4TheWin is a good rom, but is discontinued.
The people talks a lot about TransWin. I didn't test, but seems a very good one.
You can find links to these roms on their threads at Android Development section of our device.
I'm using stock rom. I think this is the most stable one for our device, at least for now. You can download the latest ones at http://sammobile.com
PnoyLewa rom is awesome . No lag and its so smooth.. and free of errors... a must try rom.. I have found bugs on transwin and other roms but this one is perfect!! Thanks to the developer..
