Hi all, so here is the situation... A friend of mine has a Galaxy SII (Tmobile version) and her play store force closes. In an attempt to solve this issue, she has cleared data and cache from google play services, as well as google play store. I also advised her to delete her google account from her device, then sign back in. Neither of those worked. Also, download manager is enabled. Does anyone have any other ideas? I appreciate the help!
If you've tried so many things then you can just backup the phone and factory reset

Reinstall the play store...
Is the Play Store apk updated one ?? If not install the latest version ...
It may solve the problem ...
It may save ur time ...,and better than factory reset...

You mean like reflashing the firmware? It's still stock. Haven't done anything to it yet.

Oh... I forget that your phone is not rooted. Then maybe you can try clear the cache.

Just clear the app data of google maps in Settings>Application manager.
If that doesn't fix the hang then try re-installing the app from the market.
If even the 2nd tip fails, then root the phone and clear cache partition in CWM recovery.
But I think the 1st tip should work just fine.

Unfortunately, Google Play Store has stopped?
Interesting. Try clearing cache and data, if that fails, install a copy of Play Store from AndroidPolice or something, and push to /system/app, if THAT fails, try a factory reset. If for what ever reason, THAT fails, your stuck.
(P.S I have no responsibilty if you mess up your device trying to Factory Reset or installing another copy of Google Play.)

Will give two methods.
1. Clear data of play store and play services
Settings-> Play store and play services-> Clear Data
2. Remove your account and add again..
After removing clear data of play store as well as play services..
