[Q] Weird issue in HTC ONE X+

I buy a refurbished HOX+ from china and i have been use it for 4 days now...
First day it came no longer in original state which the seller already give some apps and its like he limit it, iam not sure about this limitation but iam curious why there is only like 15 language which only spoken in South East Asia.but when i hard reset more language available
It start restarting and even hang that causing another restart, i conclude its an software problem so i try to update the android version using OTA, its succesfully download it but when restarting and installed it take so long and seems no progress so i restart it manually, and after restart several time it could go into the android system and i doing a hard reset but problem still occur
Day 2 i tried to install another rom which i tried 2(CM 10.1 unofficial for HOX+ and CM 10 for HOX and Carbon Fibre that also for HOX+),problem still occur like the first issue, and here's the weird thing: when the lcd screen turn off automaticly or i press to turn off my lcd and left for a few minutes sometimes second, when i tried to press to turn it on again its no longer responding which i can't conclude its shutdown itself or the lcd is not responding.
But in TWRP this issue with lcd never show up, which i can turn it on again with no problem
Secondly when i change to custom rom in CM 10 for HOX i cant open playstore, the program is executed but i cant go to that window
In CM 10 for HOX+ which i have to flash gapps i can open play store but cant download(the progress bar static) but i still can search same issue happen in carbon rom
sometime when copying a file from pc to phone cant too the pc said it cannot copy
I also tried changing the firmware but still same
I change my old sim with new one still same
i also check for md5sum
now i tried to update the hboot and back to stock rom, i hope it could revive my problem
android details:
HTC_044
twrp 2.6.0.000
H boot ver 1.36
some details that i miss i would update later..
This issue really taking my time and patience..
One more thing i would ask is it possible if its an hardware issue
I will appreciate your help for this weird issue

[Q] Freshly installed 4.3 produces ghost OTA update notifications

I have installed Android 4.3 from occam image downloaded from Google to my Google Nexus 4. The phone has been rooted and set up with TWCR.
The problem is that every week or so the phone thinks there is an OTA OS update from Google: a notification icon pops up telling that an "update to Android 4.3" has been downloaded (update size 1.8M). The update "installs" in a second, boots into TWCR which offer to repairs root access (and I do), and then boots normally. There is no that "optimizing app N of M" lengthy process as with a real OS upgrade.
I confirmed that the build incremental version in /system/build.prop does not change; in fact, the build fingerprint is not changed by this "update":
Code:
ro.build.fingerprint=google/occam/mako:4.3/JWR66V/737497:user/release-keys
Why does this happen and what may I try to do to prevent this?
same issue happened yesterday with my phone

My wife's all stock Nexus 4 with Android 4.3 got an update notification today, and run an upgrade that did not change anything in the "About phone" page. Unlike mine, thought, it did the "Optimizing application X of Y" step after a reboot.
So maybe there was a systemic glitch which just coincided with my phone re-flash? This explanation would hold if I do not see any more of these "updates" coming in the next few weeks.
Hi kkm000
today I unroot my phone and flash stock recovery and then successfully installed the update.
version of the build changed from JWR66V to JWR66Y

Kingzone

Hey people,
I have a big problem and I am a big noob what contains to software, hardware is my thing.
Lets get straight to the point......
I have rooted my device(Kingzone K2) with Kingroot on Android lolipop 5.1.
the first time i tried to root it would not work because my phone had a unknown version of android or something like that, so i reported that to kingroot and a month later they made it possible to root on my device.
now I have rooted my device but I started up my phone and all of a sudden my phone was reset to factory setting.
I thought it would have been a accident with android devicemanager.
And up following I wanted to download apps and stuff but it gave me the error that Android.procces.media was stopped.
And the apps wont download I tried everything to download them, also camera and gallery wont work for the same reason.
So can someone please help me with this problem.......
Thanks.

Moto G3 - rooted unsuccessfully, want to return totally to stock.

HI folks.
I'm the owner of a Moto G3 that I tried (unsuccessfully) to root. I managed to reflash the correct firmware to the phone so that it at least worked. I'm currently running Android 5.1, but I'd like to install Android 6 which was installed. Unfortunately, everytime I try to do the update, it downloads and starts the install, reboots (or tries to, it goes to the bootloader screen on reboot every time) several times, and ultimately says update failed. I'm assuming the two issues (booting to Bootloader screen and refusing the update) are related - but I don't know how to fix either of them!! Id like to be able to return the phone back to completely stock with Android 6 running, and with the bootloader unlocked so I can have another bash at rooting at another time.
Help please!!!
