Hi guys so am running a certain ROM based on JB 4.3 and kernel based 3.0.31, this particular kernel doesnt support undervolting. To enable undervolting do i install any undervolt module based on kernel 3.0.31 >>>system/lib/modules OR do i compile one from scratch( rather advanced)

after : root>custom recovery>milk os kernel , i'll be able to set cpu freq in setCPU ?
my p500 is untouched ( all stock)
You need to flash gnm oc kernel then miks kernel.
I prefer using miks 1.0 kernel not 1.1
Or go with dev's fix kernel
i see people who said they flashed with milk os kernel after custom recovery . it says milk os kernel has gnm oc kernel features . Sorry for my bad english.
Is it possible to have blnww with stock cm10.1 kernel? i know that the stock kernel does not have this function whereas siyah and dorimanx kernel have it. possibly stock kernel with that additional feature.
Can someone explain to me why AOSP and stock kernels (like Samsung stock kernels for example) only work on whatever type of ROM they're compiled for?
Also, why are most CM kernels still stuck on 3.0.64 when the official Linux kernel is on 3.11/3.12 now?
Hello.
Is there a way to use/have dualboot independent of which kernel i use !?
I use the Boeffla kernel, but i love the Dualboot function ...
So is there another way to have dualboot?
Or are the Siyah based kernels ( f.e. GoogyMax ) the only way to have it !?

no you need googy_max (based on syah) or devil (based on perseus) kernel for dualboot.
Hello, I have compiled a custom kernel from LineageOS sources for my device (Galaxy A5 2017). My device is running crDroid 5.8, the kernel is build from the same sources as my custom kernel.
I only added a governor to my kernel and flashed the boot.img in TWRP.
But the problem is that the performance is really bad (phone is laggy, apps need 10 secs+ to start), even when NOT using the added governor.
Restoring the stock boot.img didnt fix the problem.
Any ideas?
