Kitkat 4.4.......... because of its better RAM management.. already tried nightlies version for XU..
4.2 as i don't like kitkat apps and 4.3 is too ram hungry so i will go for 4.2

I guess OP is talking about AOSP based ROMs like AOKP, not 'based' ROMs.

Hello!
A friend of mine wants to root his phone(live with walkman) to put a custom rom cause he cant stand ics anymore. I would like a rom wihout bugs if possible, with jellybean so that he does not have any lag. If there are any roms with ics that are more lightweight i prefer them. What rom do you reccomend me?
This Rom is the best..http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1969555

just go for any cm9/10/10.1
those are light super fast ROMs
If You want fast and smooth JB, flash 3.0 or 3.4.45 kernel.

No, he mean pure Android Kitkat 4.4 Rom, not Cyanogenmod (with no CM's toys ). It will faster.
It's kinda work . It's preferrable to wait and then build all aosp and his variants ,slimkat, purity etc
What do u guys think of XNovaThor Project Kitkat?Awesome right?hope it will happen

Wait!! Devs are busy with CM11. As soon as bugs are sorted out, it will be a matter of days for a pure AOSP to be out.
Please post your experience and ideas

Use gb roms! Yes, I know 2.3 is outdated, but 4+ battery life and ram is awful..
Also, if you want a 4.3 look, I made an aosp theme for most gb roms!
