[Q] metros pcs LG l9 on t-mobile - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

Can't find a direct answer on this. Can I use a metro PCS lg L9 on t-mobile? There is a big price difference, but I think the phone is the same. Anyone know for sure?

[Q] Traveling to Germany - SIM Card Options?

Hello,
I recently purchased an LG G3 on Verizon here in the US. I am traveling to Germany for a week in January for work and staying for a few extra days for fun. Anyone know if it is possible to buy a pre paid SIM card in Germany and put it in my LG G3? If not, are there any good options that you know of?
Sorry, never been to Europe before, so I've never worried about SIM cards before. Thanks so much.

yes, you should be able to buy a SIM in Germany and put it in your G3. You just need to get the APNs set up correctly. Whoever you buy the SIM from SHOULD be able to set those up for you. I'd do some research to see who covers the region you are going to be in and see what the APNs should be.

Thank you for the speedy response Bladerunner. Do you know if you have to contact Verizon to tell them your doing this?
No you do not. The G3 is SIM unlocked already.

I've been looking myself. It seems like a hard device to unlock the bootloader in as well. I can't imagine that it isn't a popular device. It's $50, snappy with a quad core, and on an unlimited 4g lte network for $50 a month. I used Pdanet+ usb tethering to tap into the hotspot. If I could access the root files I am sure that we could all benefit from customizing this device. I am really amazed at how quick it is.

LG G5 RS988 32GB Smartphone (Unlocked, Titan) - Anyone else see this?

Looks like B&H is going to be selling this unlocked. Would Verizon let me activate this? Or better yet, would I be able to just swap my card from my VS987 and have at it?

In theory, you should be able to use this. If the bands supported/operated by Verizon are also supported by this device, then you shouldn't have issues. However... I am not with Verizon myself, and to my knowledge they are generally sim-less in the US, so I would definitely check with them to be 100% sure. Sim swap for sim swap tho is generally pretty straightforward on unlocked devices. Someone else please correct me on this if I am wrong.

LG v30+ sprint US998S work on verizon

Buddy won one and doesnt want it.. Just curious if i need to do anything special to make it work on verizon

Simply unlock it. Probably using an online service that unlocks your phone for a couple of bucks.
would you happen to know a trust worthy site?

Remove T-Mobile Branding on LG Wing

Is it possible to remove the T-Mobile branding on an LG Wing mobile phone? I purchased one from eBay and the seller was based in the US and I am in Australia.
I would like to know if I can flash a stock firmware or remove the branding as it is pretty baked in and not wanted.
The model number I have is a LM-F100TM.

I'm pretty sure via flashing with LGUp you can do that. Its a dangerous game though. It can brick if you aren't safe
Can you flash a different variants firmware though and has anyone successfully done it?
It's working well enough apart from the T-Mobile bloat, but I'd love it to not have that extra crud.

You can on the demo models everyone's buying off ebay. There's been mixed information about if you can or can't with regular carrier devices. Generally though it seems like you can't

Fair enough, I may leave it as it is working as it is supposed to and the bloat does not worry me too much.
