Yep! flashed that from the Moonshine thread.
I have literally gone from start to finish on every possible fix. I'm not 100% sure but if i had a modified Hboot and then relocked everything i think its a brick.
Never ever had an issue like that before. Tried to do it real quick without reading and brick it is! hahah Guess everyone has to learn some time!

No, i do not have a custom recovery anymore. clicking recovery only takes me to the HTC recovery which ends up rebooting after 3 minutes and then freezes at the white HTC screen.

If s-on, boot.img must be pulled from Rom, and flashed in fastboot.
That's what the post says but I will try it at least.. I'm s-on and locked, so my guess is that this won't work. I've tried the full decrypted ruu flash via fastboot and it fails. I will try this though tonight

That's the link for root which will allow you to flash roms. You are correct that soff is for radio flashing and easier for kernels.

Hi,
I'm new to rooting Android (first android this year) and started trying to catch up before I root.
I'm also on 2.13 - the process I was thinking of doing was:
S-Off Dirty Racun --> TWRP --> Custom Rom
But on this thread it looks like:
S-Off Dirty Racun --> RegawMod Rooter (which includes everything) My question is: The RegawMod includes a bootloader unlocker - does that duplicate what the Dirty Racun S-Off does? Or is it safe to do both?
Thanks,

This is the route I'd take.
If someone didn't want S-Off, then I'd go with RegawMOD's rooter.
Oh ok cool, thanks a lot, still reading and not ready to quite do it yet, but getting there.
Thanks

Listen dumb *** I would not give you something that would break your device. If you don't like it then do not flash the damn thing. That link is valid and it works. It is the recovery I flash every time I am done doing a rom in TWRP. And yeah you asked the same question that had been asked so many times before when you should have used search function to find my thread or one of the other dozens of threads made after that posed the question before you. Also you are speaking about something you know nothing about, if there is an OTA out then it is not an AT&T rom and he needs to not flash it. His version of TWRP also works fully.

On the AT&T version you either do that or you risk problems with charging if your battery dies on AT&T TWRP (THIS DOES NOT EFFECT THE INTERNATIONAL WHICH FUNCTIONS JUST FINE WITH TWRP)

I can't get any ROM to work on my EVO LTE

I have successfully unlocked my bootloader and flashed the twrp 2.6.0.0 recovery I backed up the old stock rooted ROM and first tried CM10 jewel direct from cyanogen and the phone was stuck on the boot screen for 20 min the first time then I rebooted and tried again and it set for 30 min the second time I tried CM10.1_4.2.2_Modded_IrocEvo_jewel_20130720 still didn't work same issue but this time it is stuck in a boot loop it does at least get to the boot animation well I wiped again and tried Ouroboros_Build_One and still the same issue I don't understand why the ROM's won't boot and for anyone that looks at this no I did not S-OFF my phone is still S-ON I unlocked the bootloader with the htc dev
What am I missing please any help would be appreciated
I really want to get cm10 to work, before I upgraded to the EVO LTE I had a standard photon that was perma locked so I really don't want to be stuck there again

You're supposed to flash twice bro.
Flash the rom, it'll get stuck on bootloop .. Then flash the ROM again without wiping anything. And you're all good.
Most asop Roms and the new miui won't work tough, the touchscreen won't work because thw new firmware isn't compatible with those Roms

Not totally true. The method of flashing the ROM zip twice mainly works with ROM's that have an S-on kernel installer built in. Typically with AOSP ROM's the kernel has to be flashed using fastboot commands (or Flash Image GUI). Also, any AOSP ROM using the newer 3.4 kernel is compatible with the newest firmware.
OP, hit the link in my sig. I have a guide on how to flash kernels while S-on that should be fairly easy to follow. In the grand scheme of things, though, you should consider getting S-off, as already suggested.

Is that still the case? Either TWRP 2.5 works with firmware 3.15 (w/o breaking touch panel) or CM/MIUI now works with firmware 3.16 because I have been going between sense and CM 10.2 without firmware upgrading/downgrading for quite awhile now. The newer 3.4 kernel is compatible with the newest firmware, so any AOSP ROM with that kernel doesn't require downgrading the touch panel driver in order to work properly.

The boot.img is in the ROM you downloaded. On your computer, double-click the ROM zip file and you will see it. You can then right-click on the boot.img then extract it to your ADB tools folder and flash it via fastboot. If you need a ROM to get you up and running try flashing MeanBean. It's a Sense ROM with the kernel installer built in.
As far as getting Moonshine to work, you'll have to be more specific regarding the errors you're getting.

Sounds like you flashed the older version that utilizes the 3.0 kernel. If you flash one of the newer nightly versions or from IRC, they have the newer 3.4 kernel that's compatible with the newest touch panel driver, so the downgrade isn't necessary.

The Rom is what I was wanting tried to Return stock and got stuck tampered but with root. Moonshine will not work cause I think something is missing now. Keeps losing connection. Figured if I could flash the 2.06 full rom .zip it may get me to where I could Moonshine again.

What ruu would I need to use? Also would I need to relock the bootloader and replace my modified hboot with a original hboot?
Thank You

I am running that ROM now and my Verizon Voicemail is still messed up.
Thank you for this micromod777 Sir. The only thing I noticed that wasn't working for me was the recent app button being able to open menu. Thanks again.

I just tried the utility and I got an error. It stated for me to get the proper update utility. Error code was 158.
P.S. I just went to re-download the utility, and the link is down or disabled.
