Is anyone having any issues with their themer app after updating to v1.16? I skipped a version. The last version installed on my device was v1.14. Today after updating to the latest version the launcher just crashes and I can't get it to re-start. I've tried clearing the data, un-installed and re-installed it, but nothing. Is there something I'm doing wrong or am I having these issues because I skipped v1.15? And if so, where can I get a copy of that version? Any help would be appreciated.

Just went to look for an app and my Market seems to have stopped working. The icon has changed and when I try to open it I get an error saying "The linked program is no longer installed on your phone".
I was using the 2.2 Market (from Modaco) and have just tried to install it again but upon trying I get an error saying "Application Not Installed".
The only thing I've done to the phone since last night when it was woking properly was try the BFS version of Flykernal-11c (I was running the non BFS version).
I also use AppBrain but I can't see how that would have broken it.
Maybe Google have somehow stopped 2.2 Market from running on run on 2.1 ROMs?
Anyway, does anyone how can I get the old Market back without restoring from a Nandroid back-up or flashing the ROM again? Is there a 2.1 Market apk available?
Thanks,
Lee

Yeah, I'll see if I can find an earlier version somewhere.
I can figure out most problems myself but I must admit, this one has me stumped!
Not having much luck so I'm restoring from Nandroid.
Hopefully there's only a few things I'll have to reinstall... but AppBrain will help there
I'll report back about the Market issue.
All working now. Only have 4 apps to re-install and 3 phone numbers to change. No biggie, but pity there wasn't an easier way to fix it.
the majority of my installed apps from the market are not showing up in the "My downloads" part of the market. Ive tried all normal fixes and none of them work:
TiBu Market Doctor
Fix Permissions (This actually isnt working for me on this ROM either)
Uninstalled/Reinstalled Vending.apk
Cleared Market cache/data
Is anyone else experiencing this? Does anyone have other ideas on how i would fix this??
Hmmm, that is strange. All of my apps are showing up.
My market updated to the latest leak out and it started doing that. I uninstalled the update then restarted after that and all my app showed. Now my market updated agaib to the latest one but now all my apps show olin the my apps section. So try that.

My market is now not functioning properly either..
Its giving me an error saying "Warning: Your device may not be compatible with Android Market. Contact your device's manufacturer for more information." What the hell?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have tried restoring with odin and everything and still get this weird error.

I saw some ppl tweeted this earlier. Seems to a market problem.
Topshelf: I'm guessing you are using TB to restore apps? On almost all flashes I have the same problem after restoring. I usually uninstall an app that I know is installed, reboot, clear cache, then usually in one of those steps it brings back all my apps. GL
anyone else having this problem?
Hey guys does anybody know why the sprint tv & movie app is asking to update but when I tap to update it.it just forecloses, I've tried clearing data in application manager but it still forecloses,i then uninstalled the app and installed it again but no luck.does anybody know how to get it to update correctly or does anybody have the updated sprint tv app that I can install
Is there anybody that might have any idea about this issue?
I'm doing the update right now, I'll let you know if I have any trouble.
Edit: Mine updated just fine. No problems. I suggest rebooting if you haven't already. Other than that, I don't know.
Working fine here, what rom are you on?
I'm on evozone3d and zone23 does not include the sprint tv movie app, but I had downloaded the app but it would install fine but not update correctly.so I finally downloaded the app again and installed it I then ran the update and it updated correctly.i guess it must have been a corrupted file.thanks guys for the help I appreciate it.
where did you download the app from? I am having the same problem. I am on the cleanrom and when I update I get a force close...

Do you have Sprint_InstallerNC_v2_1_0 installed in /system/app?
the only thing i think has changed/updated is superuser asked me to update the binary. now the market force closes.
i have uninstalled(i had the ics version) and reinstalled. uninstalled again and installed an older version, no good also. i have cleared the market cache and data on each attempt and no good. i even went into recover via CWM and cleared cache and no good.
i dont want to full factory reset.
it feels that something else is causing the problem like maybe an app??
any ideas guys>
thanks, marc

You not the first, update the market to 3.3.11 and all at last will start to work normally!

Running a Galaxy Nexus on Stock 4.1.1 (rooted).
Last week, Play Store randomly started giving me the DF-BPA-09 Error when I wanted to download new apps. Old apps would update fine. I searched XDA and found that turning Google Sync Off and restarting the phone solved it. It worked once or twice, but the problem kept coming back.
Then read another thread that said go to All Apps > Play Store >Uninstall Updates and Clear Data. I did this, and now when I start Play Store, it permenantly gives me 'Server Error', with a Retry Button below it.
I have Titanium Backup Pro, so tried restoring an older version, tried Freezing and Unfreezing the App, still not working.
Would appreciate any help.
tldr; DF-BPA-09 Error used to come, Cleared Play Store Data and now stuck at Server Error.

Your probably not gonna like this suggestion but a factory reset should do the trick, if you don't want to do that you could re-install the play store.

Hoping to leave that for a last resort. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling too. Think flashing the latest GApps would help?

Can access play.google.com from the phone browser but not the Play Store app.

Yeah id give flashing the latest GApps a try it's certainly worth a shot because that should give you the most up-to-date Play Store and hopefully replace the troublesome one you have right now.
