Hi everyone,
Here's the KitKat themed Contact,Phone and Message app. I don't like TW icons so I modded these apps. KitKat phone icon and Message looks nice compared to TW. This is only themed app which means the app remains the same,no ui change in app. I've modded the icons of these apps like the same in KitKat.

I already modded dialer app for 240dpi. Are talking about this app(KitKat one)?
If yes then set the resolution to 320dpi as mentioned above using xposed. The reason is its universal. Which means any one can use it(no matter its 320 or 240).

Buddy yes that is correct i am on 320 Dpi using DPI settings but the 240dpi looks better 320 looks to huge the call logs and the dial pad to i would be reverting back to ModV3 pack. and waiting for V4update. :good:

Set font scale to 75 or lower(according to your need) in xposed for contact app. This will make everything smaller like in 240dpi. Any ways,v4 will be released today.?

Oh since you have been messing around with the icons then maybe you could answer some of my questions.
I am trying to create a theme for Note 2 with Note 3 mods. I am currently using DN3 v3 rom.
These are my questions :
1. I would like to know where installed apps from play store keeps there icons "I want to change them"
2. Where are all the stock apps "pre installed apps" located ?
3. Do i need to do any xml programming when replacing the app icons ?
Please tell me the path to those locations if you know it :fingers-crossed:

1. Installed apps are in data/app folder
2. They are in system/app
3. No need of any xml editing for replacing icons. Go to res->drawable-xhdpi and edit icons according to your need. Make sure that replaced icons are of same size.

There are two apps. SecContacts.apk and SecMMS.apk. I modded SecConatcts for dialer icon and contact icon. And SecMMS for Messages icon. And No they aren't old icons..

I am new to Android so can you please share the installation procedure? I have rooted my stock rom using Dr. Ketan's guide with Stock recovery...When i enter the recovery mode and flash the zip provided, it gives a signature not verified error...Plz help and kindly provide more screenshots for the dialer and other options that update using this utlity

It will theme the contacts and message icons only. It wont theme dialer like KitKat. And just flash it from recovery.

Go back int xposed installer in the modules tab and enable xposed app settings.
Open xposed app settings from your drawer and have fun.
If you have problems install/update again after enabling module and reboot.
Now you can modify the dpi of any app on the fly.changes stick, and there's no need to download multi dpi modded apps.you can have ur launcher set to 192dpi - tapatalk to 150 dpi or even your systemui to 240dpi without affecting other apps! you can fix ur dialer, camera, Anything!

Well after several attempts at this, I'm getting a FC in the Xposed app settings when i try to open it after everything is set up. Followed your directions for initial install. Followed your directions for any troubles.

I'm running applets from /xbin btw!
Just installed this in CleanROM V3.5, and tried setting Chrome to 160 DPI in Tablet mode... works great!
Installed perfectly and changes get made, however with stock email, when changing the dpi to anything lower than 320, in portrait I get white spacing on the right hand side for some reason, like it won't stretch to fir the screen. In landscape, it looks prefect though. Any ideas as what the issue is?

I have the same issue. While trying to load apps in the settings app, it stops responding.

png files just arent meant for that dpi. Try adjusting the dpi to better fill the gap.also play with the tablet check box and the resolution pulldown.

I have been playing with the dpi's and like I mentioned before anything lower than the stock dpi of 320 it leaves that gap in portrait. Landscape looks fine though, Have you experienced that on your end in lowering the dpi for the stock email client? I'll attach a screen shot in few...

I've looked into this and my stock odexed email app does not show the gap you describe..
I'm waiting for that scrennie to see exactly where the gap is .
However, as this is not an issue with the dpi mod itself, but rather the app dpi requirements, I'm glad to help anyway.
Tis good to smooth out all applications of this mod to our device

I attached 3 screen shots in my previous post, the first showing the gap, the second is the settings I used and then the third showing that it looks fine in landscape,
May need the 240 dpi modded one for this.

Thanks so much for your help. I think I will just stick with what I got. Was just hoping to make it slightly smaller to take advantage of the bigger screen. No biggie. Its just weird reducing the dpi doesnt fit to screen in portrait like it does in landscape.
Ok I dont know what the deal is here but every time the exposed app settings is loading my apps the application stops. Any clues from my fellow CRACK FLASHERS.

No go for me also. Beans 3 with packaged kernel set at 240 DPI with all apps that needed correcting already corrected manually. Tried installing several times now. Verizon using nova launcher. Hopefully we get this fixed.

Looking like there might be an incompatible doohickey inside beans rom.

its a bug in the app not beans rom, i reported to the dev and he made a new version that works perfect, he should be updating his site with it soon ...version 0.0.6..i would upload it but i dont wanna be rude if he didn't want to release it yet..
(the app that made it crash was lidroid by the way ...but he fixed it)

Is it possible that you add a small universal mod which adds brightness bar to all your present and awesome future themes?

It Works on the galaxperia v2 rom to. But It changed my buttons on the screen to regular, and battery and So.
Maybe you can make It also for the galaxperia system ui. If you have the time. But great work!

Here it is tested on the GALAXPERIA V2 rom, this is the result
New flat touchwiz icons extracted from Note Pro tablets.
Flash in recovery, restart, first boot will take some time.
DOWNLOAD
(I recommend using this with stock ROMs/apps only, may not work correctly on ported apps from Note 3 (except the launcher)

Works on DN3.1 except no change in setting and only a few icons changed, not all
Great work!! Thanx man. Working me well. I using SupreamBean v3. But some icons not change: Contacts, Browser, S Calendar, Files and Settings. Others and power menu changed and looking perfect! I think you will fix. I'm waiting bro!

Thats because you are using Note 3 ports.
If you could send me APK files of unchanged apps that would be great.

After flashing this MOD, nothing changes for the icons. Not a single icon gets change. Not sure if someone has the same problem as I have. Hope you can solve this out Kik0o. Cheers!

Didn't change all the icons neither, icons for my files, calculator,s planner, internet and contacts remain unchanged though this one changed the icons in settings which the one in op didn't. Atleast thats how it is on my phone with dn3.1.

i aplied the modified theme in DN 3 v3.2 but in settings the icons is to litle ( with the dpi set to 240 ). Please if posible to provide a flashable zip with the original icons in settings or the new one with biger layout for 240 dpi. Thank's in advance...
Edit : With 360 dpi is the same : a little bigger but stil to little compared to original icons....

I flashed this over a clean install of Sac's rom v3 and have the same thing. No other themes were flashed. The only quick setting that seems to have your theme is the flashlight toggle. I don't think it's your file. Probably something to do with this having a lot of the s5 theme and settings incorporated in it. Hope that helps.

I looked through your other thread and I'm pretty sure it is only the quick settings toggles that are not being themed. I'll keep an eye out though and thanks for this option. Your theme looks great.

All of the toggles are the s5 theme. I also noticed that the in call screen is not themed but not sure if you touched that. Would you like me to take this to your other thread?

u will need to contact with yr rom developer to know which mod he applied 2 force the S5 icons not 2 be themed

Hey guys. I just downloaded this theme and I am running the sacs rim as well. This is a pretty awesome theme! To deal with the S5 toggles there is a link on of 119 of sacs rim thread you can flash and it will give the stock toggles. This theme will work once that is flashed..

I didn't quote but I gave an explanation of how to fix the toggles. It is just a matter of flashing the stock toggles. The theme woks fine then

The reason it doesn't get themed is because sacs theme uses the lidroid framework for toggles.
The battery files in 4.4.2 kitkat are coded now so it makes themeing the battery much more difficult. It's why xbattery xposed module won't work anymore. If you modify the systemui you can do it which is why xnote will theme the battery but it's not a simple fix for noobs.

By using this it changes build.prop/ro.product.name from SM-N900S to hltespr which changes the toggles but then we lose the themeing of the WiFi icon, it reverts to white again??????????
Then my contacts FCs and you can't make a call! Not a good way to do things.
We need something more to make this change without creating more problems.

It will be hard to do, I can't find dialer and contacts apk from S5 firmware and I don't have an S5 to make it the same If someone gives me the Contacts and Dialer apk from S5 I will theme them
