Ok so my polaroid s10 is stuck at the boot logo and I can't find anything on how to fix it. Please someone help me fix this :crying:
Best fix is using your receipt to return it and spend a little more on a 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3 or a Nexus 7 (2012). Should cost $160 or less and you'll find a lot more support- even though both will work fine right out of the box.

Unfortunately that is not an option for me. Would like to know how to reset/reflash or whatever to get the boot up past the startup screen. The tablet was working fine for a couple of months an then all of sudden this happened.

U can reflash stock filmware from polaroid southern telecom site or use guessyest rooted tweeked rom over at freaktab forum.

Hey, I have two Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1's and I am slightly baffled as one has a Samsung Logo on the screen and one doesn't. When I say on the screen, I mean on the glass. I bought them both used so I am not sure wth is going on lol. They are both GT-P7510 models. If you know anything about this mystery, please let me know

One is a US model and the other an EU. My Tab 10.1 also doesn't have the SAMSUNG logo on its front however it is still the GT-P7510.
The original US model didn't have the logo, but after sending it in for repair (newton's rings) it came back with the logo-infested-screen. I was sad for about 10 seconds about it, then moved on with my life.

Most of us here,has went through 2 or 3 tablet and still has LIGHT BLEED,DEAD PIXEL and YELLOWISH COLOR etc....
Just went to my local Staples and bought 4 unit,not open yet ,already return 3 device to GOOGLE base on the same problem.
Hope the one from staple will be the GOOD ONE...
If the 4 tablet is not good, i am still going to pursue the hunt for a good one...

One guy has a thread up stating that when he sent it in to Samsung they managed to reduce the light bleed, but in his photos it is still visible at 0 percent brightness.

I feel lucky that I only have a dark shading near my camera and some weird buzzing coming from the back lol.... Tablet hasn't reset on me yet!
Waiting 3 to 5 business day for Samsung to call me back with the service request. I bought it at Walmart, and no other Walmart near me has had it in stock since I bought it. If they have it in stock before Samsung calls me back, I may try exchanging it there instead. But I'm going to demand Samsung checks the replacement screen and checks again!
You can also wait until the second batch comes out and return it to Google then.

Just called Google and their going to cross-ship a unit to me, at least that's how it sounded like. Needs a credit card and everything which is fine for me
I personally prefer this over anything else as I can inspect my replacement unit and it ensures I get a completely different unit.
The issue is about screen getting glitched output. I don't think this is a software issue. There is some hardware issue because I tried flashing 5.0, 5.0.2, 5.1.1 still problem persists. Randomly at any time the glitched screen like seen in the pic is popped up in between from any app or just home screen. First i thought some app may be causing this but its not the issue. I deleted all the apps still this problem stays.
If you purchased off Google they'll repair or replace. 1 year you get.

I've been spreading word in xda about the same issues. If you search the Q/A forum, you'd find too many people having this issue. This is due to a faulty GPU when the device heats up excessively. Recurrent issue in a Nvidia chip. If you bought it recently within 30 days on eBay, I'd suggest you return your device and claim your money back. Else I'm afraid you are screwed since neither HTC nor Google offer warranty if purchased through unofficial sources in India.

Unfortunately your Nexus 9 is toast. This happened to my first one and it got so bad it would happen during boot and I couldn't get any further. HTC was next to unless. Delt with them for 3 weeks trying to get an exchange. They are clueless. They wanted to try flashing stock image over and over. I'm like dude, I'm a Nexus owner. Don't you know your customer base? Anyways, best buy agreed to exchange it for a new one if I bought their premium protection plan, which I did gladly. But it is a hardware failure. There's no fixing it.
I just had my day one nexus replaced for the same issue last week. Had been getting worse for months. I called warranty service, told them about the screen corruption/noise/lockup issue needing a mainboard replacement. sent my tablet back and they overnited me a replacement that appears brand new (mine was mint condition as well). Still has lightbleed and so-so buttons but works great and I've put it through its paces. Only thing I had to tell them was the serial # but I was the original amazon purchaser.
Is it a newer build date than your original?
I had an experience similar to techiedj's. Got my old N9 replaced by Google a few weeks ago. Replacement looked brand new, but is actually an older built with slightly crappier buttons. Curious how long this one will last now...
These are the symptoms that I saw: At some point the screen started to flicker for a few seconds, then froze, and slowly turned black. After a few second I could turn on the display again. The area on the back next to the camera had become hot, but apps that read the sensor values did not really show high temperature (50 degrees or so). A good way to trigger it was to open Chrome and open multiple pages in a short time (opening different links in new tabs). Surprisingly, seemingly GPU intense games were less affected by this than Chrome. Factory reset did not help, even when I skipped the initial login/restore apps step.
Hopefully they aren't all doomed to this fait at some point. I have best buys replacement plan now, so this this can die early Jan 2017 and I'll get whatever the new Nexus is then.

I went from an AE to an AF. Hard to believe best buy still had old stock, but I guess they didn't sell a lot of these. Buttons are nearly perfect on this one though. Way more tactile and the volume up isn't sunken in.
So this is what happened. I successfully rooted my device and installed Link2sd and then i tried to make my launcher8 app as a system app using link2sd and everything worked fine. as soon as i rebooted my device the device only shows dell logo and then a black screen, It's not even a bootloop. what went wrong ? and how do i fix it? I googled a lot but can't find a reliable source to flash the stock Rom package . any help would be great

I know this is little off topic but it is about dell venue 7(3740) 3g LTE version. So I want to ask is does your dell venue 7 hangs a lot because I have just purchased from flipkart and it hangs like hell. I can't even open 2tabs in chrome and even in uc browser after opening 3 tab it hang. What should I do about I want suggestions from you guys since you are also using dell venue 7 3740. Should I go to service centre and should i, then what should I say to them?? Please help me out there guys??

My Dell venue 7 LTE is running perfectly fine. How many days ago u bought it? I have been using past 1 month, it's not the fastest device around but it can definitely run chrome with 10 tabs on. You should get your device tested though service center in case you got a faulty one.

And I have called to dell costumer service center they gave me some basic troubleshooting tips(hard reset and etc.). And that didn't worked for me.
One more thing I would like to ask is for what purpose you use your tablet? For me I just use it for social networking, reading books and browsing internet, and mostly for practising mock tests even then my tab freezes like hell. So when I go to service center what should I say to them. Can you please help me out.☺

I mainly use it for browsing Internet and gaming. Tell them your device is getting hanged all the time. Make sure u unroot the device if u r rooted.

Same question for me.... I already posted of lenovo forum question, but having BIG ISSUE that i cannot start HOTSPOT.... It says always error for me and hotspot don't even start on.... Seems what i have found, it has some bug in settings (i suppose) because have always "setting" notification and can't even to get myself to HotSpot option - it says Settings app stopped working... This is driving me crazy, i need hotspot, hope new global update come out soon >.<
p.s. if anyone can help me to fix it?

I hope to get a few updates at least, stable 11 with a few gaming features is all I ask.
I'll keep it for 2 years max anyway.
I will be using as my daily driver coming from an Oppo Find X2 Pro

have UK model too, delivered last week... This phone looks pretty interesting (saying this as user "old ROG 2", but what i honestly dislike is.... Extreme temperatures... i tried to activate rampage mode - this phone is extremely HOT!!!! Tested while 5-10 mins playing Celtic Heroes (144 fps - seems there's no cap so ok, i got it those temps will raise higher...) - 57 degrees of C and it still raising.... Phone is HOT, well, it's summer in my room i have about 38 degrees, but still.... Thinking about buying cooler -> FunCooler Pro 2 - which according some tester from YT is right now the most TOP... Other thing "air triggers are... well honestly much weird... They work great, but that "sensitive" spot is kinda meh and compared with ROG2 it's total downgrade.... so today i ordered some triggers on eBay and will see how it looks like to play with them.... And last thingie i noticed is their android modificated system.... I don't like it, it's weird and customization is well hard to say, but annoying in some things... I wonder in future how i will see that buy of mine if it was worth it or not.... Personally i think "gaming" phones still need some time, like about 2-3 years yet

Ups knocked the next day, demanding £95 import fees which Lenovo forgot to pay. I am waiting for Lenovo to pay the fees so I can have my phone. Not happy and yes I am uk

Yeh mine just keeps saying check for details the next day ect if they mess around much more I'll just cancel it
I've also heard bad stories about the inport fees not been paid if that's the case I'll definitely be cancelling
Been on the phone to both companies and ups saying then need a copy of the invoice from lenovo before it passes customs
Well I've finally got the device after 4 weeks and it's quite nice a few software bugs which I hope at least they fix them in software updates as that's all it needs (things like alarms not working and notifications doesn't seem to be working) does anyone have any fixes for these?
