Probably a memory issue. The 9300 has only 1GB of RAM and sometimes it closes apps to be able to open other apps. Probably your S3 is killing the widget to free some memory for other programs. This happens to me to (not always) with the stock widget too.

You have any special themes or how do you reach the pref -> lp widget settings -> facebook -> logon -> allow lp to reach your facebook , and this last allow lp to reach your facebook just dont work! Cant scroll scroll down to it
And when i can scroll down to the allow button i cant push it!

yeah launcher pro is working gr8
It's the first app I install when update to 2.1. Never though of the other launcher again. Especially like the friends widget showing you feeds from facebook and twitter and the ability to reply or comment from your homescreen unlike the crappy timescape which is slow to update and use browsers to do any action.

Hi,
I have the paid version but still i cant push allow on the facebook widget, after i added the widget i need to do allow with a web window that connect to facebook ... Thats where it goes wrong
If I do the following:
- Scroll to the top of the page (by swiping downwards on the screen) and removes my finger from the screen and
- Scrolls to the buttom of the page (by swiping upwards on the screen) NOT removing my finger from the screen
I can se both buttons at the buttom right corner as long as I keep my finger on the screen, but it is still not possible to press the button.
I hope someone can help.

Holy mother of battery power Changed my phone setup to use Launcher Pro instead of ADW launcher. Having all other settings such as number of home screen, widget placement and refresh time on widgets the same. I have gone from recharging every 3-4 hours to the phone lasting a whopping full day Seems like ADW was clashing big time with something on the phone.
I like the speed and response time. It is much faster than ADW, and there is the promise of more speed once the complete rewrite of Launcher Pro comes Very happy LP Plus user here
I am using this launcher (very good app) but i have a problem. At Android system info in section Tasks I have task "android.process.acore(package: com.fede.launcher)" which is running with 100% CPU.
Do you have something similar?
(my english is not good)
Got the paid version today like the htc sense hope to see clock and weather widgets aswell but awesome launcher turns the x10 mini into a beast.

I had the same issue.. I switched to landscape mode and that let me get to the button (despite it being a bit off to the side I could still press it)
Hey Guys is this better than ADW . i want to install one of them. prefer me one of these !
Sometimes i forgot i left some apps running in the back ground.
and not all apps can hibernate, some of them cause wake locks.
so it will be nice if there's a widget that display how many apps are currently running.
the default touch widz has a widget called "active applications"
it works and get the job done, tapping on it launches the task manager, another good thing about it.
the problem is, why on earth is it a 2x1 widget?
its a real waste of screen real estate.
is there any widget out there in the market that is 1x1 and does the same function?
Closest thing I know to what you're looking for is this. Install System Tuner Pro from market (costs a few bucks. This might even be possible with the free/non-pro version). Once installed, you can put a shortcut to Task Manager on your homescreen which is a 1x1 icon.
From task manager you can show only non-system apps currently running, or you can include system apps & even kernel processes. Click on an app/process & you can kill it with one button press.
Hope this is kinda what you were looking for
Edit to add - This is possible with the free version, but you have to put up with annoying ads :-/

Hi folks,
Noticed some slowdown with with Xperia Ray when i've a few things going on, like maybe listening to poweramp, and browsing the web, skype open and if i press the home button, the screen takes a couple of seconds to redraw. I have a few things running, im using Widget locker for my lockscreen, and fancy widgets to give me something like the HTC Sense homescreen with time/weather info..
Is there anything bar removing these widgets/apps i can do to increase performance? i've moved any apps i can that are installed to main memory to the SD card
Cheers,
Mick

i have noticed this with all the android devices i had x10mini pro, dellstreak, htc sensation, now xperia mini pro.
Hi developers
i have loading delay on my Sam.GS3
when i use an application or work for 2-3 minutes on setting or ...
and then back to main menu OR press Home key to back to home
i see delay to load shortcuts or widgets, or when wanna back to main menu delay to load apps icons and etc.
i cleared the cache and closed all running apps (but just system apps.)
but still i see delay.
however i had this problem on Xperia Arc, Xperia S but i could free RAM and then i could see that the smartphone work faster and more responsible
BUT now Galaxy S III (however) it has QuadCore processor But i have problem and cannot clear RAM and cache.
what s your opinion and what should i do to have faster mobile and real quadcore access.

U got 2 ways to fix this problem:
1) go to setting-->Developer options-->Window animation scale and Transition animation scale set to off or 0.5x (this should be help)
2) Root your device and install titanium backup, it allow u to freeze apps, like some samsung background apps eg: allshare.etc u can close it through there
then it can save ur ram.
Hope this could help u.
It's a problem with the launcher. Samsung is taking a play out of Apple's book here. They've configured the launcher such that when ram demands are high, regardless of how much free ram is left, the launcher closes so that the current app will run smoothly and the user will be unaware of the decrease in ram. Sadly, not everyone likes this.

U can flash OMEGA rom, for example, which has all the tweaks U will ever need, and it comes with omega kitchen preinstalled, and there U can find different kernels, to improve battery life, mods to reduce home button lag, etc..

But it may not cure your problem 100% .
TRYLag
for the home button lag - disable the home button when pressed for S-voice.
I also got transitions & pop-ups set to 0.5x rather than 1x (in dev options under settings)
Surfing the net pressing home button and find the home screen reloads. So bit of a lag which is very annoying, until samsung sort this out with a software update there is a work around. Simply disable s-voice from.settings that's it. I haven't actually experienced screen reload since.
Let me know if this works for you or not.
Try this
Untick under s-voice settings the following:
Launch S Voice
Wake up command
Under application manager go to running select s-voice and stop all services.
Go to all and disable s-voice. This will remove the app from app draw list too, you can also disable chat on app too.
This should stop the app running in the background.

i did and also disabled allshare of samsung but still i have delay to reload home screen.
it s too little delay to load widgets and shortcuts on my home screens.
and maybe it s normal ?! is it?
(but with Quad core processor and delay, it s annoying!)
I've noticed that the home launcher is being killed after opening apps such as google chrome snapchat or even gallery. It is annoying staying 5 seconds to see the launcher. Multitasking is almost impossible. How can I stop killing the home launcher?

Welcome to a phone which is poorly optimized, a ui which takes up a lot of memory and so on. And most of all, a discount mini version of a phone.
Sent from my LG-D620 using XDA Free mobile app
It is now 90% solved.. using RAM Manager pro with hard multitasking active, lock launcher in memory and VM heap size to 256. Also tried swap file but after creation it seems that it doesn't work after looking in memory info.
