[Q] Annoying Behavior I9200 XSE XXUBMJ4 - Samsung Galaxy Mega

Hallo Everyone,
I'd like to ask that if anyone ever has language changing problem.
Here's My Last System :
at first I bought I9200 device with XSE XXUMAEE firmware and I rooted without problem also my language was set into English ( U K ),
before upgrade to XSE XXUBMJ4 my default language always stay at English ( U K ). After I upgrade into XSE XXUBMJ4 my default language sometimes changed into Indonesian Language, when I changed into english ( U K ) again and I try to restart or shutdown and when it start its language changed back to indonesian. Please help, This condition really annoying. I ever try to rollback into XXUMAEE again and my XSE XXUMAEE also experiencing language problem, always changed into Indonesian. PLEASE HELP ANYONE. :crying:

Did you try clearing you Dalvik cache and set permission in your recovery after you installed the update as that might help..unless you phone is not rooted as I don't remember if the stock recovery has those options..but worth a try.

If you are on Stock ROM then Kies should allow you to install the latest official KF3 firmware. Anyway, you can flash it via Odin too, here is the firmware link,

And change your Language to English UK from English US under Settings- Language and Keyboard.

You didn't read what ITheHappy told you? Change the Language setting from English US to English UK.....that should fix it.

need right link to download the official stock rom for sgs2 indian version. what ever shown in this thread is not having the download package, either it is removed or it is not accessible.

Why not go to Intratech's thread of stck firmwares.
Then Find the one which had IND CSC.
Download and install.
ALl the necessary instuction on flashing etc are on the same thread.

i purchase my gs3 from usa last week
i purchased the international version gt i9300
when i first opened the phone it was in spanish so i guess it is flashed with the spanish firmware and it doesnt have an arabic keyboard
anyway , i want to flash it with the stock middle east arabic firmware JP , can i do that ???

Yes. Find the firmware you need from samfirmware.com and flash using odin

[Q] CSC : Unknown with ICS 4.04 XWLPX Nordics Countries

Hi,
I first apologize for my english, but this is not my native langage
So, I've got an issue with my SGS2... At the beginning, the phone freeze while I was on the phone internet browser. I 've retired the battery in order to de-freeze it. At the rebbot, impossible to reach my mobile carrier (in France, Free Mobile).
A *#1234# return a "CSC : Unknown".
I've done a full wipe, reinstall via Odin the last ROM, XWLPX from Nordics Countries. My phone run fine, but I still have the CSC : Unknown.
I'm at the moment on XWLPX Nordics Countries with CF-Root 5.6-NEE-LPX...
What's going wrong ? Is this important ? How can I solve it ? It's not seem to be "urgent" because the phone is running fine (apparently), but...

Same here. Can you use different languages in Samsung's keyboard ? I can't.
I'm using swype and yes, I can switch from french to english, and english to french without any problem.

- Use this app to change your csc code to your country of choice: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.manniakk.cscselector&hl=en
- Backup your data (the process will wipe your data)

The only thing you are missing right now, is the ability to change Samsung keyboard language.
There are better keyboard alternatives in market, that will give the possibility to change whatever you want.

I have the same problem since I have flashed my S3 with ICS 4.04 XWLPX Nordics Countries.
My CSC is unknown but the phone seems to work fine. I will leave it like this.

Your S3 ? You mean S2 right ?
Because this firmware is for S2...

no simcard no bluetooth no wifi after upgrading

after i upgraded from 4.2.2 (United emarits) to 4.2.2(uzpakistan) via odin ... wifi , bluetooth not working sim card is not inserted and i can't go to recovery at all ...... i tried to re install 4.2.2 (United emarits) via odin but the problem still.
P.S : on setting menu the baseband version is unknown
any idea what happen and how to solve it ?????
Looks like you have lost your imei, why I don't know.
In theory Installing stock ROM should solve this issue but as per your description your problem started because of that.
Go to the Samsung care center and play dumb, that seems like the only solution sadly.

I also got in to the same problem.I have done with same region only..[I9200xxuamed to I9200xxucnb1]XSG
facing Base band unknown and IMEI Null. Have u solved u r problem...

I think it may be IMEI null problem. I know that when show IMEI problem then it are not lifted again. But if you think you can again go in your previous version. And again and again try to install present version. if it is not possible then i think it's just prob. with update software..
