Hi,
is it possible to put ICS apps (like stock browser, camera, etc...) into JB system apps? if it is, is it a matter of just putting the ics apps on the jb system app folder?
Thanks..
:highfive:
I need CM10 messenger on my Xperia.Mostly I need message popups and quick reply functions.
I'm using Xperia ultimate HD rom which is ICS.
So pulling out Mms.apk from CM10 rom and pushing it to /system/app/ doesn't work and also I tried few other modified versions and nothing worked just FC when starting the app.
There is a ported JB messenger on playstore but it doesn't have message popup function.
Any one can help me to find a ported CM10 messenger to ICS? or I can compile it my self if someone can tell me how to port a JB app to ICS.
Is there a way to restore the stock ICS xperia 2011 messaging for xNXT rom superlite instead of xNXT messaging app?

Yup , seacrh for the keyboard you want . It should be a flashable zip file . Delete keyboard apps in system folder using root explorer . Flash the zip . Done !! Always make a backup in case something happened .
Hi. I have a PMID705X running the stock Jelly Bean ROM, which has been rooted. I have noticed that with both the stock ICS and Jelly Bean ROMs the People app is missing. Both Contacts.apk and ContactsProvider.apk are present in the /system/app folder. I tried the directions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1858937 and changed the app permissions, but it is still missing. Any idea how to get the People app to show up?
