Since I can't post in the dev thread...
I have noticed a couple issues, anyone else seeing the same/have solutions?
Full wipe, lite install of Neatrom 5.5.
After any reboot of the phone, the battery % number doesn't show, even though I have set the setting to show the % and it is still ticked after a reboot. Stock battery theme.
If I tap a couple times on the notification bar to the left of the cell signal bar, the screen will turn off and go into standby mode, pressing the power button then returns me to the lockscreen. Is this normal behaviour?

Am I using this app wrong or something? It lags the crap out of my device. Takes about a full two seconds to turn the screen on with it, and even then I have to wait a second or two to swipe my MIUI slider.
And god forbid I try and use the Laptop dock. If I plug my phone in with the dock, my phone sits there and I have to push the power button several times to get a response from the phone, where it promptly turns the screen off again and denies me from booting into WebTop.
I can't say I've seen that problem on my phone. How many widgets do you have on your lock screen? Have you tried running widgetlocker with only the slider to see if that resolves the issue?
I've got minimal text for time, and minimal text for the date. Then the MIUI slider. Even with just the slider, it lags like crazy.
Never had a problem. Just hit my unlock, then my back arrow and zero lag to my homescreen. Try the back button option over the slider. Maybe the slider is causing the lag.
EDIT: Just added the Miui slider and still no lag. Not sure what you have going on, sorry.
Flashed the latest Backside yesterday (was using the 1017 build of same ROM). Everything seemed great until I tried to put it in silent mode using the notification pull down power widget. The status bar process FC'd. After a few seconds, an empty status bar came back (no clock, icons, anything). Problem persisted after a reboot. Didn't have time to experiment further, so I nandroid restored back to the 1017 build. Would have put this in the "development" forum, but I'm too new of a user, so sorry 'bout that.
screen wont shut off when charging with usb. stay awake is unchecked in the development menu.
using beast mod amaze 4g
Theme question
I just made this account also so i cant post yet. Im using beast mod for about a day also and i've noticed that the theme kinda gets in the way a little. ex. the status bar tabs the txt is nearly invisible, in the Calendar the little red line the shows you the time in reference to your schedule is black and is a little hard to find sometimes. Is there an un-themed version of beastMOD or a way return the theme to stock colors ? By the way beastmod rocks!!
display time out
the process that controls the screen timeout and the popup menu with shortcuts for power down, airplane mode and reboot has crashed forcing me to have to pull the battery out when i wanna reboot. And push the power button to shut off the screen. tried hard reset reflashing rom. screen times out now but still no power button menu.
Guys i have some problems with ICS..
1. Can’t take screenshots with power button + volume
2. Laggy homescreen takes a second to load apps icon
3. slow charge
4. a strange icon, something like a black or trasparent "N" on white brackground, in the status bar
...i flashed it with flashtools and wipe on. And i lost all of my data in flashing it.
Something went wrong?
Data loss wasn’t a problem but now the phone is very laggy, what do you suggest and what is that strange icon?
the N thingy = NFC
I don't have the slow charge problem, but the laggy homescreen yes.. though it will disappear after a few hours after flashing:silly:
Home Screen is pretty smooth here...
Almost equal time for charging(comparing GB & ICS).
I have been running my Tablet Z (pollux_windy) on the latest Oreo release (15.1) . Have installed a few nightly updates - but the problem below keeps occurring.
It generally runs really well - but I have discovered something that seems to be causing issues for me and wondered if anyone else has the same issue.
I like to use the full real estate of the screen, so found the Settings/Display/Expanded desktop setting that lets you hide the top status bar and the lower navigation keys go into autohide mode (you swipe up from the bottom of the screen to see them).
First time I enabled them all seemed great - Then I left the tab and the screen timed out.
I tried to wake it up (using the power button or double tap on the screen) - Nothing.
Tried this quite a few times over a few minutes.
Did a Hard power off.
Restarted eventually. Seemed ok until the screen blanked out - then the same as above.
I did eventually get the screen to wake back up without a reboot by trying the double tap and quick press of the power key. But it took quite a few attempts.
Finally I turned the full screen mode off (ie brings back the status bar and nav controls) and everything was back to normal behaviour - ie always wakes back up when required.
I have tried changing the expanded desktop mode several times and it always locks things up after the screen times out so have now given up on it.
Anyone else finding that setting this mode causes lockups?

Hello!
Please write your problem to an official bugreport https://wiki.lineageos.org/bugreport-howto.html to let the LOS developers team about the encountered issue.
Thanks. Signed up to add the fault and found someone witha different device reporting the same bug around a week ago.
Added my confirmation of the problem with different hardware.
Fingers crossed someone may have a look at it when time allows.
