Hi,
Recently i bought a nexus 7 (2013)
and upgraded it to android 4.4 .
I found out how to create a folder on my "desktop" (drag one icon over a other icon)
Now my question how can i create a folder in the "apps" menu? (Create a map to group icons together)
I could create folder in app menu with my samsung S3 min and samsung tab2 (android 4.2)
Annyone got a idea?
Kind Regards
Wco
You'll need another launcher (many choice in Play Store) for that. It's not possible to make folders in the app drawer using stock launcher.

Hi people of xda, i have a new problem. I like the rom's of cyanogen mod, but i have a litle problem. I want the original samsung apps's of:
Contacts
Messaging
MyFiles
Memo
JobManager
Dialer
Calculator
Calendar
PD: I did a lot of thing like:
use adb server on cmd to push the apps on /system/app/
Changing the apps of the update.zip
But no results ....
Most of stock apps don't work on CM because the need Touchwiz framework and other lib's to run the are not in the CM rom. I tried to run Memo and Messaging and nothing work. If don't like the CM apps try to search alternatives on Android Market for example as Messaging app I use Go SMS Pro and as Memo I use Wizard Memo.
Either download something else from or go back to stock, they will not work on CM because they are a part of touchwiz and CM doesn't have any part of touzhwiz at all

Hey everyone,
I've created my own app as unsigned apk and its running on my tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 P7500).
I don't like the original launcher and I would like my app to be the launcher.
Is it possible to switch it?
Must I add any code so that android will recongnize it as a launcher?
Thx
Ok I found the solution.
There must be made some changes in the manifest (activity and intent)
Hi everybody,
I'm trying to add new emojis to mms.apk of cm9...
(Like emoji 2 for Iphone in iOS 5.1+ and in Whatsapp)
I'm not so practice with application development, so I'm here to ask if anybody can help me...
I have decompiled the original app, added the new emojis in res/drawable (png 40x40 32bit), added the strings in public.xml but now I can't go on...
I tried to rebuild and sign app, but when i put in in my system folder and try the mms application, new emojis don't appear anywhere...
Can someone tell me where I'm wrong or what I'm missing?
Thank you all for your attention
Regards
Stefano

Hi folks!
I'm on PhoeniX V18.5 which is a Touchwiz based Android 4.4.2 ROM.
I have S Note which works great so far but I also want the old S Memo app because the note sorting and the pen thickness was way better there. I know that S Memo has been "fused" into S Note by Samsung but anyway: I want S Memo too.
Unfortunately I can't seem to get it running.
Tried to push the apk to system/apps and set permissions which caused the app to appear after a phone reboot. I'm even able to start it but creating a new note inside the app causes to crash. I then tried installing the zip version of the app with PhilZ which gave me a "(bad)" in logs and didn't work. Any solutions to help me out please?
Hi there,
Yesterday i replaced my SystemUI.apk and i backupped the original one.
Today i replaced the new SystemUI.apk and SystemUI.odex but now it won't load.
Also it's not shown in Settings > Apps > All Apps and now i doesn't have a status bar or navigation bar.
How can i fix it? Asus won't send me the stock firmware..
It's on my tablet on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
The tab is a Asus Memo Pad 10 (ME102A)
Kind Regards,
