I am using cm 10.2 (legacyxperia). I want to know if there is any way to make those call back options which come for missed calls always appear no matter how many notifications are there? as far as I have noticed the call back option appears automatically only if the missed call is only notification at that time, otherwise I need to expand the missed call notification. is there any way to make that option appear automatically always?

There's been this issue with the Nike that when you enable vibration on incoming SMS alerts, it will at a certain point vibrate endlessly, and the only way to stop the vibration is to pull out the battery (if I can recall it right, even a soft reset won't stop it).
I don't know if there has been a fix for this already but I'm just gonna post this for people who wants their phone to vibrate when receiving SMS
The workaround is really simple, just download the app OS Remind Me here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=405071&highlight=hide+sim+contacts
Enable the vibration option and check the option "Unread SMS". On the "Alarm Sound" option, choose another kind of sound, one that makes less noise like the Default.wav, BECAUSE it will play at the same time with your default SMS alert tone and will mix up the sounds. Finally, make sure the program is running! Don't close it, use the "hide" function so it stays up and running.
And taadaaaaa... every time someone texts you it will vibrate
Thank you to whoever made this app!
I have litening Rom 5 installed & running Go Launcher. I notiiced that when I was receiving text messages or when it was on silent I did not get the vibration alert. I then changed the settings so that the its set to vibration always and the icon appears on the top. However when I go into the pull down screen the sound icon is gone?
All I want is to be able to put the phone in silent and it will vibrate when I receive a text message or a phone call. The same goes when its not in silent. Also how can I tell if phone is in silent mode as its not given me the sound icon on the pull down menu?
Is it something simple I am missing more than likely
Confused
If the option in Dropdown menu is missing then just hold Power button, you will see the first option as Silent mode/Sound is Off/On.
And I didn't get you clearly on the SMS vibration part, just make sure that 'Vibrate always' is enabled under Settings- Sound- Vibration.
Regards.
I have just installed Chomp SMS on my samsung s2 running andyx v12 rom, its my first time using a different sms app and i do really like chomp a lot and would like to keep it, on my phone i have 2 issues though.
1. in the notifications settings i have notifications ticked and i have vibrate set to always vibrate. The problem i am having is when i get a text, i get the status bar notification but my phone doesnt vibrate at all which i have always relied on a lot when at work etc..
2. also in the notification settings there an option for screen comes on which i have ticked, it says that if the phone is off, it will come alive breifly when i get a text, but my phone isnt doing that either.
When i used the stock sms all these things worked, i have turned notifications off on my stock sms as i had read this was best so you dont get 2 notifications.
in my system settings vibrate is also set to on for notifications etc..
does anyone know what could be the issue, or are my above questions actually just the way chomp works?
thanks
james
Somehow I lost the ability to choose a MMS sound independent of the notification sound. Not sure what happen but all of a sudden after 2 weeks on the ROM it just changed out of nowhere. Weird thing is on the options menu it'll pick and play a sound, after the option closes out it'll show my chosen ringtone instead of the sound I picked, but actually play the default notification sound? The same thing goes for trying to chose a custom vibrate pattern for texts.
Before the KitKat update, there was a feature that was simple but very effective and I absolutely miss it. Let's say you were in any application and someone called you, you would receive a call pop up from the bottom of the screen with three options (to accept call, deny call, I do not recall the last one) and when you decide to accept the call the popup would disappear and now your status bar would be green (to let you know that you are in the call) and you were able to keep doing what you were doing before the call (like multitasking the call and whatever you were doing). Since upgrading to KitKat, the popup shows up as normal but when I accept the call I am forced into the call screen. I've checked throughout my settings to see if it's an option to get it back but nothing . I am wondering if anyone knows a fix to this.

If I have to multitask, I just press home and it gets out of the call screen. I have that issue with my S-view flip cover when in a call it always goes to the call instead of what I was doing before. If you just press the home key, it should get you out of the call screen. It's something I always had to do even with JellyBean.
