Please i really need help.
I have searched the trouble shooting part of this forum but i didn't see anyone having the kind of problem i have now.
I was using leaked 4.2.2 when samsung released 4.3,and from there i updated to wanam lite 7.2(4.3).
after using 4.3 for some weeks i decided to go back to 4.2.2,after flashing 4.2.2 in Odin,i discovered that i have no gsm signal and mobile data and also a wrong Imei number,so i restored my backed up efs folder,rebooted and yet no network.
So i decided to delete the whole efs folder and replace with the one i backed up and after doing that i still did not get network.
i decided to installed an MG4 modem and after i did that i was able to get network and my imei number corrected itself too.
Now the strange problems am experiencing after going through the above includes;
1.after flashing a samsung stock 4.2.2 (in order to start afresh),my phone jumps the start up menu(where you find language selection,google signin etc) and go straight to home screen.
2.after a few seconds of loading the home screen i see a write up in yellow that never goes away unless am on another application(image attached).
3.if i press and hold the power button,instead of a pop up menu the phone shuts down.
4.any other rom that is not stock samsung based never boots.
5.i cant restore a previously made nandroid backup(it stops when restoring system)
with all the mentioned problems i can make and receive calls,use mobile data,also have a correct Imei.
i beg all the talented people here to help me out as i am not okay with the state of the phone....

I think this explains the aspect of not being able to install other roms , what about the screen shot I attached? .....the issue of jumping welcome page?

Okay now I understand my problem, before now I didn't know it is called FACTORYMODE. ..After a whole night of reading and trying, am finally able to resolve the problems...

I have a problem , after i flashed official 4.3 , it had so many bugs so i installed the 4.1.2 , but the SIM didn't work and the IMEI changed to 0049........... and serial changed to 00000000 so i flashed 4.3 again , the serial is now random numbers and the IMEI still 0049........... i tried formating , Ariza patch and rooting , but didn't work and afterwards the Lock screen is no longer there , if held the lock button the Restart Flight Mode Power OFF menu doesn't show up and closes instantly and then this appears HELP PLZ :crying: :crying:

I already searched for the past 2 days , all said flash another Firmware , nothing is there , all are Sim Unlocking and IMEI problems
so instead of blaming others although they aren't lazy

Your image is factory mode but as you have read the faqs and guides you already know that .
You need a service centre repair now as you have read and followed all the guides nothing left for us to tell you .

As i said on my thread title, I want to installing Custom ROM S4 Revolution v10 on my galaxy s3..
I'm coming from iP**** user and migrating to android, and i just know how to flashing official firmware via odin..
my phone status is unrooted, all official and i haven't installed any CWM..
so what i want to ask is how to install the S4 Revolution v10 on my galaxy s3, does it needs any requirement like CWM or anything ?

suggest you read the basics before bricking your phone by flashing roms in ignorance .

i have opened the root using CF root, but what i didn't understand it's not saying to wipe / reset factory setting..
does it needed after rooting my phone ? i have searched some other thread some of them saying to wipe the data, some of the others doesn't say anything about it..

I installed CM 4.4 ROM is unofficial then I did not like it so I put rum OMEGA V51 4.3 Suddenly I saw listed calls only so I tried to fix it at home and I could not so I went to the lab and they buy me a box with recording NSPRO now they stung me Rom 4.1. 2 and now I want to burn an altitude of OMEGA V51 I can without problems or that my IMEI will return to 0049

You can move to a custom Rom, but you will have problems if you don't understand the changes to the efs format.
Start by reading the sticky thread, efs 'know this stuff' in general forum. There is no ready answer and there are hundreds of similar posts, you are required to search before posting new threads.

I can not find you can show me something repaired the IMEI Box NSPRO his way or the other and managed to install a ROM without problems

now i am on EMF6 stock rom and i was having the 0000 serial number problem and got it fixed by ariza patch v0.5
i want to flash mj9 rom..i know that there will be a problem with the efs thing
so what steps should i make before flashing the rom?

Yes, there will be a problem with your serial number, you will lose network connection. Patched modem will probably help but you'll have to try before you'll know.
Else stay with your current rom, as everything works.
This information is already available in many, many threads -starting a new one so that you get a personal answer, also dictating to the moderators is pretty arrogant.

Then do so, but your phone will stop working. A patched modem thread was made for people who'd used ariza, search for it.

I'm afraid but we do not allow discussions on imei modifications (in contrast to those on backup/restore). The good members here have already shown you a path, it is your choice to walk through it. If you expect someone to hold your hand and feed you all the steps, then that's not gonna happen.

I upgraded my I9300 to 4.3 and that's when I got the issue where in my WiFi does not work. I tried the ARIZA patch and it resolves the WiFi but my IMEI shows Unknown which causes my S3 not to recognize my SIM card and now a yellow text overlay comes up on my homescreen about my phone details, another thing is that I don't have a Power menu, S3 goes straight off when I press the power button. So I decided to downgrade to 4.1.2 but then again same problem existed which now includes back the WiFi which is not working. Please help.. :crying:

I downgraded to 4.1.2 then re-root it since I lost root after the downgrade.
