[Q] Wrong CWM - i9300 - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I made a BIG mistake and i put the cwm for i9500 on my phone and now my touchscreen is not working. Do you guys think that it is possible that burned the digitizer?
1) I already inserted the right CWM after the mistake
2) Even with the stock rom the touch still not working.
Please help!

Try to wipe everything and flash again.. or return to stock

Please give more details like what android version and kernel you were using. And from your signature are you using S1?
Sent from my potato running a potato.
Try Odin happen to me once PC didn't recognize but Odin still did. Go to stickies section in Sgs2 section find stock ROM flash after I plugged in to kies and it did the rest. This method worked for me twice when all I had was a flickering black screen. Hope it works with U. Try to put into download mode three bottom press. PM if U need more help.

Guessing that you have hard bricked the phone, due to doing wipe on stock rom.
Not much you can do, a new motherboard is required
Can you enter download mode?
Download mode is entered by Volume Down + Home + Power pressed simultaneously when your phone is off.
Sounds like your motherboard is toast. you got warrenty? maybe theres hope
nope
no compassion at all.
If you had read just a little bit about rooting / flashing, you would have known that you should not do a CWM factory reset on stock 4.0.4 rom.
Just like here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1756242
and here:
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/hard-brick-bug-on-galaxy-s-ii-and-note-leaked-ics-kernels/
...and so on.
I guess you have to tell your friend that you ruined his phone

You require a service centre repair but first try flashing your original stock rom .
Thats two phones you break in as many days .

Is there anyway to revert to stock ROM. After trying CMW, custom roms, stock builds, tried it all however whenever I try to boot to system, it stays at the SAMSUNG logo screen. Won't move past that. Any ideas?

You can flash kernal through AIO toolkit.
Just connect your phone in recovery mode and start that soft in PC.
For flashing kernal..file..
And your phone will be booted up
..
The above guy has done the thing that I told

To boot your phone in recovery mode, you can go to developer settings in your phone, select USB debugging and boot it in recovery mode using the amaze toolkit 4.1 or All-in-One toolkit for the amaze.

You can also download a rebooter on the play store. That will help you reboot your phone into recovery mode.
