Here are screen shots of me recording some gestures. It will not always record properly.

Two finger straight swipe to the right
Single straight swipe to the left
Two finger straight swipe to the left
As you can see, they all glitch in the same spot.
If anyone has this app, could you try it out and confirm that this is a device specific or app specific problem?

I have never reached out to the dev but I don't think GMD Gesture Control works very well with the Nook HD+ for some reason. I applied custom swipe gestures using the letter method and it fails 50% of the time to register it. Sometimes it seems like the screen "sleeps" and only realizes the gesture after a second or third try. Nook HD+ has always had a crappy touch sensitivity digitizer thingamabob. It doesn't feel very accurate.

now pretend Kenny Powers has a SGSIII in his left hand...
i'm pretty sure i saw video of people swiping the screen with their entire palm from right to left.
You swipe all the way from left or right to the other side of the screen with the side of your hand. It's enabled by default in "Motion" options.
Not working?
My motion actions are not working? When I first opened the phone the swipe to get a screenshot feature worked. Now it does not. i checked the setttings and it is enabled, so I'm confused. Also, when I cover the screen while playing music it doesnt pause the music like its supposed to? Do I have a lemon? Ive tried rebooting to no avail.
Please help!!
So, I have this unpowered, universal dock. When I put my phone in it, landscape, obviously it does not rotate the home or application selection screen. How do I get landscape on the Note 2? When launching apps, it rotates properly. I'm used to my Droid X in the factory car dock that rotates the home screen and application selection screen.
There are apps that will lock your homescreen landscape for you. play store rotate

Darn XDA won't let me post links, but search for Rotation Locker by madmack on the Google Play Store.
It worked for me on my Note 2. When you start up the app, press and hold the "auto" option and it will run in the background.
Nova always rock solid for me.

Hi everyone,
I just created an app that controls rotations, currently Auto-rotation, Landscape and Portrait.
As the title stated, this app uses proximity sensor as an additional button. If you use your finger and wave two consecutive times at it, the toggles will be triggered.
It is very convenient when you just start the video and forget to set your orientation to auto or when you need to rotate a video or a photo. With this app, you do not need to swipe from the top trying to open the notification panel and find the orientation toggle anymore.
Moreover, you can even customize the color of the toggle. Simple as that, this app makes your phone work for you.
You can download from playstore: Smart Rotation (package name: com.nqk.instantrotation)
Please email me any feedback or suggestion, I am new to android development and willing to expand my limit.

I saw a g9 power in the shop today, and it had the 3 navigation keys but most screenshots on the internet dont show as it having them so does yours? I really want it to have them as i cannot operate on swipe gestures on any phone i couldent even unlock a iphone 12 because there wasnt a home button on it.
Tell me please!
If your phone didnt have it and it happenend in a software update please also tell me
Yes, it does. It has an option of either classic three-button navigation or gesture navigation, and I don't think Google will ever remove that option (it's still there in Android 12).
Here's a screenshot of the menu to change the navigation style, while using the 3 button navigation.

OK, thank you so much!
When hovering the s pen over the screen there's a small circle showing on the screen under the pen tip.

You can change the circle to something else using the Pentastic app (included in Samsungs Good Lock app).
Or, when using the built in screen recorder you can tap a button to show a blue cursor instead of the circle.
This is pretty neat if you are recording guides and tutorials for example.
BUT I don't find it useful since the cursor turns into that small almost invisible circle when hovering at link or button. This is true for non Samsung apps. This is confusing and looks unprofessional.
Here is the s pen hovering the background (look at the cursor)
Here is the s pen hovering a button (look at the small circle)
I hope Samsung will fix this issue.
I think it´s bad and I will not use this for tutorials. What do you think?
Or is there a workaround?
(Sorry this is my second thread on the topic. I thought my last thread was confusing. I will delete it.)
