How are they holding up? I hate my screen saver...and I miss the feel I had on my iphone.
I've literally never broken a phone, so I won't pay monthly for insurance...but I don't know the durability level. My GS3 still is scratch free after almost a year...will the G2 screen hold up?
Still doing awesome, no scratches at all. Lives in my pocket with change and sometimes keys.

What is improved in gorilla glass 3 ?
Sent from my LG-D803 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Scratch resistance and thickness. Shattering its easier I hear because there is more pressure.

Ah well, like normal? For sure better as the iPhone. (Even though I had only 3 iPhones) Scratches happen everywhere, depends if you can see them or not. Mostly not if screen is on.
I got some scratches from the Quick Window case (really bad design) and I am repeating myself, there is for sure a thread where this was already answered...

You search and get your sources straight and believe what you want .
I could care less if its version 9... it gets scratched... everything can get scratched.. and I am done arguing with you
I never use screen protectors. Only when going to the beach. That's about the only time and that's if I remember to do it.

Almost 2 months use of no protection on the screen whatsoever and it's still good as new when I wipe it clean.
Sent from my LG-D802 using xda premium
I did this for a month and one day i had to pick sth up on the floor. My phone got out and started gliding on the very soft fake wood stage I was standing on.After that I won't ever use it without a screen protector or a case.Get one not because u need it but because u have to be ready for whatever. Now I just toss it around.

LG G2 gorilla glass 2.Abbreviate and u have LG G2 GG2!lol!
I hate the feel when I touch the screen when my hands are like a bit wet or smth, it feels smudgy and leaves prints on the screen that's why I don't like using it naked
My biggest pet peeve is a naked screen. Every smartphone I've ever owned, the first thing I did was put a screen protector on it. I don't want a scratched screen!
Sent from my LG-D800 using xda app-developers app
Still naked here without scratches. The screen is holding up very well.
Thanks all, I didn't expect so many answers so quickly.
Don't look, I'm about to get naked.

little attention, I would not be anything
I don't know if it was meant for this, but my G2 (Rogers D803) came with what is a fairly decent screen protector right on it. I thought it was just one of those plastic films that would peel off by itself over time, but it's lasted over a month and still going strong. I bought screen protectors to put, but haven't had to!

Why would you even post this and wait for a reply?! U can get the answer in less than a minute if you use a bit of common sense....
http://bit.ly/OWT0LQ
Just because it's made out of gorillas, and doesn't mean it's not scratch proof. It's actually pretty bad if you ask me, and I've already got a ton kf scratches (not that I care though really)
Get a 1$ screen protector and 10$ case for your 600$ smartphone and you should be fine :fingers-crossed:
When you guys pop off the battery cover, make sure you keep a extra finger on the camera lens cover. My lens cover came off about 3/4 the way last night requiring a trip to the sprint store for repair. I apparently wasn't the first one to bring it back for that.
Thanks for the heads up.
i had to exchange my whole phone best buy broke mine
Thanks for that tip. Looks like a design flaw. I don't remember having that issue with my Note 2

Just got mine from fed.ex today.. Must say very impressed, very slim(close to the commuter) barely any bulk. Screen guard is pretty good aswell,no rainbow or fuzziness like the defender for the s3.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Rubber also feels pretty tough, like its half tpu...maybe its just me..
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Good to know they are trying to make it less bulky... I remember iPhone 4 one literally triples overall thickness. I might consider getting one.
Awesome ! I look forward to getting mine.
Got mine from fed ex today too.....same as op im impressed with the slim-ness of it. Definitely an improvement on the note two especially as the home button is now covered. The rubber is very much different to the old one but all in all im pleased with my purchase.

How well does the S-pen work on it?
How does the holster look compared to the note 2 version?
Sent from my SM-N900P using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Rainbow is all over mine depending on the light reflection.
Can someone post pictures of their black Note 3 inside the Otterbox Defender? I can't wait until mine arrives!

It looks the same!!! Could have done with some cut outs so if the phones in the holster with the screen facing out you cant get at the S-pen

Anyone have any input on whether this works with glass screen protectors?
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
Wow I need one of these in my hands, now!
For my note 2, l removed the Screen protector and use a tempered glass instead because the screen defender provided look and feel quite cheap.

Took a 20 foot fall off of the top of the pilot house of one of the vessels I am working on. Hit one of our condensers right on my screen then another 30 feet down to main deck.
The Otterbox Defender helped too.
But if it wasn't for the Iloome screen protector, my screen would be destroyed.

Glad your phone survived it's adventure, and good to hear the iLoome + Otterbox Defender combo worked so well - it's what I'm using too.
I almost cried as it crashed to the deck... I ran down as fast as I could to see the damage. I thought my baby was done for. Luckily the screen protector took all the impact from the first hit and the case took the rest as she tumbled down 3 more levels.

It was the thicker one. I think the flex is made of thick plastic. This one is tempered glass.

Is there anywhere you can buy just the T-Mobile back cover? Mine makes a creaking noose when you touch the back around the camera.

I've found that most of the "creaking" noises comes from the battery being slightly loose.
Try taking out your battery and see if it still creaks.
I thought the back cover was solid not flimsy like past phones? I'm not going to press around the camera to see if I hear a creak. Lol
Mine has a slight creek in one corner, however, I fixed it by heating it with a hair dryer and bending it a little and now JTS perfect. I have 3 back covers and the Att one creeks more for some reason but I don't notice anything while it's in my case.
