i never used usb teathring cuz i had better internet connection ....but now when i dont have a connection so i need to use my fone for connection but i cant have a working connection on my pc.......this is wat i do
1.icheck usb debuging
2.i check usb teather and connect fone with usb to pc
3.i wait 2-3 min but nothing happens
4.i uncheck usb debugging and repeat step 2 and 3 but nothing happens
plz i need a solution soon help!!

First connect phone to PC.. wait for it to show USB connected and USB debugging connected.. then tick USB tether hope u have LG drivers already installed..

If u use win xp,u will need an additional driver tetherxp.inf for usb tether to work.Search the market.
My s3 is not rooted , windows vista doesnt recognize it even thought it does recognize my galaxy ace one ! Heeelpp pleaaasseee !!
Is USB debugging enabled under developer options?
Have you actually installed the Samsung USB drivers or Kies ???

Usb debugging is off , and yes i have kies and tried also the troubleshoot
Also u shld know that i have an update for samsung usb driver thats not installing from windows update

Facing the same Problem.... Windows say your usb device malfunctioned!!
I tried deleting the samsung usb driver and then installing them again.It worked for me but still sometime i see the same error again and i have to reconnect the device again. Looking for permanent solution

Total removal of USB drivers including Kies and registry entries .
Install new
Search will tell you amongst others to try clean usb port change usb port to motherboard port change cable etc etc etc .

Just go to Setting > More Setting > USB Utilities > Connect To PC (Connect USB) and turn on the USB MASS STORAGE !
IF YOU WANT TO USE KIES , THEN YOU NEED USB DRIVERS FOR MAC

Do you have usb debugging check? Uncheck and try again.

i have installed xperia rom on Samsung galaxy s3 i9300 and it works so good except one thing
when i want plug my phone cable to the laptop . the laptop doesnt feel the phone at all or show me the mass storage , i tried to active
delevoper option and usb debugging it is same . Although when i restore my phone to original belly jea,, it works my usb very well

I am using Micromax A90s and upgraded to JB 4.1.1 from ICS. Right now I am facing a issue. The issue is , when I connect my phone to any computer its not getting detected. I tried all the below things.
1) Used new Data cable.
2) Verified with different computer
3) Flashed ROM again
4) Replaced the phone USB connector / JACK
5) Installed the driver in pc.
Now I am helpless. For the above issue I went thru many links. One of the link //techathlon.com/fix-usb-mass-storage-issue-samsung-galaxy-phones/. The secret code given in that link is not working for MMX A90s model. So I need secret code for MMX A90s model.
Anyone please provide me the solution for my problem.
Note:-
I am suspecting one thing. In my office I am not supposed to connect the Phone to PC but I connected for charging by selecting " USB Debug disable " or " Charge only " . After this my phone is not detected by any computer.
Any PC anti-virus program will disable the USB PORT COM.
