How to email to the Google Play editors? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have created a very good app (not just my opinion), which is perfect for the upcoming holidays. However, I am afraid that my app will go unnoticed, but may be of interest to the editors of Google Play.
Tell me please, how can I can to contact them?

no chances((

I don't think your can just email them to have it include as an editor's choice. It kind of defeats the purpose of it being a choice. They seek out apps to include as their selections and choose the most worthy. You'd have to have not just a very good app but an amazing app for it to be included.

[Q] [Request] Better Google voice App

I tried searching but no app for Android. (other than the one by google)
I think the google voice app by google inc is good. But i just wish it had a character count. It messes up the texts when you go over 160 and it sends it as multiple and they dont even arrive in the right order to the destination.
Also i wish it wouldn't hang every once in a while when i press send. It's like its trying to send but it just hangs there. wish they could fix that. A timer there would be nice. I have to stop it by using task manager.
And be able to use have themes.
If there is an app that could replace the current that would be cool. If anyone knows of one that works just post me a link. I tried searching but no success..
If there is a mod for the current google app that adds these features that would be awesome. OR if there is a good API to access the google voice. Or a project that is currently being worked on. That would be cool too.
I have been looking for one for a while too, I tired pairing it with text plus and textfree but recent changes have lead to no avail. I guess we can't complain to much for what we are getting but oon the hand textplus is an amazingly beautiful app and I just want that level of design and features from Google, I don't feel it's unfair to look for Google to pick up their game. If any one knows of anything please post, I feel like a lot of people would appreciate it.
AFAIK Google does not have any API's for Voice, which is why you can't find anyone aside from Google with an app. One thing a lot of people don't realized is that just because Google made Android open source, doesn't mean they have to make all the apps for it open source also.
Is there anywhere we can go to request the release of an API or at least a redesign of the app?

[Q] What feature would be good in a fitness app?

I've been asked to create an app at work. It's for a membership we sell that gives people access to numerous gyms in the City. The app will do the usual things a website would e.g. be able to list upcoming classes, and details about the different gyms, but it seems to me like this is app would be rather unuseful as all the info I've been asked to put in the app is on our website, and mobile site.
So I'm curious as to what people think would be good to build into the app. I don't personally go to the gym so I'm not sure what features would be of use to people. All I can think of at the moment is a stopwatch/timer for when people are doing activities.
Does anybody else have any ideas that would be good?

App that does this

I'm looking for an app that allows you to punch in all your membership IDs. For example, putting in your YMCA, Shoppers club, etc Id numbers into all one app so you don't need the physical cards.
Im sorry if Its hard to word this for your to understand. I just can't quite think or find an app for this. Who knows maybe someone on XDA even developed an app like this

Click to collapse
I am not sure if there is an app to actually keep this in one place, but there are apps to create a barcode based on a number (I used one to replicate my school ID card so I could check out books using my phone). Maybe one could make an app that would do this, and allow you to name each barcode and store a list of them so you could easily pull it up... Sorta like a pseudo iOS Passbook for Android. Actually that would be really cool. I will consider making such an app if I find time. That's an amazing idea!
Barcode Generator - Google Play Store - I believe this is the app I used. It can also make QR codes. It supports many common formats, so it should work unless the store is using some stupid proprietary system. You can just make the barcodes and save them to your gallery so that you have access to them. I hope this helps.

Recommendation: which one is your favorite News app?

There are so many News app for the Android OS, and the All have that one feature that makes it stand out from the rest. I'm curious to know what News app the users of XDA community enjoy using the most.
there are some famous example:
News 360: it is amazing this app is free and has no subscription cost. A flexible and smart personalization system, so that you can tailor your news however you want, by choosing the topics, sources, companies and people you want to follow
Zaker:Concise language is concise and it has offline capabilities so you can catch the news offline. You can share news with your friends through wechat, weibo, facebook etc.
Hotoday: it is also free. The interface is cool and beautiful. Aslo it has personalization system. Especially, professional workers will pull the hottest news to you by themselves. So it gets a very high score among the users.
Post what your favorite News app is, and what feature makes you use it over any other News app.
Thanks for joining in the discussion!
in my opinion, the three above are excellent representative, what's your opinion?
