Question : I am not sure were to find the answer. So for some reason my s2 became network lock . The last thing i did before it now ask for "SIM network unlock PIN" is a nandroid back using v12.6 with siyah s2 4.1.5kernel without any problem. I have been using wanam prior versions without a single problem. This s2 is purchase through samsung retail store here in Philippines so it is unlock to any network when it was purchase about 9 months ago, there are only 3 networks here and i have tried 2major network provider sim cards out of the 3 and both sim the s2 is asking for SIM network unlock PIN , i have been using the same sim card since the first day of purchase of this s2. I have tried a different ROM, currently on faryaab SuperNexus build 4( did a full wipe) and still asking for SIM network unlock PIN. So i don't even know what network is it lock to. Can any body help, any information is much appreciated

I think you may have to use all these Galaxy S2 unlock apps to solve that. Please back up your /efs partition if you haven't before attempting to unlock your phone.
Hello!
I ask for your help, i have an i9100 (international model) rooted phone (unlocked far as I know), and it was happened was I've just flashed Westcrip's Ressurection ROM on my GS2 and now I cannot connect to my network provider which is T-Mobile HU (I'm in the hungary) because whenever I boot up my phone it comes up with a screen that says "SIM network unlock pin" with only a dialogue box for the 'pin' and to either unlock or dismiss.
I tried to flash new kernel (SiyahKernel, Dorimanx, CM10), multiple versions, I tried to google store galaxy unlocked programs, but failed. What should I do?
Thanks in advance for any help!
try the last few numbers of your sim card unless you have changed that. It is the defult code.

hello,
I've read all the same topic, propose a solution, but it did not help.
When I turn on the phone this message: Insert SIM network unlock pin.
I changed kernel, flashing new modem with odin, I tried the program Omnius for Samsung, all the apps from market, Samsung Galaxy unlock code generator v1.4, but none of them helped.
If anyone knows the solution please write or linked here.
Thank you very much.

That is completely irrelevant and is no excuse to create a duplicate topic. You should have simply replied to the topics already on this subject which was created after the leaked new JB sammy rom.
This will work: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spocky.galaxsimunlock&hl=en
Thanks for the comments. Galaxsim apk program helped.
I have Galaxy S2 phone bought from Japan and it was network unlocked by the carrier NTT Docomo.
I had been using it successfully in India with a local SIM card.
When it had the 2.3.6 GB version, it was working on roaming, but after upgrading to 4.0.3 ICS, on trying roaming facility, it has started giving network unlock error message.
Initially I thought it was a security message and tried the configured combinations. Unfortunately, after 3 attempts, it has got locked and not detecting any SIM nor asking for the network unlock code now.
Any possible solutions to handle this?
If rooting the phone and running the unlock software is the only solution then, which kernel to use for this?
Please do advise.
Thanks,
Bhakti
I have a problem with my i9100G
I bought the phone and it was network blocked
Details:
When i insert simcard i have a zone in the phone, but i can't call or texting, because instead operator name I have text like Emergency calls only, and then my phone boots up, it does not ask for any unlock code
Phone has 4.1.2 Stock firmware with root
What i did:
1. I tried Galaxy S2 SIM Unlock and unlock code was not found
2. I tried GalaxSim Unlock and it show me that my sim status is unlocked and i have not option to unlock it
3. I tried SamsungUnlocker v1.4, copied nvdata.bin file from my phone to my pc, but failed because of my videocard unsupport(lol...), when I choose second option and pathced my nvdata.bin, moved to my phone back, deleted nvdata.bin.md5(or something like this) and restarted, but no luck, all the same
4. I flashed other modem, but no luck again
If need some screenshots, i will upload later
So I have no more ideas, how to unlock this crappy phone
I hope you help me guys
P.S. Sorry for my bad english, I hope you understood what i meant
Hi there, this is my first post on this forum so I apologize if this is in the wrong place. I have recently purchased an s3 (GT-I9300) used, on orange network. When the phone boots, the orange network logo is displayed. I rooted the phone using CF-Auto-Root-m0-m0xx-gti9300 using odin , and i have checked, and it is succesfully rooted. This was my first root on a phone, and seemed to go well. I have not installed anything else using odin. Then I went about to unlock the phone, getting numerous unlocking apps (ariza patch, galaxsim unlock, galaxy S unlock, voodoo s3 unlock) but they all do nothing, saying they have unlocked it but my talkmobile micro sim (which runs off vodaphones network) will not work in the phone, it just asks me for a network key, then says emrgency calls only, and if i try to dial anything, says 'not registered on network'. I have not tried another sim in it yet as that was the only microsim I had.
My question is, can I unlock this phone in any other way, like would taking it to a market stall unlocker, or buying a code from the internet do the trick? and also, will I be able to install custom roms on this phone safely? Im not sure if the orange bootloader affects this in any way. Thankyou for reading, any help would be greatly appreciated
