Hi!
I have 4 phones in my company Desire X, all phones except mine are not rooted, but all have the same problem:
phone is rebooting or asking for a pin, every 1 or 2 days...
Can somebody help me to solve this problem?
The problem is the same or rooted & original FW.

Is it a lockscreen Pin ? (to unlock the device).
Have you put a different SIM in the phones to what it's meant to be ?
If all else fails you could you use Aroma Fm or do a wipe in recovery

Hi,
I have recently bought the HTC Desire X. Its working very fine except for one problem.
I have tried to send and receive files via bluetooth. When i turn it on and the other device searches for a bluetooth device, my device is not found. I need to restart the phone once for it to be found.
Is this a major problem? I would be grateful if someone helps me out.

Yes very much it was visible. Still it wasnt found!
Simple question.
Why default headphones that came with my desire x are not usable with my phone,it doesnt shot notification on top,and when i play music it plays trough speakers. Hheadphones work perfectly on my pc,nexus 7,and my friends devices,why the hell are they not working on my desire x?

They worked perfectly with my phone and then they stooped working with it, but they work with other devices... I dont have any ideas why it happened, i just bought another headphones which work with my phone.

I dont understand what happened,they worked for 1 week,and then they stopped working only on desire x...

Well, i haven't found app called SongAbout, but i found soundAbout from ths developer
Yes, it works but i should every time swich from speaker to headphones manually...

On which ROM are you? We had a similar problem with HTC Aria using MIUI ROM for JB, maybe this can help them (as I don't have this phone anymore).

I use stock ROM withount root.
Can you try using a custom ROM of your choice? I never tried stock, but went straight onto using Skydragon first, now I'm on Sense Revolution R2 (JB). I never got problems with headphones...

Wi-fi Direct is working if you use Superbeam, but only to receive files. When trying to send, the phone reboots. Without Superbeam it doesn't seem to work at all.
Anybody knows any fix for this?

Guys need your help. Writing because not very familiar with xperia p and don't know anything. coming from nexus and Samsung.
Bought my mom xperia and after she updated to jb phone started behave very weird I mean freezing from time to time touch screen not responsive and disconnecting call. In general became very slow as well.
What would be your advise do the factory reset and set everything one more time or flash the firmware from scratch. If the second one could you tell me where can I find step by step guide to do that.
Sorry for silly question but as I said I'm completely new to Sony.

You should try both ways. I mean, take a factory reset and set everything again. If that doesn't work, you could download stock firmware from this thread if you want jb: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2333145
of from here if you want ics and gb roms: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1938296
Here you can see how to use flashtool to flash new roms: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmmThXTWu74 . This tutotial is for arc s but the procedure is the same.
In any case i think ,since i read that jb on sony xperia p gives some problems, that you have to downgrade to ics (or even better gb since has good battery life and it's more stable) and wait for sony xperia p jb new firmware. Don't know when could arrive.

Don't know how it was for htc mate. Could you give me some details?
You had to cheat a bit because bootloader was locked and it didn't allow you to downgrade just by plugging the phone and run the whole firmware flashing procedure but I presume that it's not a problem so I'll stop bothering and just try to do it if I'll have any problems will get back to you for advise

Hey all, lately I've been reading the thread which asks for full sense for desire x Dual SIM version. Since i don't know the dual SIM one, I've got a chance to own the dual SIM one for a month. Now I'm a noob at porting roms but I always wanted to learn and do it by myself. So I'm looking forward to port the full sense 4+ and CM and Sense 5 to the dual SIM version of desire x. Since I only have a month left to access the dual SIM one, without wasting any time I would like to know somethings,
I need a guide for porting full sense from single SIM desire x to dual SIM one, the guide should be easy and working and then
I'm looking for permission from the original creator of full sense of desire x single sim in order to port it to dual sin version.
The last and the final thing I want is a recovery for dual SIM DX as I have no idea how and which recovery to port so someone can please port a recovery for DX dual SIM?
One more thing, while going to the older threads I saw some guys complaning that dual SIM DX doesn't boots up after rooting or flashing the TWRP recovery, can someone look forward to this issue so that I may proceed further and port full sense to some of our DX dual sim users.
Please note I've only got a month left for using dual sim DX after that ill be getting the single sim version again.

I would also need the file "/proc/emmc" as it contains the block #s of different partitions and their sizes.

That wasn't the answer to my question well. Btw I will port cynaogenmod from single SIM Desire x rather than building from the scartch and same goes for other sense 4+ full..

As far as I know you can install Single sim phone roms on Dual sim just loosing on Dual sim functionality, might be wrong there is no harm in trying just take a band backup before trying.

Don't care about dual SIM
I want the Rom to be working fine just like it does on single sim desire x
So ny question is
Should I port different recovery or should I flash single sim DX recovery?
Should I port cm and sense roms from DX single sim or should I directly flash DX single SIM Rom on dual SIM Dx?

Try flashing all the different single sim stuff(rom,recovery etc) on your dual sim. Then only we can know how port friendly it is.

Ok, well that sounds safe btw some threads earlier stated that their dual SIM variant Desire x didn't booted cause they flashed single SIM Rom and a recent thread in Q/A Section which says that his dual SIM DX is working with Single SIM Desire X Rom but after flashing the dual SIM DX shows no signal..you can head to that thread, its right on the top of the list in Q/A Section.
