Hi:
I have a Amaze ans there is no way I can go into recovery or OS.
I already reflash all ICS original images and the same.
Did it unlocked and relocked asame result.
I can go into HBOOT but nothing else.
The USB debug is not activated so I have very few options.
this is what I see in HBOOT:
*** UNLOCKED *** or *** RELOCKED ***
RUBY PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.93.0002
OpenADSP-v02.6.0.2226.00.0202
eMMC-boot
Mar 15 2012,21:46:51
I can go into fastboot and execute commands, I even try to reflash TWRP with Hasoon tool and by myself with no luck.
When I try to boot recovery the phone shows the white HTC screen and vibrate. then it make a few soft vibrations with some time between then like it was in a loop.
In Win 8.1 it does not mount correctly. I manage to access it in Win7. In Linux did not mount either.
Any help?

Try this fastboot command when flashing the recovery.
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader

If that doesn't work, download the latest available RUU from one of the threads here and flash it via fastboot:
Code:
fastboot oem rebootruu
fastboot flash zip rom.zip
fastboot reboot
When something like what happened to you happened to me, that helped me. Bear in mind these commands got me a working Amaze, but all personal data is gone. I don't remember if my internal SD was wiped, but it's possible it was.
Also, the "rom.zip" is relative to the path you're running the fastboot command from. So if you're running fastboot from C:\Android, easiest thing to do is put the zip file in the same folder.

On new year's eve, i decided to upgrade GB to HC to have a taste of the new OS.
but then tragedy comes. after downloaded OTA updates and reboot my view, I stuck on the HTC screen till now.
Yet I can boot into bootloader, and now my devices is S-ON with HBOOT 1.130000, I have tried to unlock the bootloader via HTCDEV website, but when I type: fastboot oem get_identifier_token, it give me the error:
(bootloader) [ERR] Command error !!!
OKAY [ 0.016s]
finished. total time: 0.016s
and when I type--adb devices, it shows--list of devices attached.
I did sucessfully installed htc driver and uninstalled htc sync and even reinstalled win 7 system. but it looks like adb can't identify my view correctly.
and also I tried to unlock my tablet via http://revolutionary.io/, but the tool-revolutionary.exe always shows--waiting for devices.
I have also tried to run RUU_Express_Sprint_WWE_1.22.651.1_Radio_1.05.11.0531_NV_2.28_SPCS_release_198141_signed, and all my effort was in vain.
So this is the situation. besides,I bought this tablet from local retailer in China, there is no way to turn to HTC for help.
I am looking forward someone here may give me some help.
Thank you in advanced!
Send PM to Globaton.
Hopefully he will be able to help you.

ok, you're in an odd state here, you're caught in no man's land between gingerbread and honeycomb.
download this: http://www.multiupload.com/GAZ67V0VY1
flash it as follows:
boot the view to fastboot mode
Code:
fastboot erase cache
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
fastboot reboot-bootloader
It won't give you a bootable system, but it will allow you to unlock the bootloader.
At that point you will be able to flash the honeycomb cwm, and either install a custom rom or revert to GB to S-OFF.
Globatron,I did as your instruction, and pls take a look following information of fastboot getvar all, which step should i proceed? sorry, but I am a newbie here.

Globatron, after unlocked bootloader via htcdev, to my surprise, without doing something else, it succssfully boot into HC,you have save my view and save me a lot of hopeless effort. If you don't mind,I will post your method to the local view forum, as far as I know, there are many people have the same problem as I am.
I really appreciate all your help. wish you have a good day!

Hello,
I have an AT&T HTC One, on which I loaded Cyanogenmod's 10.2 rom. I tried to do an update to their 11.0 snapshot rom, and the system locked up during the installation. I wasn't able to recover, and now my phone is looping at boot. I can get into the bootloader screen, which shows this:

I have wandered all over this forum and the internet in general, downloaded multiple versions of HTC drivers, various RUU files, tried to make the S-OFF using both rumrunner and revone without any success. I've tried both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports, and I've tried multiple USB cables.
When I select RECOVERY in the bootloader menu, the phone goes back to the looping on and off.
My ideal scenario would be to load the latest AT&T software load of Android 4.4.2/Sense5.5, but at this point, just getting a usable phone would be wonderful!
Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello,
I have an AT&T HTC One, on which I loaded Cyanogenmod's 10.2 rom. I tried to do an update to their 11.0 snapshot rom, and the system locked up during the installation. I wasn't able to recover, and now my phone is looping at boot. I can get into the bootloader screen, which shows this:
****TAMPERED****
****UNLOCKED****
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-1.56.0000
RADIO-4T.24.3418.09
OpenDSP-v32.120.274.0909
OS-4.18.502.7
eMMC-boot 2048MB

I can get Fastboot to work, but not ADB. Here's the results from my getvar all:

your going to reflash recovery then a rom
download twrp 2.6.3.3 here > http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
then flash it in fastboot
fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
then download the rom post below and sideload it to your phone
boot to recovery then
TWRP / Advanced / Sideload - swipe to sideload
From PC adb / fastboot folder
you use
adb sideload name-of-rom.zip
make sure the rom is in the same folder as adb / fastboot

He can't get into recovery
Thank you!
Thank you for your help! Your instructions worked perfectly. As a side note, I noticed that I could use adb when the TWRP recovery image was loaded, but not when I was just in the bootloader screen. Anyway, thank you again for the help!
I was trying to flash a new ROM and I did 'fastboot oem relock'. Now I only have access to Fastboot and the phone is currently S-ON. My CID is GOOGL001, and HTCDev's bootloader unlock doesn't work.
When I try to flash a new recovery, or bootloader, I get "signature verify fail". I don't know what else to do. I tried everything I could come up with.

Thanks, but this file won't help at all, this a stock guru rom for .401 version (OP is on .1700) that require a custom recovery to be flashed. Op is stuck S-ON with a locked bootloader.
I tried changing my HTC One M8_WHL PVT SHIP S-OFF into developer edition using the guide on http://htc-one.wonderhowto.com/how-...edition-for-super-fast-sense-updates-0156524/ . I successfully changed the MID and the CID without breaking a sweat. After, I used TWRP to restore the backup which the guide instructed me to download and restore. After restoring that backup, device could only boot HBOOT. Now I tried running the RUU.exe for Developer Edition and I get the error which asks that I run the correct RUU for the device. Now, the device doesn't boot pass HBOOT
What I can do ...
1. Boot into TWRP recovery
2. Give fastboot commands with HBOOT
3. Boot into RUU via fastboot
What I can't do ...
1. Boot the device
2. Revert the MID change to its original state cos I will need to run ADB Shell to do that, which cannot be done from HBOOT
3. No RUU.exe is responding to flashing the device
The specific help I need ...
1. Be able to Change MID using Fastboot so I can run a SPRINT RUU
fastboot getvar all results ...
C:\adb>fastboot getvar all
