Since I still don't have my required initial ten posts, I can't post in the development forum for the Flashback 4.3 alpha honeycomb rom,ill ask my questions here. I recently installed this rom as my first exposure to honeycomb and I must say that I love it. One thing I've noticed is that no matter what my volume is set to, it stays constant at full on... anyone know of any fixes? Also I saw LBSs new honeycomb kernel and I was curious if anyone had tried it with this rom yet...thanks!
Hi, I've been running Task650 & Ktoonsez AOKP roms on my Galaxy S2 for maybe 9~10 months now (thanks btw).
Recently I've started having some problems which I hope somebody can help me with.
For some reason all of the folders on my external SDcard have started being doubled or tripled when in the phone.
It's like they're ghost copies that take no actual space on the card. The problem can be seen with a file explorer app or connected to my computer. If I take the card out of the phone and attach it to a computer the folders are normal.
It affects my ringtones and notifications, there will be two or three choices and only one of them will work, the others are no sound.
It also affects my gallery, lots of blank picture squares.

I've been having the problem with the 11/09 rom and now with the 11/20 rom.

I installed the 11/20 rom hoping to have the problem resolved but no luck.
The only thing I can think of that I've changed is that I've been using JusTunBean invertedgapps for these two rom installs.
I haven't found any reports of this problem on his thread, unless I'm searching for the wrong words.
Not sure how or why his inverted gapps would affect the sdcard like this.
If this is a problem with these gapps I'd like to find a way to get it fixed because I really like his inverted gapps.
Sorry if this problem has come up before but I couldn't find any similar posts.

Hi! Currently running CM 10.1 on my intl SGS3, which I quite late realized wasn't a good idea given lack of Exynos hardware documentation from Samsung.
Currently trying to figure out what stock based ROM I should switch to, if any. CM10.1 has been working OK but with some gapps crashes now and then.
My main things that I would want to keep from CM10.1 is
1) Hardware button re-mapping -- I don't like not having a recent apps/multitask button so I reassign menu to this. Do any stock ROMs enable this?
2) LED color assignment -- the pulsing led feature in CM10.1 is great. I tried various apps to do this while I was running original firmware, but none worked. Any stock ROMs that has this feature?
Maybe I'm asking for features that can only be enable in slight rewrites/modified ROMs?

hi guys. i am running slimbean 4.2.2 latest version. i just upgraded the kernel from stock to kangbang 2.0. everything runs perfectly except changing vibration intensity. with this kernel, i noticed that stweaks installed and checked there is no setting for vibration intensity. also when i want to change it in settings/advanced/haptic, the vibration strength option is blurred. is there any way to change it.

It says in the kangbang thread that it's not recommended to run v2 on anything below android 4.3. That's possibly where you're issues are coming from.
As far as your specific question goes, I'm not sure sorry. Just needed to mention that v2 is intended for 4.3.

Fix the basics of your rom
Your rom is ****. When I get called or when I call, it just freezes. When I put in my headphones, the audio keeps playing from the speakers. Same thing when I connect to my bluetooth speaker. The rom is slow as **** and when I try to set the cpu settings to another setting (performance or ondemand(which I need because the rom is so ****ing slow)), it resets every single time I reboot. Maybe its the kernel but im holding you responsible because you recommended thunderkernel. Also I really do not understand why all these morons say that this rom is any good. I'd rather have the stock rom than this ****.
Ofcourse the first things that comes to your mind is: 'bweuhhh, just buy another phone then'
At the moment I'll just have to do it with this ****ty device. But at least TEST YOUR ****ING ****
i followed all guide, when instaled this rom and i reboot device ,that Stuck on the samsung logo and nothing happening

I have highest respect for OP, but this Rom in my opinion should not be marked "stable" as only few positive feedbacks "Reincarnation Rom Series v.5" received from customers. ( We are aware of the fact that CM7.2 RC4 kernel has some well-known bugs due to nature of cyanogen-mod.However this one contains so much bugs i don't know where to begin though).
without undermining attitudes and intentions to violate our Rules, I must say the best word which describes this CM7.2 RC4 based Rom is "underdeveloped". I urge viewers to get more "stable" Roms such as "ACE-I-SCAPE" till everything settle down :good:
@alipahlavi, This Rom was ported for Ace GT-S5830i/C/M/39i device ( Cooperve) Are you abseloutly sure we are on the same page, before I start pinpointing the root cause of your problems ?
Android version ; Kernel version of your stock device ; PDA/CSC/MODEM information of your stock firmware you were standing ( not so sure,,sammobile.com database is the source)
Are you come from stock Rom/Stock Based Custom ROM or you flashed from CM7 Based ROMs ?
What kernel did you use , after mounting the corresponding partitions (FYI: when something is mounted then it will show "unmount" inside your CWM,If it shows "mount" then it is not mounted )
Before I go further, we need to get you out of boot loop ( assuming you are stocked in splash screen and only access to Download mode ). Study this post please. If your initial problem wasn't resolved ,I will instruct more hints .
i tried to install this ROM on my SGA s5830i which was runnung touchwiz resuurection v10 fine. Installation went fine but in the end it said ROM installed , status=0 After selecting reboot now ,it was stuck on the samsung galaxy ace blah blah blah menu. so I got the thing into recovery mode and installed the stock rom(wich i have tried before to unbrick and worked fine).but the stock rom flashing gave no good results just left a boot loop. Have any ideas. any solutionn would be great!

@droidprob, Status 0 Errors mostly caused by incorrect mount procedures as I explained some of the symptoms in post above though. For reverting back to your stock Firmware , you can follow my advice @ post#6 for step-by-step instruction of using your wipe flash-able package in correct fashion.

GT-S5839I installation
Hi, I'm new to all this so please make allowance.
I flashed this ROM to gt-s5839i and the ROM is very good, but I experienced some major bugs. I have since removed the ROM from the phone and realized that I forgot to flash the audio zip, so this may have fixed the head phone problem?
Bugs experienced:
When plugged in, the headphone was detected but sound continued to come from the phone speaker and was not directed to the headphone jack.
The camera application crashes on start up.
The FM radio application possibly doesn't work, couldn't be sure because of the headphone bug but it didn't work on all the other cm7 ROM's I tried.
I would love to be able to use this ROM, are any updates likely?
