I found that you can do mobile print from this Stock Browser via the menu => print. I was successful in printing out a test page via a network brother printer.

I am not able to access the wifi throgh uc web or any other browser other than the inbuilt one. When wifi is connected ,it is showing that unable to connect or the page cannot be displayed. Please tell me the process for accessing wifi for any browser for my Galaxy S2.please help me..
Check to see if you have a proxy set. I had to delete one to get full function.
Thx, but problem doesn't seem to be related to proxy.
Hello All,
I've have a debian server configured as a PPTP server. I configured my phone to connect to it.
It seems that it connect ok and EVERY application works through the VPN excep the browser.
Market, gmail, news and weather, maps.
I tried both the stock browser and dolphin hd but neither of them work.
strange thing is when you open the browser and start typing i get search suggestions so there is traffic going through but when i try to select a search suggestion or go to a webpage it just sits there.
I have torrentdroid installed and i can connect to my local home server when i'm connected to the vpn so the VPN is working....
does anyone have any suggestions?
Hi frnds,
I am having prob. with my college wifi. THe college wifi is 802.1 EAP secured network. So after connecting to the wifi. When i open the browser the browser first open the university's login page where i have to enter my username and pass.
And after clicking on login then i can open any site using the browser only.
But when i open any other app like market it does not connect it shows not network connection.
So the problem i think is that before connecting to the net, the wifi first verify the user identity. That can be done only in browser but entering details but not in case if market.
Hence does anybody know a method by which i can verify the wifi for the whole phone and hence can use any app on it.
Many college WiFi networks are configured not to allow second party apps (for example Android Market) to exchange data via that netowork. U would have to ask your network supervisor on your college if the "blocking second party apps" is true.
The proof, that the WiFi is working correctly is, that u can open any other site via the phone browser.
If u are willing only previews of apps in the market, try to connect to the market site via the phone net browser :]
Just as the title states, is there/whats the preferred app for mapping a network drive location via VPN in webOS so that I can access those files? I would like to setup the tablet to be able to access my work VPN and network folders remotely, the VPN right off the settings menu seems to connect fine and it says I am secure, but I have no way of actually browsing the VPN itself.
No one has the answer? I would like to know too
AT&T Galaxy Note II
I assume the answer is no but anyone think its possible to print to a printer through usb with the otg adapter? My printer is an epson and they have an app from the market that prints over wifi. I don't have wifi so just hoped I could connect it and print away.
When connected it knows it's a printer, which is nice. It also says it can print to Samsung printers but mine wasn't supported. Also tried an app called printershare which will print to use, except my exact printer model wasn't on their driver list.
I am able to use my Acer a500 tablet which has a full size usb port. Acer has a decent print application too.
Just in case anyone needed to do the same as me.

You said you can print over wifi but you have no wifi why don't you just make a hotspot and connect your printer to it if it's capable of and try that way? But you might run into the same problem you have where you can only print to Samsung Printers.
I tried that. Maybe I did something wrong but I can't get it to work over a hot spot.

If your printer is connected to your computer and it has internet access just set it up as a printer in google cloud print. Then use printshare to print to your printer. About the best I can offer you.

Don't be afraid to try other drivers in Printer Share. If your exact model doesn't show try some others from the same manufacturer. I've had to do that before with some older printers and have had good luck. I've never had Printer Share fail me with a wifi printer, don't know how it works with connected printers as I've never tried it that way.
Good luck.
