Maybe I am doing something wrong but it appears we cannot receive email notification counts from the email client. The only option it gives me is for Gmail. Ideally I would like to receive the count based on my exchange account as this is my work phone. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

We'll be adding more email account support in a month or so once the rest of the bug/performance issues have been sorted out

Hey guys,
I've got a work account that I've had over 5 years now, and with our server's spam filtering, 99% of all spam is eliminated, however I still get about 25 spams per day. Our server does help by adding {Spam} to the title of suspected spam that isn't automatically deleted.
Is there any way I can filter out email by this tag, or even better, is there a recommended app (preferably free) that can filter spam on just the Touch Pro for me?
Thanks folks!
Run your email through gmail. Set up gmail to pull in mail from your other pop accounts, then just set up your Gmail account on your phone. I was getting a ton of Spam and now get like 1 or two a day at most.
Thats an awesome idea.
Thanks!

would you still be able to pull your mail through outlook on your home pc if you did this? without having to set up gmail on outlook i mean, just having the default settings for my original pop email

You could check your normal pop email (non-Gmail account) but it wouldn't be filtered through Gmail's spam filters. You can set up Gmail in Outlook and you'll get all of your messages just like if you set up the email account directly.

you made my life easier, Thankyou
When I forward emails from my phone the email text that I am forwarding is not visible to the recipient.
If I try to view on my phone a forwarded message is not visible at all, if I view in Outlook I can view the forwarded email as a conversation, but other people that I have forwarded emails to have not been able to see them at all.
Thanks for any suggestions to sort this out.
..same problem here. Forwarding an email from my premium account leads to an empty mail. Any other account works fine.
I know 5 people with an S2 and the same issue. Anyone here with the same experience or even better a solution?
best
Can you guys send an email? Seems an outgoing server setting problem!
Sent from GT-I9100
Sending emails is fine, the problem is only with forwarding them. I've searched on Google and it seems to be a common problem on Android phones.
I rang Samsung who originally told me to delete all my email accounts and reinstate them and then told me that upgrading to the latest firmware would resolve it, however I think this was just a ploy to get rid of me, the employee didn't ask what my current firmware was and when I asked if this was definitely a fix for this in the latest firmware he said he didn't know!
everything is fine..except the forwarding. it's just with the 'premium' accounts. all other accounts work as expected. the server is a straight forward imap server. the same in fact i use for the second account that has no problems at all.
the issue is definitly on the mobile side... i am on KE2 - rooted.
if this issue is not fixable i will delete the premium account and reinstall it manualy. only workaround so far..

I'm having the same problem, ithehappy! No mails are being sent from my gmail account from the phone. Sent an email twice from my main gmail account to another yahoo account, and it has not even got sent! What exactly is the problem? Is it India specific problem?

sorry to say..but you have a different problem. sending mails is not the problem of this thread.. the forwarding of a received mail leads to an empty email on the recipient side. sending mails works fine.

I meant my problem is the same as what ITheHappy was referring to. I didn't mean my problem is same as yours. If somebody can answer why email is not being sent from my SGS II, it will be helpful to me. I was just trying to send one attachment of a pic in the email (total size of 131KB) and it just isn't being sent. There is no notification of whether the email is being sent or not! Does anyone here know the answer or I'll put my question in a separate thread.

Check you Outgoing Server settings, something must have messed up there.

updated to KF3...now it works. root gone ;(
I have always used two email clients - Gmail for my personal email and Samsung email for my work email. I suspect I am not the only one that does this.
Unfortunately, it seems like 99% of the Themer themes only display one email icon and one counter. Are there any themes out there that are set up for two email clients?

Additional email account support is on our to-do list. It's an immense task but it should be integrated within a few weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Hi,
Just trying out Themer
The unread email count seems only able to use my gmail, which isn't my primary account. Are there any plans (or settings I'm missing) to get it to use the mail app instead where I have my pop3 and exchange accounts set up?

Hi, for now Themer only supports Gmail accounts. Adding in the rest of stock mail accounts as well as other 3rd party email accounts is an immense task, but the development will start working on it once we have more resources

I was coming here to ask the same question, so thanks for the answer.
Whatever i do, it just counts gmail account emails, but i use the stock email app with exchange connection to my corporate emails.
I already set it up, so the icon doesnt open gmail, but exchange email, but the counter still counts gmail...
I'm new to themer and was just logging in to ask this exact same question any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
For now, Themer only supports GMail account notifications. Adding in alternate email accounts is a complex task, but the developers are still looking into it. We apologize for the inconvenience.
