I'm not able to flash the ROM. This message appears "set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed. E: Error in /sdcard/Download/omni- 4.4.2 -20131213- i9300-NIGHTLY.zip (status 7)". I tried putting in both external and internal but the same error comes up everytime. I have the latest philz recovery and I've even checked the md5.
I don't know know what else to do
Edit: I tried the latest TWRP, but same result. Some metadata error. Can someone please help me

Hi all, I tried rooting my MT4G with the gfree method, after I rebooted i saw that S=off so i went into HBoot and Rebooted, The screen goes berserk and ends up on Android Recovery, I figured I'd just apply the stock recovery, PD15IMG.zip i renamed it to update.zip but I get, E: signature verification failed Installation Aborted. :/ i tried a few files. Also can't open / cache/ recovery.

Figured out how to fix it incase anyone was having the same problem, you need a fake flash recovery image, however i cannot seem to find a download for it since Clockword Mod Recovery is now on the market, please if anyone know where I can download ClockWork Mod Recover as a zip file still post.
Got that same problem.
But when I'm trying this, it doesn't install successfully and says: "Signature verification failed, installation aborted."
Hey if your still on this, I just fixed it today!! Download PD15IMG.zip, put it on SD card - hold power and down then hit HBoot, let it run and BOOM! your done.

Used ClockworkMod for my custom backup. Downloaded Randomblame's taKTiK custom ROM but upon installation i get an error message: E: Error in/external_sd/tt-4.4-20140224-Release12-m470.zip.
The ROM flash begins as follows:

i think its not compatible with your phone
It's a tablet. The ROM is supposedly built for it. I get a Status 7 error which means that the installed version of CWM is not up to date. Can't find any info on how to update it though.

Whats the phone you are talking about?
I cannot flash most of the roms coming out in twrp, I keep getting an error about drive E. I have successfully flashed cm12 and jasmin, all others pose this error. Any ideas on what is going on?
